I know that the download version of PMDG 737NG 800/900 requires the737NG 600/700 product. But I think I have read that it's different with the boxed 800/900 version. Is this correct or am I mistaken? If correct what would I miss by not buying orginal 600/700?How do the 600/700 plane differ from the 800/900?What kind of printed documentation is included in the boxed versions of these products and what documentation is only in the form of files on the CD?

I have a bit of an odd problem here. Whenver I fly anywhere, there will be two of the same aircraft flying to the same destination, like if its Air Canada 333, two minutes another Air Canada 333 will ask clearance to leave and go the same destination. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is? I mean I installed them using the PAI installer and only have used there official packages and normally only use there official AFCAD files. Some assistance here would be appreciated.

This is the only modeled aircraft that I have found to be beliveable. By that I mean the sensation of actually flying. In every other one I have tried there are usually somethings that you just have to ignore and slip further into delusion. The Spitfire lands and takes-foof in a believeable fashion. No shooting star effect on takeoff or odd modeling of the ground effect when landing. In addition to these factors this aircraft has a nose. For me this makes it a bit more real and enhances the feel of the craft. Many airplanes offer countable rivets, opening doors, glossy reflections, etc. But I have seen none that offer such a good simluation of flight, which after-all is wh…

I have been flying Fsim for some years now - mostly GA tricycle a/c - and have pretty much perfected my landings . However, I have lately been enoying the Airhead Super Decathlon and have had to completely change my landing "style" to take into account the fact that it is a taildragger and you must land with as little airspeed as possible to prevent bouncing .This has led me to think about my landing style in the GA tricycles - and although I am landing securely each time, I wonder if I am really doing it correctly. What degrees of pitch on final do people use - I guess it varies from a/c to a/c - but for example, do you come down the final glideslope with a couple of deg…

I started a post regarding the LD-767 Stutter/memory leak issue and I was making an accusation that was unfounded.I thought that 2 of my post on the LDS website were deleted and under further examination they were not.I failed to look at the drop down under "search in" and select username to find my post ,I was looking at message body as a criteria under my username.I do apologize to LD and its users if you were under the impression I was bashing them. The plane is a pleasure to fly and own and I truly understand that most complex releases have growing pains.ThanksAndy

Twice a week we are working with the assembly of the simulator, you can see some pictures here http://home.no.net/dcsim/montering.htmAt the moment we are connecting the cables to the computers. It is a big project, and hopefully the simulator will be flyable this spring!Magnus WennevoldNordic Simulator Centerhttp://home.no.net/dcsimuk/http://home.no.net/dcsim/Oslo/Norway

I have DF727,ERJ-PIC,PMDG all models,FTCRJ, and even Lago's MADDOG with Jet City Liveries and I get smooth performance in default and addon airports.I am also using AS4.5 and after several flts from KLAX Simflyers to FT KSFO I am getting very bad stutters towards the end of my flight. From taxi and t/o at KLAX the LD767 runs smooth even at crz very smooth with weather.Stutters start as I get approach runway info and start my descent and progarm the FMC for ARR runway.I have no issues with any other addon as far as stutters even Lago's MD is better LOL.There is in my opinion a memory leak with the FMC as a function of time in flight.I took off last night form KSFO in overca…

I've recently started using a program called ACLoader for calculating loads for the aircraft prior to flight.I've noticed that when I don't have a large number of passengers, it loads quite alot of cargo into the holds, as well as the passengers baggage.I was wondering if this was practiced in reality, and if so, what type of cargo would be loaded. Would it be the same type of stuff flown in dedicated cargo flights, or is it stuff specially kept for filling the space in the holds on a commercial flight? Thanks for any info provided.-Phil

The fantastic Dynamic weather system based on realistic atmospheric physics, with true three-dimensional clouds that form and dissipate, and automatic real-world weather updates when you're connected to the Internet does not work.Any solutions? The weather loads only to 77% an then crashes the FS9!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/108527.jpgAbove the only real world weather allowed today. Then the FS9 crashed.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/108528.jpg

Just ordered a new Dell today to replace my 7 month old Dell that I bought thinking that I was not going to get into MSFS again. Big mistake!!. So now I m getting a excellent processor and PCI express, fast ram, the whole 9 yards. Now the big quuestion, before the PC gets here next week , is how do I transfer my FS9 to the new machine. I have a bunch of payware addons, and aircraft, as well as scenery. I was at Best Buys today and saw a program called PC Relocater Ultra, and it claims that it will transfer the program over automatically. Does this sound like it would work, or do I have to reinstall everything one piece at a time ( hoping that I can remember where the …

This scenery is really nice! I had it in FS2002 and have now installed it in FS2004. Although I have turned my default traffic down to 1% per the instructions, I have not heard any activity from the AI aircraft around the airport (CYQT). Maybe I need to wait a longer time. When is a good time to set the simulator to pick up activity? Thanks!Airbus

I used to use the Grabowski ERJ panel and the planes from Project ERJ (is that the correct name? Anyhow, you know which one I mean). Now I've seen quite a bit of news about the Feelthere ERJ 145 PIC - is it that much better? Really worth it? I really like sophisticated add-on planes (PSS, PMDG, will try Level D today or tomorrow...), so is this worth it? It's not for the money, I was just wondering how big the difference was. Thanks for any thoughts.Chris

I am still having problems with this. Sometimes things are fine, and I get pretty smooth textures way into the distanc: compare the two screenshots (if you have the time and inclination!) both on the same flight across Russia. It's obvious where the problem is! I have tried changing values in the FS9.cfg file, as described in no end of various posts in this forum, but I easily get blue 'tears' in the texture if I change values very much. Anyone any other ideas? I am sure that I shouldn't get those triangles quite so close up to the plane. Thanks in advance.Martinhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/mart...t/DrawingOK.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/mart...wingPr…

Hi Guy's.anyone know where I can get some help/extra info on this plane,I just found it again, and I have installed it on my machine, but I can't remember everything and the cockpit guide is somewhat vague, especially when it comes to the FMC etc, does anyone know if it's possible to import FS Nav flight plans into it at all.thanks for any help.PS I did try the manufacturers web site, but the CRJ forum is now locked, and I couldn't really find any helpful info from the FAQ page.
