I have a lot of PAI aircraft installed on my system and I had managed to remove them all from the aircraft select list at one point in my life but I can't remember how I did it. Can anyone help me? It seems there was a program I ran which changed a value in all the AI .air files which made them not appear in the drop down on the create a flight screen.Ryan

Hi all, are there payware KDEN's out there or any other airport scenery companies out there? I am already aware of simflyers, which has my framerates around 9 on the ground, and I know FlyTampa makes airports, not sure what there impact is on FPS, and I know of imagesim's KDEN, are there any others out there?Jeff USAF

i just noticed that my deciduous trees are in full bloom in the middle of winter! going back and taking a look at my screenshots i see that this change took place sometime between Jan 30 and Feb 12. i'm also missing my fall trees! i have to believe that i installed something that did this...but i have no idea what. i tinker with my FS practically daily.i've tried re-installing gerrish gray's treesv3 but that didnt change anything. can anyone suggest a way to get my winter and fall trees back?thankschris

I tried to search but i got 1440 hits After i installed the addon i opened up MSFS and when i go to the 2d cockpit all i see out the windows is black, this is on the default as well as the addon panel, is there something to do to fix this?

After upgrading to FS9.1, I had renamed the file FS9.exe and installed the no-CD file with the same name. Reading that this file may not exploit all the enhancements of the FS9.1 patch, tonight I renamed the original one back to fs9.exe and loaded the DVD drice with CD#4. I started OK, but crashed to desktop after initially loading the sim. I've tried renaming fs9.cfg so that new one will be re-built, but no change. Now back with the no-CD version and all's OK.Does anyone know what's happening here? I''d like to reinstall the correct .exe file if possible.Thanks, Bruce.

Has anyone done a comparison of PC Aviator

I have a couple of imaginary airlines I want to assign to aircraft in my fleet. I've put their names in the airlines.cfg folder inside AIRCRAFT but ATC does not say their names. How do I edit things (and what do I edit where) to get ATC to say this assigned imaginary airline call sign?Appreciate help, thanks!JS

I am posting a picture below and perhaps you can notice the jagged lines on the land and runways in the distance. It is more pronounced in the sim than on the picture. I have tried a lot of different things to get rid of them, namely upping my Antialiasing settings. I have an Gefore 6800 graphics card running the latest 66.93 Forceware drivers. My AA is set to 4x and my AF is at 8x. I am running 1280x960 resolution in the game but have tried different resolutions all the way to the max to no avail. I have tried AA 8x and AF 16x and that did not help much. It seems like there is something I am missing. No matter what I do, I can't get rid of the jagged lines. Anyone have a…

Posted in hardware and got no response. I hope to get an ATI X800 video card. For the 2nd card I can't afford another one of those. What would be a good 2nd card? How are frame rates if the 2nd card can't keep up with the 1st? This would be with a left view on the new card and a right view on the 2nd card in 2d mode?JimCYWG

When I download real weather where I live , it often indicates 10 mile visibility.However, in the Sim, flying at say 2000 feet, I cannot see anywhere near 10 miles. I can barely pick up an airport at 6 miles out. We often have clear skies here with a few clouds at around 3ooo feet and 10 miles vis -- but it looks almost like pea soup to me in the Sim.Anybody else noticed this? Any settings need changing??Thanks Barry

Hi, I'd much appreciate any help on this: is it possible to have the water effects in FS2004 look the same as it did in FS2002?I'm not talking about reflections (nor I care about them at this point), but rather about the moving pattern instead.Yes, in FS2002, when you looked at water closely, it showed a pattern of dark blue rounded shapes, moving according to an undulating pattern against a lighter background. I wanted to know if anyone out here is using the SkyDecks CRJ panel with the Wilco/FeelThere CRJ Experience. I know SkyDecks put a cross-config tool out to make their 737NG panel work with PMDG's planes (which I'm using in that combination successfully). My friend Kyle has the Wilco CRJ already, and he told me the default panel is set up pretty true-to-life with the FMC & other bells & whistles. As a screen-shot simmer, that scares me as much as the PMDG panel did! I would like to know how to make any "new" airports I might create, show up on the "nearest airport" listing in ATC. Is there something that must be in the Afcad file - such as a particular Navaide - to make this happen?I don't have any trouble getting them to show on the "select an airport" list and ATC will call them - just need to know what I have to do to get them to show on the "nearest airport" lists.Thanks in advance for any help, advice and/or ideas.David "Opa" MarshallP.S. ok everyone im just looking for some pointers here on movies. i currently recorded a short film of me flying an UH60 Blackhawk. a friend of mine is a retired blackhawk pilot and likes to critique my flight progress. sometimes he is not available for multiplayer mode, so i started making movie clips. is there a good way to convert them over to avi or mpeg. any and all info is helpful, or a link to the thread that covers this if there is one. also i have tried using fraps, but my FPS drops so fast when using that program, anyone have a recommended program that maybe isnt so system demanding. im running on:athalon xp 2200+ 1.8ghz512ddr ramand my vid card is only a s3 prosava…

My FS 9.1 is relativly fresh installed.I like to know which tunings or fixes for the FS 9.1 are a must to have. I have already installed a cloud fix which reduces the texture size and improves frame rates. I have also installed FS Sky World 2004 (Light Fixes, ?: Could it be that the new landing lights from FS 9.1 are overwritten by FS Sky World)..So far, did I miss some very important stuff?Sorry for my english today...greets from germany,Bj

Hi all,If you haven't downloaded the EDDW scenery by Oliver Pabst, you should! This is just incredible freeware scenery. It has a jetway that actually moves to your airplane, fuel trucks, catering trucks, a configuration program, a huge user manual and all the fixings you get in payware scenery. My question is, does anyone know of any other freeware sceneries with this kind of detail? Especially the moving jetways, I was blown away that this was freeware.Jeff USAF
