Does anyone know how I can access the 40 repaints advertised on the Captain Sim website? I see a few are uploaded here at Avsim, but I would think there to be a lot more. It is a pretty cool plane, and it would be nice to fly in as many colors as possible.Thank you for the tips.Kevin

What freeware a/c have some form of flight damage modelling incorporated into them? I know that the YS-11 has some basic modelling and now it seems that the Sea Hurricane does as well.How is this done ? Is it a gauge that "causes the problems" if you don't adhere to the correct flight parameters?Barry

in a right hand turn in taxing.... I have tried every thing to stop this but nothing helps... It does not always happen... I have all USB hardware and and FSUIPC which I use with the rudder... I have deleted and added the rudder in various cfg's in the FS2004 options it's self but nothing helps... The next time it may or not work right.... Any ideas????Ron

I am having the same problem that a few others are having. Where I start my kneeboard and try scrolling or doing anything with my kneeboard and It crashes to black. Does anyone have answers foer this problem. The weidest thing is that these problems just started happening with us. I mean everything was fine a few days ago.I have tried everything that the others have tried, replaceing cfg file and I even updated my direct x. Having spent some time with the LDS 767 and sorted out some issues i was having (mainly my own making :-)I now have an absolutely stunning aircraft which is not only fluid and smooth framerate wise but a totally realistic feeling experience.I fly citations real world and my latest the citation Bravo has an FMC with Primus 1000.It is a system which seems the norm nowadays and even in the Bravo it is strange placing in a hold and seeing the aircraft trundle around the holding pattern.Many features now take away the piloting element.The Pilots just being systems monitors devoid of their skills.With the Bravo we would often say to #### with all that auto rubbish tune in the f…

Newbie needs help with this program. It seems that ScanAFD cannot locate my addon scenery directory in the scenery.cfg file. I checked and found the directory is there so how can I get this program to locate it?TIA

Hi there, I'm looking to contact Mike Pearson, as I've made a repaint using one of his paints as the basis. Therefore, I'd like to secure his permission, before I consider sharing it with others.Small problem though: he's not got any email contact listed in any of his repaint files, I guess his inbox was always too full!Sooo...does anyone have regular contact with him, to pass along my request? I downloaded the Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer. At the moment I'mover the atlantic ocean. The plane suddenly starts to swing to leftand right. This goes on for half an hour and then stops. The weather is fine (I'm using FS2004 Real Weather), no strong winds or turbulence. Both boom tanks contain the same amount of fuel, so Ithink the aircraft's weight is balanced.Anyone know a solution?Eric

Everything was going fine till I installed the Level D B767. Fs9 has been crashing just after I select "Fly Now" and the sim begins to load weather traffic etc. I've been getting the following error message (see the screenshot). The strange thing is, I have 53 gig left on the hard drive, and 640 meg of RAM, and this occurs after a clean boot, no background programs save for explorer, and my DSL connection running ( I use ENDITALL). The other odd thing is that the detail message says it was an error in the FACILITIES.DLL module. After I uninstall and reinstall FS9, the problem disappears, then eventually returns. This has happened about three or four times thusfar. Anyone have any ideas why? Could it be an aberrant AFCAD file? Is it…

Whilst I like FS9, it has not been kind to me. I'm a multi-mon user, and the provision made in the sim for this use has caused no end of problems. Most I've been able to solve, but this latest has me scratching mi' head. I have a reasonable system - Pent 4, 3.2; run my main mons with a nVid 6600GT and the sec. monitor with an FX5200. I've got a gig of DDRAM, fast HD etc etc. and, by and large, can run at around 20/25 fps in most conditions with all monitors on and populated altho' I didn't often check the fps. If the sim is running smoothly, that's fine by me, whatever the fps are.That's changed lately when I noticed that when I reach my destination airport, things hav…

Hello, I did a search on this forum and found an interesting thread about pasting text into the electronic kneeboard in FS2K4. There was a link that had a file that provided this capability. The link however has expired. Does anyone out there have a file that allows text to be pasted from the clipboard into the FS2K4 kneeboard? Robert Williamson

Hello everyone,I have Eric Marciano's A320 and A330 panels installed and they were working fine. I hadn't used them for a while and now they are inoperable. I wondering if anyone else has this problem and/or it is possible that other files can interfere with gauge files. I did look in the gauge folder to see that they were still there and they are. Hi guys,the previous week I have updated my FS to the 9.1 version and DirectX to 9.0c version. For some little problems I decided to uninstall 9.0c and come back to 9.0b. How? Coming back to a previous configuration point of Windows (sorry but i really don't know the english terms :-shy ).Today I'm flying over the Alps and... SBUM! Another CTD like with the 9.0 version.I check the FS9 version (in the Help menu, in the Windows register and with the FS9.exe icon) and in fact I read always 9.0.
