Hi,Have been using Lennart's replacement textures since they were released and everything has been fun until a couple of days ago when I tried doing a flight between GCFV-ESSA. When flying in over France after a couple of hours flight, FS9 all of a sudden crached with a black screen for a couple of seconds and then I got a message FS9 needs to close and that Microsoft was "Sorry for the inconvenience"...Tried the flight 3 times and FS9 crashed at alomost the same spot every time. Where could I find a list of the 'easter eggs' within FS2004? The only one I am aware of are the fireworks at Las Vegas.MikeP.S. If there isn't a list, perhaps we could post the ones we know of here.

I've recently been get the message, "Protection Error" after reinstalling FlightDeckSFX for the first time in a while. It used to work flawlessly, however when I go to open its window via Shift + #, the computer freezes completely, or I get a small taskbar window that says Protection Error, then FS closes. I've tried it in multiple aircraft and they all get the same error.Any ideas?Thanks,Jason

Hi Everyone, and I hope its not too late to wish all a happy new year!I'm currently using FSNav, which i am very pleased with and use a lot, but i am also wondering if there are any Flight Planners out there (preferably freeware, but fine with payware) that run externally from FS? Only its sometimes a bit of a hassle to load up the old sim and plot my flight, save it then load up the flight.. I mean that doesnt really happen in the real world, does it :-) So, are there any out there that anyone can recommend that fits this need? I've searched their forums to see if I can use this aircraft with FSNavigator to fly a planned route, and didn't get an answer.Anyone know if you can have FSNavigator fly the flightplan with this Aircraft? If so, HOW??I Flew a flight from CYYZ to KDCA tonight and had to manually change the headings, as FSNavigator wasn't working when I attempted to fly the planned route with it.Thanks.

Hello to all:I have a few questions and hope that I can hear from one of you smart folks with answers. I have downloaded many of Justin Tyme's 38m mesh zips for the US, but have not installed any of them yet to my default FS9 scenery.I plan to install USA ROADS soon.Question 1: Does USA Roads need to be installed over the default FS9 scenery for it to render correctly? .....OR.....Question 2: Can I install Justin's mesh scenery and then install USA Roads with correct results?Hope to hear from you soon....thanks in advanceR/Mike

I'm looking for a replacement for FSNav. I had to do a reinstall a few days ago and have lost my code. No response from support in regards to issuing another key.I really like FSNav because of its simplicity but don't want to buy it again when there may be something better that I don't know about. Out of the blue I have developed a wierd sound issue where when I am on short final my engine sounds become intermittent and staticky. It occurs on all my aircraft and only at this point in flight, taxiing, cruise, takeoff, flying the pattern all have no problems. It seems that once I pass 1000 feet agl of final then the sound problems begin. I haven't had time to dig into this one yet but I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. Up until recently, FS2K4 was working excellent. When I select the Flightplan option from the File menu, the option opens but my system freezes. I can move the move the mouse, but I'm no longer able to select any options (destination, etc). No new software has been installed. Any ideas to what might cause this. Thanks!

Hi,I look for a reliable person to design an airplane for MS flight simulator. The Airplane exists and is based on an Antonov model. We like to be able to give out to customers an add-on for MSFS to be able to fly our airplane. We are looking for quality in the equipment and flight characteristics. Been downloading and visiting this site for around two years. Tried my morning ritual of d/l a few from today's list and I got this message "Error 530... We're busy... try again later"! Never seen this bef"ore. Something new? Anybody else get this?

The FS9 patch 9.1 cured my CTD problems, at least for awhile. Yet several occurred yesterday after I had installed an AFCAD 2 file of KPHX by Richard Mohammed. He has been a very reliable designer of AFCAD files.So after using TTools to spice up AI traffic at KPHX and recompiling, flying out of KPHX at 7000 ft and about 15 miles out the CTD occurred. This was the first CTD since installing the patch, and after using several 3rd party AFCAD 2 files for KORD, KMDW, and KMSP with no problems. Montains, maybe?I've been using KLAS AFCAD 2 for months without a problem.HHmmmmmm.This is a simple, stand alone AFCAD file. Once I removed the modifiedAFCAD file, CTDs stopped.So what …

I am sure many of you use the excellent "GA-Traffic" utility to populate your FS world with realistic GA AI traffic - I do and it's absolutely BRILLIANT (thanks again Markus!).The only problem for me is the LACK of REAL AI friendly GA light aircraft around.There are plenty of AI commercial jets and turboprobs but I am having great difficulty finding any KIT, ULTRA or MICROlight aircraft that convert easily to framerate friendly models in GA-TRAFFIC.By framerate friendly I mean AI aircraft with textures UNDER 1MB when converted using GA-TRAFFIC's built in AI texture converter.Can anyone recommend ultra/microlight aircraft that can successfully be converted to AI textures (…
