Apparently sloped runways are possible in FS2k2.I was @ the "other site" and read a great article on a Courchevel scenery. It links to another site for a complete download of the scenery.Check it out. Especailly good for bush flying and people who like challenges.Just thought I give you a heads up if you didn't already know about it.

I'm interested because my new Sony VIAO with a 3.2 ghz Pentium 4 runs hotter than our old machine (Celeron 462). Do these new processors run hotter than the older ones? Where would one put additional fans?

Does anyone know what happend to the Eaglesoft forum? It use to have seperate forums for all of it's aircraft, now it only has two general forums. Just curious to find out what all you simmers prefer flying in,i.e the windowed mode where you can see the options on the top or full screen mode a "alt enter" modeinteresting as i saw about a 50%+ frame rate improvement going from Windowed to Full Screen, also the jerkyness reduced considerably,i'm using a Leadtek GForce FX6600 128meg card with the latest drivers, didnt know going from windowed to full screen can give you so much better performance.

Just getting started again, and need a plane I will be able to fly on instruments (and online)....Quality of Flight model is prime to me.Single engine turboprop is what I would really like (and I will pay if no quality freeware is available in this area)....BTW: I tried the default Grand Caravan and was very disappointed in its approach characteristics. Hi. When I go into slew mode, the aircraft goes round and rounderatically until I hit the space bar. Especially when I'm in outside view and use the hat switch to pan. Anyone know how to correct this? Thank you.

Hi,In a long flights like 2 or 3 hours my memory is empty (i have 1 gb).. i have 2 HD C: and D:, D: is where the FS9 is running and i noted that the virtual memory for that HD is "no paging file" only for C:Im wonder if the both HD must have a paging file??TIATunka

I just a got a CH throttle quadrant and have set it up to run directly with out the CH CMS. I see in the FSUIPC manual it explains how to do multiple FS9.CFG files to run different configuration set ups. I want to be able to choose single, twin, three or four engine planes with different configurations for the throttle. Is anyone doing this? Is there a better way to set up different throttle configurations with out having to use the CH software?

at the moment, I have my PSS 747-400 parket at the famous Kai Tak airport in order to train the checker board approach. Lining up rwy 13, my EHSI indicates 170 instead of 130. When I hit shift-Z, MS gives the same read out of 170. But a external flight planner (NAV3) shows the correct heading of 130 in MAP mode. What

HiAll of a sudden, the original default Cessna flight with engines running has reappeared on my startup screen. I've tried saving all sorts of different flights in all sorts of ways as the new default flight, but everytime I start MSFS the original one is there, which gives me 5 minutes resetting all my options, shutting down and restarting as c&d flight.Any ideas?RegardsGraeme

For some reason, whenever I get close to or stay at EDDH, I get a steady and slow memory leak that eventually (after 30 minutes) causes an error message telling me that I am out of memory followed by a CTD.Someone told me that it might be caused by having a texture folder inside a scenery folder - but sofar I have not found any such combo.It is not a general fault - it only happens at the specific airport.I have a P4 Pentium 3.0 with 2 Gigs of Ram and plenty of diskspace.Any ideas anyone? I know I can just avoid flying to Hamburg...but the bug bugs me x( CVJ

Hi folks, I have a little problem and perhaps someone can point me in the right direction of what I can do about it.Strangely there is an area in my FS where the structures at Airports vanish as long as I am on the ground or in a certain vicinity around it. This is particular the case with the Airports Innsbruck, Zell am See and St. Johann in Tirol.I have both the German Airports and the Austrian Airports Version of Innsbruck so I first assumed a conflict, so I tried them both out while the other wasn't installed in the Scenery Library.To no avail.Here is are two screenshots that illustrate the problem during the approach to Innsbruck..Here you see it.http://forums.avsim.…

Good day,I've recently reinstalled FS9 (SP2) on a new PC, and during the process of adding scenery, traffic etc, I've noticed that some of the text displayed on-screen has vanished. Specifically, it is absent in four places:1. AI aircraft labels2. Pause and slew indications - the red bar is present but not the text.3. ATC window has no "X" in the top bar. (Big deal, I know!)4. The information displayed with Shift-Z like FPS and windspeed/direction.5.
