I was decending through 15000' down to 5000' into San Juan TJSJ and FS9 Crash to Desk Top... I just flew 800nm about from KMIA to TJSJ and did not get to land! Can anyone help me out???? PLEASE!!! Thanks

OK, what slacker requested a watered down Caravan from FeelThere "without the need of reading, learning hundreds of pages of manuals??" We have a watered down Caravan - it came with MSFS. I'm still coming to terms with the canceled Caravan from Aeroworx that I thought was imminent (when did that happen??). Complex turboprops are a rarity in FS and it sure would be nice to have more in the hangar. FeelThere has traditionally done a good job on high fidelity projects so this is somewhat surprising to me. I think they should have polled a larger sample size.David

It's another fantastic work of art from Holger which has reshaped my thoughts as to how MSFS should look! I think I need a real FS expert here. I have FS9 with Active Camera 2.0 installed. Someone online recommended Traffic View Board from Mostrealistic AI. I downloaded and installed it and was trying it out. When I went to load the Dreamfleet Cessna later on Fs instantly crashed to my desktop and went completely out of memory. (Nothing on the taskbar.) Same thing happened again when I retried. I immediately took Traffic View Board out and that seemed to stop the FS crashes. However, when I use Virtual Cockpit now my plane taxi sounds sound like someone pulling the hand on a cash register! I'm not joking here. That's the best way to describe it. I am using an Nvidia GForce 6800GT 256mg AGP video card with driver version 66.93. I have 1 meg of ram and an AMD Athlon XP 3200+ CPU. with an ASUS A7N8x-E MB using updated Bios. Is there a better Driver to use. I set my FPS at 24 . When I fly in VC or 2D the FPS is close to same 9 to 23.I put most all my settings on Med level but I just can't seem to get a higher low end. I even just uninstalled and re-installed FS2004. Before this it was going from 23 FPS to 1 FSP and unbearable. Will an uninstall remove inhanced runway airport textures and landclass scenery(RealScene 2004)?

In an effort to match up aircraft with reasonably accurate panels I find that while I have very little trouble with Boeing panels Airbus panels cause all kinds of havoc. I have only seen 1 message on the bulletin boards that came somewhat close to the problems I am having and that was an error message when loading an aircraft.If I go ahead and load the aircraft I not only lose the sound for that aircraft, I lose all sound in my system. The main culprits seem to be a320.gau and airbus.mA320.gau although I have loaded 1 other Airbus panel that did not contain an error message but still lost all sound.Any Ideas??????Thanks

recently a strange problem has started, the brake button on my joysticks only works once, the brakes work form the keyboard no problem but the joystick button needs the plane reloading to work more than once.anybody else had this problem?cheers

Recently I am getting, in addition to the conventional engine noises, a VERY loud wind whilstling noise that I can`t get rid of. I`ve checked all the usual options but no luck. Its driving me mad and would be more than grateful if anyone can offer a solutionCheersGeorge (rafvr)

Just did a short night flight around Crystal airport and atc cleared me to take-off and land on 32L - a runway not equipped with any lighting! - just looked at airnav.com and it has no lighting in the real world, but atc still had it active at night in FS2004..:-lol

I have just purchased the Quad City Challenger ultralight package (2005) from windrifters.com and installed on my brand new system.For some reason the framerates are terrible when running this addon.FPS is 4-10fps!I get 45-60fps in VC or spot view with any of my other aircraft (I tried various in the same view/situation paused to make sure it WAS the aircraft causing the problem).UPDATE!!!Problem solved. The Readme suggests removing the radio/cd player gauge if it causes system problems.The Radio CD gauge is named wrongly in the readme file. The actual guage name is RADIOCDQ.GAU (not RADIOCD4Q.GAURemove it if you have any fps probs and it should fix the problem.Now gettin…

Just came back from a week Skiing in the Alps. First day for a complete novice resulted in 25 falls , second day 5 falls. I haven't purchased any scenery upgrades for a while, just mesh from FSG and odds and ends to improve default scenery. If you've installed some of this AirPhoto based scenery, what do you think? Would you do it again? I purchased MegaScenery So Cal a couple years ago, and returned it as it looked too out of place versus the default stuff with autogenious installed. Anyway, what do you think now, the stuff looks very good on their site. Also, it the border zone pretty corny, between default and enhanced?Thanks for your opinion.Noel

This might have been asked before however I missed it. Why do some software developers that produce payware software that installs a "uninstall.exe" in the main flightsim directory? I've encountered a problem such as this. It seems that when you install a purchased software and this is done, when installing another it overwrites the earlier "uninstall.exe" and replaces it with the present installed software. Well, you can imagine what eventually happens - each getting replaced by another and if you're not careful on an "uninstall" you can wipe out the wrong software. Any other experiences?Wilbert

Hello..I have just started having this problem. I have small white square patches showing up in my scenery. They show up and disappear constantly as i fly. These white patches are on land and not in the water.Any thoughts or ideas as what might be the problem would be appreciated. Is there a way that i can put FS not as the main program working and keep having the flight running ? Because every time you leave FS running to check a web page or a PDF file the simulation is paused. Is there a way around that ?Thanks AheadOren
