Is there any good payware scenery for the South Florida area? I wiant to get something more than just one airport, for VFR flying.

I took a scenic flight around Cairo, Egypt. I found out that the pyramids are missing. I know for a fact that FS2002 had the pyramids and the sphynx, but I do not recall if FS2004 has them too.Could somebody tell me if FS2004 has the pyramids scenery. If so, could you tell me the location and names of the BGL files.Thanks.Abe

A question to Paul, Scott, and Andre, regarding the Shrike Commander (I looked over at Flightsim Online, but did not see a way to contact you):I noticed the Shrike Commander is turbocharged (actually, it seems turbo-normalized), but I find no references to that aircraft ever having turbochargers (indeed, the engines are IO-540', and not TIO-540's).I was curious as to why this was done...is it a specific aircraft you modeled? Was Hoover's Shrike turbocharged? (No performance listing says it was).This is such a great aircraft and I'm flying it more than any other right now...so I just got a little curious.Hope you see this, and can take a moment to answer. Hello.I'm wondering if someone can help me out with a question regarding Jan Martin's jtacof version 10 Jetways & Terminals update. I have contacted Mr. Martin but have not received a response.The question I have is specifically regarding the tower location update at KSAN. Supposedly this is what was updated for that airport in this latest package. The problem is, I can't get things to work correctly.The only thing I want to install from Mr. Martin's latest version is the tower update for KSAN. The other items in this package I don't want at this time. According to the documentation this shouldn't be a problem.There is only one file in this package (according to …

Im using the 757 vc and some of the guages are grey or clear background.... is there a fix out there i can download for this or did i do something wrong??? (probably the latter) THanks for your helpKris

I was making an ILS approach to 08R at Gatwick (EGKK) in the stock C172 with the autopilot engaged and approach selected. I forgot to switch the autopilot off (distracted by the cat!) and the aircraft flared out and made a perfect landing - practically zero vertical speed at touch down.I flew it a few more times and noticed that just before touchdown the glide slope needle rose almost to the top just before the signal was lost. That must have been enough to cause a near perfect flare out.I guess this effect must be very dependent on aircraft type and the location if the ILS?Anyone noticed this elsewhere?

I have a copy of FS Hot FX on my old PC and trying to install it on my new one, it says my code is invalid. I posted on their web site support and sent them a couple of emails and no response. I also noticed some posts on their forum , on the same question that were posted weeks ago, and remain unanswered. Has anyone know if they are still in operation or not?

I use the Lonny payne panel with the 767 becasue lets face it, its the best out there, though I do like the heigh call outs, and flaps and gear, so if I have this problem with panels I just delete the sound files and it works just fine. So I did this with Lonny's panel and now when the sound file is supposed to be used I here the XP Default Beep Sound, which is really annoying so can anyone help me out here but besides telling me to restor e the sound files and to live with it.

Hey everyone,Well, after about 12 hours of tinkering I was able to get the FSD T-38 Talon to display air show smoke at the expense of the contrails.I personally feel the T-38 is the coolest plane in Thunderbird trim that they have flown. This was accomplished with a little aircraft .cgf editing and the movement of some files here and there.My goal is to do formation flying with others in this Thunderbird configuration. I pretty much downloaded all the files available in the AVSIM library on the FSD T-38 and went from there.Is anyone out there interested in doing this?Let me know. Thunderbird 1 is on the runway with "smoke on" ready to go. Tom

Wow, just noticed this on their site. They are updating the SF260 to Spitfire standards. Thats right, new VC guages, stall buffeting effects and realview! Super super sweet. :)

Hello Forum,I really need some help on this one.I just did a re-install on my FS2004 and was going through the chore of downloading and re-installing airplanes and programs, when I noticed that I have no Navaids and very few airports. Arkansas lists just 3 airports in the whole state and 6 in Louisiana. Most of the states I checked were like that. According to my "Flight Planner" there are only 156 Airports in the entire US!The "Flight Planner" will not permit anything except a "GPS Direct" flight, mainly because there are no navaids showing either.When I pull up the map, the shape is fine, including the mountains, but no cities, no navaids of any kind and no airports. Will the Innsbruck (LOWI) Landclass for FS2002 that is in the AVSIM Library work with FS2004? IF not, is there a good landclass for this region?I have the SRTM data, some library add-on scenery for the airport and I am buying the textures from FScene. I may buy some scenery for the airport.If you know where to find a good landclass for the Inssubruck Valley, or if you know the 'proper' name for the Valley, please post it here.
