What do you all think of the Boeing 717-200 "The Last Legacy" from the Vans Aircraft Company. I love the 717 and would love to fly it, but I am not too sure about Vans. Anyone have experiences with them? Good/Bad? The new plane looks mighty tempting, and I am thinking I might have to go for it? I am looking to buy either one of these products, and cannot figure out which one would be the best. Without getting into the whole jet v. turboprop debate. I am looking for a good regional plane that models FMS and has good flight dynamics. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Guys,I am using AS2004 but I do not know if it is responsible for what I am experiencing. When I get into turbulence my airplane is always flipped to the right. And this is compeletly regardless of wind direction. I never experienced that I have to fight forces from the left. Maybe this is a problem of FSUIPC....Maybe I am doing something wrong.Alex

Hi AllI am currently looking for either Freeware or a Payware buisness Jet for FS2004.The plane will have to come equiped with the default FS2004 Auto Pilot, and not a FMS. The reason for this choice is that I use Radar Contact almost exculsively with my flights and the co-pilot option with RC will only work with an aircraft equipped with the default A/P.When I was using FS2002 there was a freeware Dassault Falcon, I believe was developed by a Rob YOUNG, which was just perfect.I do not believe this plane is compatible with FS2004.Any suggestions will be appreciated.Take Care:)Kenny G.

Hello,I saw that Abacus just introduced their A380. Did I read that correct, "fly before you buy" and it's only $10. for the download? I'm skeptical of Abacus ever since my last purchase several years ago with "Sky Ranch", this was after several other disappointments with them.I wonder what that little program is they want to install to try other products when you go for the "fly before you buy" deal. I'll let someone else take the first leap. I am curious as to how good it can be for only $10. Maybe they're finally charging what they're worth.Sincerely,Hans Groenewold

The Misty fjords addon seems to have developed something of a cult following with many rave comments in various threads. However, it costs over 60 Australian dollars which makes it quite an expensive addon for a relatively small geograhical area (even it is the size of Switzerland). I already have 38-m mesh of this area and the scenery is indeed impressive and I find that the FSNav flightplans others have provided for the Misty Fjords addon work just fine with this mesh. So what can Misty Fjords add to justify such a large hit to the wallet?There are several addons I am thinking of purchasing at the moment but if I got them all it is going to cost several hundred doll…

is there a way to only shut off the default ai and not the pai aircraft since the default ai mess up the afcad parking at airports

Ciao to all,I'm doing the IVAO world tour 2005 and i noticed that on some airports FSNavigator gives ILS freq for the rwys...When I tune the radio on that freq I don't get the ILS egaged...While on final it gives me nothing the "freq disagree" and finally at 50 feet to touch down I get the ILS working...It happened landing on rwy 07 at LGPR....Any clue..???Please try it and let me know...P.S. I fly with the 737-700 PMDG and on the FMS I don't get the ILS freq...just the hdg...CiaoPaco

I downloaded a Continental Airlines AI Traf. package and now I get duplicate AI aircraft flying one behind the other, along with the ATC chatter that goes to each. Sometimes these are not the same aircraft type, but they have duplicate callsigns. I have had up to three tagets in a row of these "formations" cluttering up enroute and terminal areas. How do I delete an AI Traffic pack?LarkerPent. 3.2 G, 1 G RAM Radeon ATI 9800 Pro128 Meg.

I had to reinstall FS9 due to something causing it to CTD shortly after I would start a flight. I then did a test flight in the FS9 DC-3 from seattle going south. I flew 1.7 hours down into Oregon. When I tried to call up the ATC window to find the nearest airport, I got the text message in the ATC window " No messages to transmit to anyone". I was near at least one airport with a tower. I was able to tune in ATIS and get Wx. What would cause a problem like this? I restarted a flight at Tacoma Narrows and had full ATC working. Very puzzled.

I was wondering if anyone has tried these yet. I am not sure if I should install these or not but, these could possibly be satalite imagery. It is created by Matt Fox and is in the library now. I was wondering if there is night lighting as well. If these are easy to install which I might try to download and read the docs about it. I am very curious. I've seen in a few forums the point made that it is possible to use FS9 textures in FS2002. Is this indeed possible, and if so, what is involved in making this happen? I still use FS2002 from time to time and would like to enhance the experience with the improved FS9 textures if that is possible. Thanks in advance, for your help.Pete in KORD

Hello all. In the most recent issue of Flying Mag there is an extensive article on the Gulfstream 450. Hopefully an add-on with the full glass panel will show up someday.In describing the panel and its huge MFD/PFD displays the article describes how pilots navigate between and within screens.Guess what they use? It's called a CCD and you all have one! My installation of FS2002 Pro has become unstable lately, possibly from too many add-ons. I've tried to uninstall the program from the Start Menu, from Control Panel, even from CD#1. Everytime, my computer freezes after a while and I get a (not responding) message. Can I just delete the entire FS2002 file from Windows Explorer? I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Flying over CYLT at approx 4500ft in Brian Gladdens Volpar when I noticed the runway coming with me!! Staying on the ground,yes, but moving across it as I flew over. I went to Map view and lined up an approach to where it's located and as I tried to land it started to slide away! and I only took off as it moved slower than the plane!!

AT LAST! I have a smooth FS9 with GOOD graphics AND decent frame rates infairly complex scenery, and large airports.
