Is "stuttering" (frame randomly freezes for second or two) in FS2004 related to frame rates? I consistantly get frames rates of 40fps and above, sometimes 70fps to 80 fps, but I still get stuttering. I don't think I can get any higher frame rates. Anyone have any suggestions how else the stuttering can be eliminated?

Is it true that these both cannot work together? Do you know if there are any patches that can link them together? I have most recent versions of both. ThanksBrad

We have all awaited the Level D 767 and this aircraft is very much being held up as the pinnacle of MSFS aircraft development.People in the forum are also claiming this aircraft as an example of how a bug free release should be and there are many claiming this fact.BUT!!! this is not what I am seeing or getting on my system.I take my hats off to the developers as there is potential for this aircraft to be an all time great as with the offerings from PMDG.Hand flown the flight model is excellent and really gives a sensation of flying. Hi Folks,This new program sounds great! I've tried to find it on Avsim by searching on the authors name and then by FS Moving Map and so on, but can't locate it here on Avsim. What am I doing wrong?Please help - I'm lost and I need my Moving Map!

HelloI have Toni Agramont's Caribbean scenerys but have a problem with incorrect placement and elevation of buildings which i think is due to my FsGenesis mesh for this area.Can anyone tell me what mesh these scenerys where based on .I cannot seem to be able to contact Mr Agramont through the email address included in the Readme files.

I've been installing a bunch of add-on sceneries and in the process all of a sudden I no longer have starting points at any of the airports other than the Active Runway.Does anyone know what would have caused this... and better yet, how to fix it...?Thanx in advance.Cheers...

Can anyone give me an idiots guide to using this utility, I only fly locally (South East England), and find the manual confusing for a newbie. I'd like to create my own Pilot voice for local flying with ATC.

Guys,I'm at a total loss here about what to choose. I see that Ultimate Traffic is pretty easy to use, but doesn't have many repaints to choose from. I also see alot of people having problems with FPS on the PAI offerings.I love the quality of the Aardvark stuff, and the repaints are awesome, but (correct me if I'm wrong) I'm intimidated by the fact that you have to set up their stuff manually.Any opinions? I don't mind spending money if the quality is good and the FPS doesn't suffer too much...Thanks in advance for the opinions...

I have just had to format C: drive because of a problem with something else, my FS2004 is on D drive which is a separate HD. In the past when I have had to do this, I have done a total reinstall of FS because of the load of Payware software I have for FS. I am wondering if I could leave the FS install as it was on D, and just reinstall the Payware over the top, then the software will be registered in the new install of the Windows registry, or should I do as before a full FS2004 install again.When I have done whatever, I think I shall use Acronis Disk Director to back up all of C, that way I am thinking that the FS can stay the same on D, and still be registered after the…

I've tried to search for this ocorrence since I remember this exact same issue being discussed here not very long ago but found nothing.I never had this problem before, until today afer instaling the latest PAI china package....I know this message is normal to apear in the first time FS is run after the package instalation, but it's apearing to me everytime I start FS9 without ANY change made to FS...Does anyone has a clue about this issue?What can I do to remedy this situation?P.s: The message is "only" anoying since it apears that no harm has or is being made to FS, once again aparently....Thank you in advance for any information about this problem...

Sorry if these are daft questions but I really like the look of this program. I have a couple of queries - so far! First I have a large number of files for FS Flight Max. The FSMM manual says that these should be *xml files. I've got two files for each of the charts for FSMax - these are *geo and *nos. Do these need conversion in some way to allow them to work with the moving map?My second query is I'd want to use this prog. on a network - can I set it up and simply use Wide FS as I do at the mo' for FSMax or do I need vers 2.8 of FSM?Bud

I have been flying the Flight One ATR and then transistioning to the Feel There ERJ.Both are excellent airplanes. The Flight One ATR model is just outstanding. I can say that it is as real as it gets or as close to real flying for this aircraft as possible on a computer.The Feel There ERJ and other A/C like the Paggio Avanti, im my mind have a hard time "slowing down in descents". I know sim FT ERJ pilots have a procedure established for slowing the A/C down, but is this what real world pilots have to go through to slow down the ERJ? Does the PDMG 737 have the same attributes when it comes to descents? Hard to slow down? Am I just not getting the proper procedure do…

I was wondering if anyone has had an honest mid-air with default AI traffic.What I mean is an honest unexpected mid-air that knocks you out of the sky. Sure I have had AI traffic take-off in front me that I followed and got too close that caused a mid-air crash. I didn't think I was that close but I still got knocked out of the sky.Yesterday I had one of those WOW moments in flight sim west of Chattanooga at 14000 ft heading south. Still after the elusive source of my CTDs. However, I'venot had one since last week. I found and deleted a .bgl filethat had been installed with the Wings of Power bomber paywareadd-on.It never dawned on me that this mod might in fact be a source.I also found a seperate aircraft list, like what TTools uncovers, as well as 30 or so seperate flight plans.All have been deleted.Since that time, I've used the default aircraft list and not addedanymore aircraft. Hey everyone,I have been flying the FSD T-38 Talon with the Thunderbird repaint and I am just loving it. It's only drawback is it's great contrails cost it the use of the I key which activates the smoke.Has anyone found out how to deactivate these trails and revert it back to the standard smoke trail with the I key?I did get it to emit one center smoke trail with the I key but the smoke is also coming on when the contrails should be.Any suggestions?Thanks,Tom

WOW guys isnt she a beauty..My First Flight CYYZ - KMIASecond Flight KLAX-PHNL, Just a wonderful flight... Really immersive, Bad weather at PHNL, but it improved about half way there so I jettisioned the extra fuel to be in weight for landing.Thired Flight EGKK - LFMN, cant see why a 767 would be used on a short flight like this, but I beleive it is an actuall BA Route..Jason

Hi, I need your help!I've just got a new system but have a problem with the way the ATC window is displayed. It's blurry and I can't read a thing. The same goes for the red message that says that the brakes are one - it just doesn't look right. Everything else just perfect.My graphics card is the Sapphire Radeon X800 with the latest drivers. 767 owners,lately, some new technology, and aspects of old ones have resulted in totally fluid vc's. Two fighters you all know about has two different approaches: The RealAir Spitfire and ** Mustang. The Spitfire use new technology with all the essencial gauges merged into the model instead of just gauge entries in the panel.cfg. The Mustang has solved it by reducing the number of vc windows to one. Even the DSB vc gauges runs with the same framerate as the sim, due to the single vc window (pity about the cheap interior looks, could have been a nice plane with decent interior).Either of these approaches will eventually find it's way into commuters and airliners i guess. …
