What are the differences between Wideview and WideFS? Between the two pieces of software does one program support more monitors and/or more processors than the other?Thank youTom

Hi Guys,I've been a pilot for years and finally decided to check out fs2004. Not bad , all in all.. but did anyone notice how Bill Gates has Seattle done up a lot better than the other cities, ha ha? Anyway,.. on to the question(s):I'm still trying to figure things out with files in this sim and I'm not a puter geek so please reply like you're explaining to a real dumbass. I have managed to add a few planes to my livery , and if they came with several bundled skin textures (paintschemes), no problem. Also I figured out with panel files to overwrite the default panel folder and copy the guages from the panel download to the root FS guages file. Here's where I get stuck...…

Just started using FS9 and have a brake problem - the Brake(s)won't release. I have CHProducts USB Yoke and pedals. I tried deletingthe "x" and "y" axis of the rudder pedals.....but no luck. Is this a glitch rendering the pedal brakes useless, or could there be a workaround somewhere? Any advice would be much appreciated...Thanks, Bill.

How do you guys who fly airliners navigate your flights? By this I mean, do you do a FS Flight Plan, GPS direct, using J airways... etc? I am trying to learn how to do more realistic navigation.

Hi again. I have tried to apply an AFCAD file to the KJFK airport, the problem is that the AFCAD file isn't aligned with the airport. I mean, the airplanes appear inside buildings or parked in the taxiway or another area. I don't know what's the problem. when I restore the airport to the original one everything fixes. Do I need another file with the AFCAD one?? Is there an AFCAD file aligned with the airport?? What are the solutions to these problems?? please help, thanx.

check this out guys. Recently everytime i start a flight, the first part of the flight will go fine, until about climb or cruise then my frame rates will drop to as low as 1.9 and not because of where i am flying. it;s really weird from 30-1 for no reason.Get Back At Me If U Know What's going on.

Hello pilots,I am a little bit shocked. Since two hours my FS9.1 is not running anymore. I just installed a AFCAD file for YSSY and the Level-D 767 Qantas liverie from the Level D homepage.The error message is below. Hi all, Did a search for Lake Havasu scenery, also checked Heather's awesome site, but couldn't find any for either FS2002 or 2004. I'm not sure if it's something I did by installing all kinds of meshes (whatever those are), but I noticed that Lake Havasu City is not there, only the airport exists in FS. So I was wondering if there is supposed to be some generic default city there or not? I would have to guess no, because Laughlin and Bullhead City are there. Anyway, does anyone know of any Lake Havasu City scenery files that are somewhere out there hidden from the main sim sites? I have posted on this subject before, but didn't get a satisfactory answer: but I saw it again last night and it drives me nuts.Occasionally, I see parked AI aircraft tip nose down, tail up and disappear completely into the ground like a duck diving into a pond.This happens at different airports and when I'm flying different types. It happens immediately on arriving at the airport from the "Create Flight" menu or when altering the AI percentage so that the AI scenery is refreshed. It's too quick to say what type of aircraft, but I can say that it is always a smallish, rear engined, high tail commuter jet airliner - a CRJ, Fokker 70/100 or an ERJ, something like that. The…

When I load a vor freq into NAV1 and assign a course to hold to the VOR, the aircraft keeps swerving back and forth trying to intercept the course, and keep turning past it and then turning back just to go by it again? This is with the NAV hold on autopilot on.Is this a glitch or what?

Good day everybody. I hope I'm posting this in the right place.Most of you know me by my numerous repaints over the last few years. Well, amongst other things, collecting scenery files for MSFS has become another hobby all unto itself. I initially tried to help my fellow flight-simmers with this data I've collected by uploading periodical scenery directory catalogs. However, the problem with this turned out to be large file sizes and the fact that within a few weeks, any such directories were soon out of date.Well, no more. Anybody else having problems with the Level D forums today? Haven't been able to pull up the forums today at all.

Another dumb question probably.Do the Microsoft Flight Sim development people ever read our posts here or respond to them at all. Surely they know we are here, but you would think that these people would be active in this community. I ask this because a lot of people here have a lot of good ideas about how to improve MSFS. I would hate to think that all of our comments about their product are being ignored. I mean they must know how popular MSFS is and what needs to be worked on. Hello,I seem to have lost my morse ident sound on all of my aircrafts.Must have without knowledge deleted the applicable file somehow.Was wondering if this has happened to anybody else, and if so, how would I go about corecting this. What is the filename and is it possibleto retrieve from the fs9 cd's.It was working fine until just recentely, now its all quite when I navigate using vor's, etc.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks, Helmut
