I have ultimate traffic but the fs9 default ai still show up. Don't really enjoy holding short of GAIA, SOAR or PACIFICA....help! How do I get rid of them?

Just a question after reading the "why don't you fly online" thread:-)

Lately, when I'm on final approach and about to land, ATC tells me to GA without apparant reason. Slope is good, lined up with runway and I was given clearance for landing. Why the GA? Second problem has to do with the new TQ by CH Products. While cruising in the MAAM DC3 with MAP set @ 30-31", one of the engines surges to full power untill I move the throttle stick a little and then reset it. This happens several times during the flight or while still on the ground.Any ideas? Thoughts appreciated.

What are the top 10 sceneries for FS2004 (or 20 if you feel excited on the subject)?I found London and Paris had photorealistic textures and airports with gates.Seattle, New York and LA too. Las Vegas and Hawai were below average and their scenery stinks, especially compared to FS98 Las Vegas photoreal scenery which was nice.I want the next megascenery to be Grand Canyon to Monument Valley, which will replace all that BORING desert texture....... Also, using the photoreal sceneries takes a lot of memory because textures are huge files. I was just wondering, if a video card was made with 5-10 Gb memory, do you think it would help at all? Is there anyway to disable this feature of the plane? They come on during the worse time of my flying.

HI,I have searched this forum for an answer to my questions but I still have not been able to find out the correct answer, can someone help...1- How do I open the Cargo doors? - I have re-assigned the command key to open with " D ", but still it only opens the 2 or 3 main doors. Silly me. Have tweaked something and now in all 2D panels when I use the hat switch left and right on the stick, the view outside the cockpit pans back and forth, i.e. the scenery moves and I see in different directions out the windscreen whereas before I would normally see the left and right side 2D panels. Have re-set (twice) fs9.cfg file under "graphics" the line that says "see self_etc" = 1 but problem still there. Also notice I have two fs9.cfg files (one is text doc). If the Progressive Taxi takes an incorrect path to the runway (ie Runway 29 PADQ), is there anyway to correct it? Via AFCAD2 etc?In this case, the Progressive Taxi ends up at a about a quarter of the way down the runway. If I just manually taxi to the correct place, will I be able to contact the tower?Barry

Was wondering if someone could explain how the cabin window lights work in the textures? The reason I ask is this.....have been using the FFX737-300 for awhile with textures made for FS9 from various airlines. The cabin lights seem to be on all the time at night(looking at a/c from spot view). I needed an American West texture for this a/c and could not find one in any FS9 file library. I did find one in a FS2002 library for this a/c, and it works well, except that the cabin lights are only on when the landing lights are on.Is this controlled in the textures or in the air file or where? Hi.A while back there was a request about how to run another setup, save multiple configurations, before adding and or modifying a specific version, or try to compare 2 setups, before or after medications.These steps should work on any system, at least it worked on all the systems that I am involved with.To run a copy of FS9 from another drive / folder and or have multiple copies at the same time, here is some information that may help. When using GA-Traffic I assigned the airport fees and selected the aircraft that I wanted to show up. Then when I hit the Generate Flightplan button the process begins and a few seconds later the entire program crashes. Happens every time. Any suggestions?

I have a problem. When I start FS9 the program freezes when I enter the Create Flight screen. I've been in the FS.cfg file and deleted the line 'SITUATION' in the 'USERINTERFACE' part of the cfg. I did so because i deleted all my old saved files after reading that it could be those that were causing the freezes when I tried to start FS9 or set up a flight when I start the program. With a 12,7 GB installation of FSsoandso.2005 Mesh my hard disk space was nearing its end. I could have copied some files here and there and enlarge the FS partition but was to lazy to do it.
