Hello,Does anyone know the actual file names of the most current PROSKY Airbus Base Files (All necessary files) for FS9 and the Airbus 330 series?There are so many in the Archive that I cannot seem to find the ones I should get. I need them for a Project Magenta setup. I tried various file downloads from AVSIM and the PROSKY site but I always seem to get the wrong ones (or not enough. Hello everyone,Not too long ago I was playing around with EditVoicePack and during the save process something went awry and it never finished. Me being the genius never made a backup (as per directions) and so now whenever I go to talk to ATC I can only here what the controller and AI aircraft are saying, not what I am saying. I can still see what everyone says in the ATC window, but it would be nice to have my voice back I've already tried restoring to defaults in EditVoicePack and to no avail it stayed the same. I've also tried deleting the FS9.cfg as that also was a let down. Tonight I then tried taking the "usenglishbig.gvp" and its two other corresponding files, "u…

ATC should have and emergency channel for more realism. I took off yesterday and was only about 500 feet above the runway when my engine quit. I circled (cessna 172) and barely made it down safely. I was on the grass but didn't crash. In real life it seems that I would have had to broadcast an emergency landing but fs9 has nothing like that. Maybe there is an addon????Don

Spent the weekend here in icy, slippery Portland upgrading my box. Went from an Athlon 2500+ OCd to 3200+ on an Abit NF7-S with one gig of Samsung 3200 dual channel memory, to an Athlon 64 3500+ on an Asus AV8 Deluxe with the same memory config. I switched the XT800 Platinum and Soundblaster Audigy Gamer I bought three months ago over as well. All I can say is what a difference. Flew from Seattle to Portland in the C310, 10,000 feet with real weather, with FPS pegged at 24. Settings were 60% on the terrain elevation detail, full on texture quality, land effects only, special effects about half the scale, dense scenery, very dense auto gen, extended textures on, 1084 x 10…

I went into the library last night and searched for aircraft with both the above attributes. Many have one or the other, and some are even selectable between both, but I didn't find anything that has both at the same time (I think RFP and the Dreamfleet B727 are the only ones that I know of). Does anyone have any suggestions for an aircraft that has both?Thanks, Bruce.

Hi allI just installed the new scenry by Seev Kahn and it looks great. He has kindly added runway 12 textures and included them in the texture folder for the scenery. For some reason the fuel truck and at least 2 different models of the static GA aircraft are displayed with blank textures. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and if not, do you have any explanation as to why these particular textures arent being displayed. Don

First, FS 2004 takes a long time to load. Long enough to concern me. Where do I start resolving this out? I am using AI Schedule. Within this little gem is a feature that will search out your aircraft folder for missing *.air files and missing texture folders. I have a lot. I am working on fixing these errors now. I am thinking missing texture folders (i.e. not named correctly, etc) would definitely cause a crash as well as the plane not showing up in AI or not at all.Also, I am experiencing CTD's. No error message. The sim shuts down unexpectedly. I am running on a separate hardware profile and running in clean boot mode per microsoft suggestion regarding this …

ABL scripts eventually may be associated with any object in Flight Simulator, ranging from player aircraft to bridges to baggage carts. For now, however, Flight Simulator will only run one instance of a script at any time.Any ideas abou this ?Barry

I am a returning user of MSFS 2004. The old versions would keep me from going nuts during my remote site tours in Saudi. The forums are great but I need to know what do I need to have for the best scenery? I have USA Extreme Landscape by Abacus. So many of the addons I check out will say " You need Nova Gold or you need Lagos" I don't think it is possible to have all of those and I know each person has his own idea of what looks good. Can anyone tell me what will give the most detail for terrain? Would appreciate any advice on this. Thanks

I use FSNAV as my flight planner. As part of it, when navigating between two points, whether a short leg (less than 20 miles); average leg (50 miles) or a long leg (greater than 50) FSNav identifies the magnetic course for that leg.So, since it's mag course, when navigating between two NAVAIDS (VORTAC) that mag course should become the reciprocal of the inbound radial or in other words, the OBS setting with a TO indication is the same as the magnetic course.Why is then, that when I set the mag course as my inbound radial and center the CDI on NAV1 that the moving map of the in-built FS GPS shows me off course and ATC keeps trying to give me an intercept heading? After the release of the taffic toolbox SDK, i got surprised that you can control ai behavior from outside FS, for example set ai plane position; then my mind startet to "fly" and i started to develop something called "F.S. AI Approach Separation". What is this? its an external app that separate "x miles" the ai planes in approach to the airports so you wont get the nasty pack of airliners trying to land on the same time. After several months of develop it's almost done but i'm in a dead end, everything is working good but i cant find the interface to set the ai position like you can do on the traffic toolbox. Thanks Richard for the great rivers throughout the West Virginia Area.Anybody who has not seen Richard's fine work should download Wv-fs9_v01-05.zip and take a peek at rivers that look like rivers.KLWB is my home airport. Just flew the Greenbriar to Elkins, and turned around and flew back to where it flows into the New River. Flew it for a while. This combined with fsgenesis/USA Roads/American Data makes for a new world relative to interior waterways.It's great to have rivers that look like rivers and don't play out in spots. Wish you could do such a great job on the whole world scenery. Have you done other areas that I have just overlooked?Now if I could just find…
