I need some help. I've layed off flying for about a year and now I'm back. I tried to use AITM today and can't get it to work with FS9 at all. I downloaded the updated version (v1.2SP1) and I've searched the forums to no avail. It seems that AITM is looking for FS2002 on my PC and I don't have it. I continue to get errors when attempting to decompile a flight plan as well as the program won't even load a flightplan. I'm stumped. It worked a year ago with FS9.. Any help would be appreciated.

Just installed Misty Fjords and I'm dedicating the entire night (til mid-night at least) to exploring it. I need a great bush plane though. I narrowed it down the the Real Air Scout or FSDs Porter and I'm stuck. I'm sure I'll end up buyng both sooner or later, but I need one of the two for tonight. I'll probably be using the VC since this is my FIRST departure from the big iron and visibility is a big deal here.Maybe even the Beaver???

Hey everbody!Got a big problem that is drivin me nuts!!!! Has anyone had problems with their DGs being off,, i noticed doing a flight from bangkok to haneda in a 777 that on the runways,, my heading indicator is way off the runway heading,, same happened in haneda, so i got curious and got in the default c172 and started moving around to different airports to check the situation. On absolutely every runway my heading indicator is waaaaaaay off.... i can be on runway 22 and my DG says 12, or on 06 and it indicate waay off again,Anyone have any ideas what i can do to fix it! Hey!I hope someone can answer this, cause my questions here uauslly go by without a single answer, hehe. Well my problem is that yesterday i spent several hours installing all airlines that fly to KDEN, i downloaded an afcad for the default KDEN (with airline assignment), and i had even applied the atc_parking_code= on all the planes that i installed, with correct codes. Still i have NO traffic at the airport, except one BA772...I changed to KLAS, and there were alot of traffic, so i dont have a clue on whats the problem! Does anyone know what might be wrong?I tried to use another afcad file too, but nothing changed...Thanks

I finally solved my problem of unwanted audible warnings (don't sink! and Too low!) on the Fokker 70/100 v2.1. Follow the instructions on the Fokker website for eliminating these calls . (Delete the v2 file(s) in your /gauges folder that start with PF10070_WCGPWS)2. Do a search for .wav files with the names dontsink and pullup - I found six, mostly in the FSCOFSound folder.3. Just returning from a short trip, CRJ 145 and Embraer on way back (Delta Comair & Chautauqua).What I really noticed on takeoff roll, and landing, was the audible tire whine - the "spooling up & down" of the tire sounds on the runway - not the chirp of the initial touchdown, but the clear tire / runway sound with the frequency associated with the ground speed.Both flights - up front (1st 4 rows). The tire sound was equal to, or actually, more audible than the engine sounds. Very cool sound - especially on takeoff - as the tire whine "spool up" gives an enormous feeling of speed, vs. the 737 (or large) simple thrust / vibration noise.Has anyone realistically duplica…

Just wanted to get a reaction to suggesting a separate Screen Shots Forum for smaller GA aircraft versus the larger Commercial Jet Airliners. Personally, I tend to browse for the GA variety and would find it helpful to have them in their separate forum. Likewise, you Heavy metal fans might not have to waste your time sorting thru the GA aircraft?

I am hoping someone has an answer for this. I set my weather for user defined weather, let's say heavy precipitation, snow, 2 mile visibility, no wind, with no rate of change. I will have that weather at the departing airport, but at the arrival airport the 2 mile visibility seems to be there, but there is no snow. Is there something I need to do, so the precipitation will be at the arrival airport. Thanks for the help.Andy

I just installed AEU7.0 (upgrade from 6 lite) and have tremendous stutters, the sim takes 5 plus seconds to load textures and stutters for 2 seconds every 10 seconds. AEU 6 Lite works perfectly smooth. I do have a fairly high end machine P4 2.8, ATI 9800 Pro, 1 Gig ram, so should not have problems with this. Any ideas? I am sure it is something in my setup as others with similar machines don't have this issue with AEU. thanks,Mark.

I can't seem to get this utility working. It is installed. There is now a FSC menu option in FS9. I select FSC-->FSCamera and get to the FSCamera 1.5 settings panel (Airport View, Approach View, Fly-By View).However, from there I don't see any changes to FS9. When I click back to the flight simulator all of the views look the same as before launching FSC. I was expecting the Tower View to look different. What am I missing. Is there some set of keys or something like that to trigger the view?I don't know if this matters, but I also have the Flight1 F1View program running (to move around inside in the Virtual Panel). I've recently lost all touchdown smoke upon landing. I'm sure its not because of always greasin' em in either. I wish. Could someone please suggest other areas to check besides the obvious special effects settings in the display section. I've noticed when watching the landing that it seems to want to generate the smoke (the fuselage is blocked out as if smoke were being generated, but its by an invisible effect). I have the fx.touchdown file in the effects folder too. What the......! Thanks, Tom

Hi all!I'm one of those dinosaurs who runs his home computer without being connected to the internet.But, I'm also one who loves the real weather ability of the Flight Simulator.So, I'd absolutely love if someone with a systematic realwx library would upload simple startup flights with one wx-download per day, or something like that. Split up in weeks/moths depending on desired file size.Please let me know if someone can/will take the time to do this. Or would it only have limited interest? I have very modest system (AMD Duron 1GHz, 512MB PC2100 memory, Geforce 2 onboard graphics). I am running FS2002 with what I think are fairly acceptable visuals (around 18+ fps at busy airports, reaching around 30fps in open skies).I still have much to learn about IFR, avionic systems, navigation etc, and am still learning lots about real world flying through flight simming. I mainly fly short hops in the Dreamfleet PA-28, but I also have the Dreamfleet 737 and have enjoyed exploring the complexity of that bird, but don't feel ready to move up to heavy iron.So my question is: should I bother upgrading to FS2004, and would my modest system be underpowered to run it. Can anyone recommend how to backup FS2004 when the size exceeds 10GB? I have a DVD-burner, but its capacity is only 4-5GB. Thanks for any suggestions.

I've got several of the Vistaliner 727s installed and they all work great. But I cannot find a way to activate the main fuselage cargo door on the cargo types. I can activate the airstairs, windows, port cargo door, etc., but not the biggie on the main deck. Is that supposed to be possible? If so, how?Appreciate assistance, thanks!JS

Hi folks. I posted this on the other site but didn't get much reply so I tought I would ask here as well. I have been out sick for about a week now with the flu. Since I had nothing but time I thought I would finally tackly learning how to use TTools202 to add some AI F-16's to some military bases in my area (KDMA and KLUF). After lots of experimenting I finally got the flight plans to work so that I have a steady stream of F-16's to and from these two bases. I also downloaded the afcads so now there is plenty of parking. Everything works fantastic except for the fact that when the F-16's come into land at either base some land perfectly in the middle of the runway and so…
