Has anyone else experienced "failure to load" of the new Rutan Boomberang uploaded this morning by Adrian?I get the beginnings of the cockpit panel including the blank "Power Book" and radio stack. However, the windows cursor stays as an hour glass and I hear a stunted "beep" sound periodically from the PC's sound system. After several minutes of waiting, I am forced to shut down FS9 through CtrlAltDel. Other aircraft in FS9 load OK. I thought I would see if I am the only one with this problem before I bother Adrian.Thanks,Larry

One thing I can't find out about this product is which planes are/can be used in the missions in this title.

I have been lurking here for a long time. I don't post much. But I have a problem with a group of folks that apparently allow their egos to govern their actions rather than common sense. Thats SGA. For some reason they are boycotting uploading their files to Avsim. That's dumb. Why? Don't know. All the head muck over there will say is that he hopes everyone will understand and fulfill his wishes but don't ask any questions. No explanation. Can any body explain this stupidity? Seems to me that the only ones that are hurt by this high school behavior is us, the sim community.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this site, including the forums, is down? I need to reinstall my Airbus products and cannot do so at the moment. Wondering if I should have got the original CDs and am thinkinf of doing this with everything from now on.Assume its only a temporary problem.RegardsJohn

I just wanted to jump on quickly and give my opinion, sorry if this is redundant.I'm very picky with payware, up until now I've really only spent time with two packages; pmdg 737 and the F1 ATR. This ERJ might just be my new airplane of choice. It's simply beautiful and the FDE seems excellent. The gauges run very smooth and look great. I haven't done much with the FMS yet as it looks a little intimidating. Now that I've given some top side pros, here's the story on MY performance. Hi!I've been a big fan of the MelJet 777-200ER for a long time, but now I've just begun flying the MelJet 777-300ER instead. Now I have a problem I haven't had before. I don't seem to get as far as I'm supposed to do. With the 772 or way back in the days when I flew the 744 I got as far as I should. What I mean is that the range of the 773ER is 7880 nM but I only get about 6800 before I'm out of fuel.Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a way to fix this?/ HiScore

I placed the two patch programs in with the original program files and have these in one folder: - fsasctl.exe - FSAutoStart.exe - FSAutoStart_License_Agreement.rtf - FSAutoStart_Readme.txt - FSAutoStart_Setup.msiThe first two files have small aircraft icons before their names.My question is: How do I install the program? I know this will sound strange... and as long as Ive been flight simming, I cant beleive I cant figure it out...I cant seem to find the screen which allows me to add to the scenery library.I know it's FSimming 101, but it's nowhere to be found. I just got my new CH Products Fighterstick USB. Another great piece of hardware however I am having one particular problem in FS2004. There is a problem with the elevator control. If I pull the stick all the way back or push it all the way forward, the elevator will either move up or down to its maximum point of extension and then it will immediately jump back to its normal centered position. Anyone have any idea as to what's going on and how this can be remedied? Thank you.

I just set up my new computer and it is considerably faster than what I have been using (P4 3.6ghz, Radeon 800XT PE, 1024MB). I've always used the rocker switch on my PFC yoke for elevator trim with the "repeat" feature halfway up in the "controls/assignments". I find with the faster computer, though, that the switch is way too sensitive. It is almost impossible to use without doing away with "repeat" but then I have to click the switch over and over, which doesn't work well. Is there a way to slow it down, perhaps using FSUIPC? Simmer friends :)I really like the A320 panel by Hector Molina, its very smart!But when I load up my iFDG A320 Im faced with blank screens on the panel. I use several POKSY 747-200s with Massimo Grassi's superb 747-200 panel. The thing is, the flap settings on his cockpit panel look weird when I activate them on the POKSY 742s: flaps 1 yields flaps 5 on the panel and all other flap settings are reflected inaccuratley up to flaps 30 (which appears as flaps 40 on the cockpit panel).I looked in the cfg file for the 747-200s and they have what appear to be several weird flap settings (0-5-10-15-20-25-30) although against that I'm not a cfg expert and perhaps I am mis-reading the data. I thought the 742 would have similar flap settings as the 744, but again, maybe not.(I haven't emailed Massimo since he doesn't list an email…

I have a weird situation in FS9 that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on.Most of the time I get decent frame rates, but as the flight goes on, I sometimes begin to get pretty bad stuttering.. It happens when switching views and when rotating the outside view..I did all kinds of changes and finally I unchecked the "Render to texture" box in the hardware section. Well, initially this fixed it and I immediately saw an increase in frame rates and no stuttering..so I finished my flight, and exited.The next time I flew FS9, I began to develop the same problem and I thought maybe somehow this "render to texture" somehow checked, so I went to see it and lo and behold it was…

Hi,see my error I get whenever I try to use the FS9 flightplaner.It says in German that it cannot find file and closes on me. The error message appears as a separate button. And when I click "close" FS9 just does a CTD with me. I cannot load any flightplan or make up one.What can cause this? Hi there,does anyone have experience with the new ERJ by feelthere yet? I read there forum and have heard mixed things with regards to gauge smoothness and some weird FPS cycling.I don't really mind "slower" fps but I'm not a big fan of gauges that make FPS go down to 10 FPS for a brief second and then go back up to 25. Hi All,I recently installed a BFG nVidia GeForce 6800GT to replace my Radeon 9700Pro. Within FS9, I set the display to my new card however, the FS9.cfg still shows [DISPLAY.Device.RADEON 9700 PRO.0]. What text should be entered for the 6800GT? Also, within FS9 settings, dislay, there are 2 choices for the 6800GT. They are 6800GT.0 and 6800GT.1. Which should I choose? Hi there,I installed the fs2002 version of La Palma in fs2004 using the fs2004 update available on the simwings site. However, the coastline in fs2004 is incorrect. In my opinion the coastline should be much more to the left. See attachment I installed the landclass as described in the helpfile for the fs2004 update. Do you have to add the canaryLC file in the scenery library? Is there a solution for this problem? In fs2002 the coastline was much more realistic! Thanks for any input,Christiaan Gorter

I noticed at PADQ there is no taxiway to the beginning of the runway. Just wondering if there is away to modify it via AFCAD2, etc. Unless this is the way it is?Barry

After installing Active Camera I have noticed that the GPS shows my aircraft off the runway when in reality my plane is sitting right at the runway threshold. Is this related to a problem with active camera? How can this be remedied? Thank you.

Hello simmer friends :)I've just been bitten by the SDB (scenery-download bug) and I have three questions for you gurus on here.1.I understand what a "mesh" is but on some scenery websites they are talking about "landclass" and I dont understand what that means :(2.How does the scenery order-menu work? Am I right in stating that to use your newly downloaded scenery you should simply make sure its sitting *above* the default FS9 scenery area in the list? I uninstalled NAV and installed AVG (as someone mentioned in another post). I picked up about 5 FPS on average.I am going to see what other services can be disabled and look at Ken Salter's Auto Start utility next.Barry
