Hi folks.I experience follwing problem:On any ILS approach, just at about 500 ft ASL I switch off the autoland and handfly the bird down to the threshold. But just beforetouchdown I got a strange behaviour of the trim and the plane suddenly banks strongly to the right side and also drops heavily on sinkrate. I usually can manage to save the bird from crashing, but I think that there is something wrong. It happens with the 737-700 from PMDG as well as with the 767 from Flight one.I am also running Active Sky, Ultimate Traffic and FS Navigator.I have FSUPIC 3.47 installed (and already tried to fly with a cancelled FSUPI.ini file).Where is the bug? Anyone encountered the same…

"(...) VA posts are now allowed in the MSFS forum. Please post them in the VA related forums (...)"What the heck is it, Tom? Are they now allowed in the MSFS forum, or should they now be posted in the VA related forums? Be well!Jaap Verduijn.

Hello Avsimmers :)My appetite for pretty G-MAXED add-on airport scenery has increased after grabbing many of the excellent freeware from this site and I was just wondering:Is there a CD or DVD out there for FS2004 that gives the upgrade treatment to all the major US & world airports? TY :)

I'm not at all happy with the default tripple panel, and I'm curious about which ones you are using. I saw a screenshot of a really nice panel, have no idea if it's freeware or payware, but it was outstanding...but there was virtually no information for me to follow up on. And no, I've not seen it in the library here either. http://www.simairline.net/screenshots/1223.jpgAnyway, I'm curious about which panel you are using for the Boeing 777

I have looked and looked in this and other forums and just can't seem to find the help that will address my problem. I don't have any haze, which I want because it looks so much more real and I have a problem with the scenery just being cut off wherever the vis is set at. There is not slow decrease in vis. If the current weather says that the vis is three miles, everything is perfectly clear to three miles and then the scenry is just not drawn past that point. Whats up? I have gone to the considerable trouble and expense of getting ActiveSky, Bluesphere and Fuipc. No help from those programs for this problem, although I do like them for all the other things they impr…

My hat is off to the folks who developed the 154, what a superb aircraft. I have one major gripe right now. I really dont want to learn how to put the panel together. Its very tedious and I just want to jump in and enjoy the model. Does anyone know of a decent, basic panel for this beauty that will allow me to do the old CTRL E thing and get going? While marvelous, the manual is 150 pages long and I just dont need to read it. Yeah Im a lazy SOB but its just not my cup of tea. I would like a semi accurate looking Russian panel though.Hornit

I just read about all the things that can go wrong after installing the FS9 patch. The only add-on I have is the PMDG Beech1900. I think I made a change to thet .cfg file --adding code to make it possible to pan in 2D mode (which didn't work anyway) but can't find it now.Does anyone with experience in downloading the patch have any suggestions...Many thanks,Bill

As many of you know, I've been plagued with a series of CTDs (post patch) that intially seemed to be triggered by the introduction of an AFCAD2 file. While that possibility still exists, it's beginning to seem like there could be other causes to the CTDs. Perhaps a bad texture file or .cfg or air file? A bad model?I've been using FS9 for about 8 months, so I missed the openning research and solutions for problems when FS9 was new.Woul you all consider listing any known causes of instability and the solutions?I might be able to more quickly identify what is causing my baffling series of CTDs, and to get back to enjoying the skies again. Thanks Folks!!!Rick (KMKE)

Hi all,I'm looking for a reccomendation for my next aircraft. For the last several months I have almost exclusively flying Flight1's C441. I would like to take the next step for a more complete simming expirience.I would like an aircraft that night fly alittle higher, maybe a little faster. I want one that simulates most systems of the aircraft as I am trying to understand then and use them.I own Flight1's ATR-72, but it seems as though I'm still in over my head for that one.Is there an aircraft that would be the next logical step? Thanks,Robert

I would like to be able to use FS9 for some specialized instrument rating practice in my home area (Denver), with full names for VOR's and intersections, and even some local ATC procedures that are unique to this area (as has every area, I'm sure). How does one do highly customized ATC for a limited audience (instrument students)? I've cross-posted this in the VATSIM area in case there is some way that a "private session" can be utilized with their technology. I can recall the old days of APL adventure programming (which I did quite a bit of and enjoyed it- my only "programming" experience to date :) ). While archaic, and I assume no longer available for use in FS9; …

hello,Im usin lonny payne's panel with the new POSKY 767. I did a search for this issue and havent seen anything posted on it before. While flying along, i notice that the main altimeter and the standby altimeter are off by about 500 feet. The VSI is pretty inaccurate, if i set climb at 2200ft/min, the guage will read something around 3000ft/min. And the last thing i found. While navigating using a GPS flightplan, with the HSI in map mode, i can see my route on the display however im flying a completely different heading. Out of curiosity i brought up my gps and it said i was on course. But according the the HSI map display i should be flying 20 degrees to the left to mai…

It has been a great day for fans of RealAir's work.I just saw there is a small update for the Spitfire. Based on the Readme, there was very little to fix, but the update is appreciated and shows RealAir's commitment to excellence. Then of course the news that the SF260, one of my favorite FS aircraft, is having it's gauges updated to the Spitfire's standards. Finally, the T-45 Goshawk is being worked on for a fall release. It is to use the new guage technology and RealView as well. I really am looking forward to it as every RealAir release has been excellent. It has been a great afternoon of news!Tony

Hi Guys,I am wondering if I have something not set quite right. I really like the Active camera Pilots internal view option as I operate my aircraft, however, I also sometime like to see the aircraft in the flightsim default spot view. As I cycle the S button to the spot view, my spot view of the aircraft is very jerky and unusable until I deactivate the Active Camera pilots internal view which is a pain to do while operating the aircraft. Has anyone else seen this condition and was there something that you did to get your spot view back to a smooth picture while your active camera still had your pilots internal view checked? Thanks for any and all inputFly safeDave in Ala…

Hey everyone,I installed shez' KSNA and its a great scenery i just cant get my traffic to park in front of the gates. I installed the Scenery, then the patch, then the ground texture fix. I installed Edward Cox' afcad and tried a few others as well. Every time it seems the aircraft want to park way down by the GA traffic and the few that do park at the terminal are half in it! anyone have any clue how to fix this????Thanks in advance!Kris

First, I have to say the Dream Fleet A36 is awesome for all the reasons posted elsewhere in this forum! I also have to explain that I am not asking this question on the Flight1 forum because for some reason I can never get my new password emailed to me (I think my email system may bounce it back). My question, though, is regarding the service ceiling. I live and fly in Colorado and I really looked forward to this sporty machine as a way to get around the high peaks. I find I have difficulty getting it much above 13000 feet and at cruise at that level I get maybe 120kts IAS, leaning very aggressively using EGT as a monitor, and with no more than 30% fuel and flying on a co…

My frame rates are great, but about once a second, it jerks. Its quite annoying. I have a 9800 Pro, Athlon 64 3000+, 1Gb Pc3200.I cant seem to make it go awayOk I figured it out, it was that I had to lock my FPS around 30, instead of unlimited.Wow this 2004 is so much better than 02!

Can anyone help with this problem? Since reloading FS9 onto a complete reinstallation on my PC when I select the Flight 1 Dreamfleet 727, FS9 always gives me an instant CTD! Anyone else seen this?Kev
