Hi. I have recently got a problem with my FS9 scenery. In stead of natural curwing borders beetween different types of texture, all sceneries now look like checkerboard. From a distance all edges between texture are almost straight lines. This is rather ugly. I have searched different forums to find an answer to what is causing this, but no luck so far. My computer is a Pentium 4, 2,5 GHz, with 1 GB RAM and Radeon 9700 PRO 128 MB Graphics card with the newest ATI Catalyst drivers. I thought it could be a problem with landclass sceneries, but all my landclass sceneries are for local areas, and my problem is affecting all sceneries, both areas with original FS Scenery and…

I put in the F-16C -v3- lastest package Fighting Falcon Block 3 aircraft. Now i'm new to this military jet stuff and it's my 1st one but i read and looked to see where the glide slope indicator is, the loc comes alive but if your coming in socked in you need a glide slope on a ils runway and now way can i see one when flying manually and even in auto pilot mode it captues it -how i don't know but it hit the ground way before the run way and yes i have the right freq. tuned in - and tried and tried, even the default at Meigs works like it should but as soon as i load up this F-16 no glide slope to be seen, can any body help me out ? Hey there,Ive been using the flightcraft a330 with e.marciano's panel and it was working great up until today. Now when i load the aircraft i get gauge missing errors in the panel displays and it wont load properly. I then tested my a320s and had the same problem. Any ideas what would cause this error so suddenly and an idea how to fix it? The only things i have changed are i updated my graphics driver and did a windows update, but normally that has never caused problemsThanks!Grubby

Hi, I tried posting this in the "GA-Traffic" forum here on AVSIM but did not receive any response. Please be patient - this is a long post.I created an airport using "AFCAD2" by Lee Swordy. I used the program "Rwy12" by Israel Roth and Seev Kahn to place various objects in and around the airport. Everything is where it's supposed to be and the animated objects are working. I made eight parking places that are not obstructed by anything. I created a few AI flightplans using "TTools" by Lee Swordy and the tutorial "Making Flight Plans from Scratch" by John Goodwin. I finally found out the problem to my stuttering: the panels on every aircraft. Is there any solution to solve this???Thanks in advance

Hi!I am sorry for cross-posting this in two separate forums, but I really am hoping to find an answer to this question.I am in the middle of the process of repainting Baunton's Huey into a Swedish Airforce Hkp3. I seem to remember reading a very positive review of this model, written by a real Huey Pilot who gave it a lot of praise for it's realistic flight dynamics. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Hello.When flying in the cockpit and changing views with my joystick (Force FeedBack 2)and I pan to the left or right to view the wings I no longer see the wings. When i go to virtual cockpit and pan to the left or right the wings are there.I have not changed any of the panel cfg files. This problem is the same for FS 2004 default aircraft and any freeware or payware aircraft. I tested my joystick and keyboard and they are working fine..Dont know what the reason..ahhh..Would appreciate any ideas..Thanks..TH

I started reading about Misty Fjords when it first started appearing in this forum, but I had little interest in it mainly because 99% of my flying was at 30,000+ feet on auotpilot. A week or so ago I read a post about Alaska flying, and the next thing I knew, I was downloading Misty Fjords and the Aerosoft Beaver. The last 2 days I have been adding free upgrades to both the Misty Fjords scenery and the Beaver and flying all over the place. Ken, over the years I've watched in admiration (and appreciation) at the way in which you and your colleagues constantly improve and widen the facilities you offer us.May I make a suggestion to make use of the Forums even easier?If I'm typical, which of course I may not be, I have a favourite Forum site that I scroll to each time I log on. Instead of going through that process every time (which I readily acknowledge is no hardship) would it be possible for us to register our favourite Forum once and then after that every time we log on we're automatically taken to that particular Forum?Cliff

I am having the strangest problem with the water rudder not working properly on Steven Grants beaver Amphib. It wont steer when the water rudders are down, and the plane cartwheels and crashes when I try to land on the water. The wheels are up by the way, and I have auto rudder checked in the options. The default cessna amphib and the maule amphib both work fine in the water. Could this be related to it being a FS2002 plane? Is there an update for FS9 available? There are no problems landing at land airports, and it flies really nice. I really love this plane, and would like to get it working on the water. Thanks, Bill

I am doing a clean FS install on a new Laptop and forgot the name of Chris File to eliminate the slugguisness of FS because of cloud density in the default Clouds. I know Chris made one set of new textures shortly after FS came out that solved the problem. Hi, just in case someone wants the FS2002 default water movement effect in FS2004, here is how to do it.(That's something I've been wishing since I first installed FS2004. In my eyes, the FS2002 effect was much better than the FS2004 one, even better than any available add-on).It is just a matter of replacing the 64 water_detail*.bmp files in ..SceneryWorldTexture with those from FS2002.If you don't have FS2002, you can still find the default FS2002 files included for backup reasons in oceanfsx.zip (by Ed Truthan), available here in Avsim library.
