Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on which 767 aircraft model is best?POSKY 767 or Level-D? If the former then is it possible to use the Level-D panel etc. with the POSKY767?Regards,Stuart Hyett

There is such a plethora of FS2004 Add-on scenery today, my head is spinning like a freakin' gyroscope when faced with the daunting task of trying to choose. What do all of you recommend?FS Terrain ?FS Global 2005 ?FScene ?RealScene 2004 ?USA Extreme landscapes ?I've been flying FS since the original Bruce Artwick design. Probably this question has been asked more than once, but I could not find anything through the search option. So here it is (again):Is it possible to assign a simple keystroke like 1 or 2, as used in the communication with ATC, to the joystick? I hate it to have to use the keyboard for something like confirming flight directions when I am very busy flying. And another: anobody knows of a way to assign the mouse wheel function (as in Active Camera) to a joystick wheel (I use a Saitek 45)? Herrie

I'm having a rather strange problem with the autopilot in the default 737. The problem has only begun to appear recently, but when I switch to any view other than the straight-ahead 2D panel view, the autopilot altitude hold fails. All other autopilot functions appear to work, as well as the autothrottle, but if the plane is climbing it will begin to increase pitch up, and if desceding of level increase pitch down, to the point where the aircraft either stalls or overspeeds. Returning to the straight-ahead 2D panel view causes the aircraft to return to the correct pitch. This happens with the default panel, as well as several freeware addons. I'd like a simple, if possible, remedy to this and to that end have visited Project AI many times and combed these forum pages looking for an answer. Project AI leaves me baffeled. Somewhere along the line, I have picked up a sound cycle in the spot and tower views only when simulation is outside of the plane. This is something new that over the years I have never noticed before. I do not hear this sound when I am on the ground before becoming airborne. Once in the air and at cruise, there is a cycle which somewhat pulsates. I have used FSMeteo for some years with great satisfaction and was happy to see that several posts acknowledge reception of a new version for we who purchased the previous upgrade suitable for FS9. Lately my aircraft lights are behaving weird. On most planes I can not get my Logo light to turn off. On my pss planes i can not get any nav , strobe light to turn on but i cant get my logo light to turn off. This will be a simple question for you guns out there...In short, I'm having numerous "issues" with my FS9, and not being PC-savvy, have decided to do a full uninstall, and start over.My question is - I have a few add-ons, namely:ActiveSkyPMDG 737F1 ATRUltimate TrafficShould I remove/delete these prior to my uninstall of FS9, then install FS9 and re-install all the add-on's, or shall I just leave them as they are on my PC, do the FS9 thing, and try to find exe. Is anyone else bugged by the fact that Ariane is now advertising their rather tardy entrance into the realm of photorealism (several years late, if I may add)? Really, I am just posting this to make sure that nobody is fooled; what we have here is nothing but a semi-photorealistic aircraft, the same old model they keep re-selling to people over and over. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether there is a freeware scenery for EGKK London Gatwick that works well with FS9. I found one, or rather two similar versions, from the same author for FS2002, it works and I like the added buildings, and it would be worth making a suitable AfCad file for it, but it has a few problems with FS9, as it adds taxiway signs which also happen to be on the taxiways instead of the grass. Also the later of the 2 versions adds a fictitious taxiway between the old and new runways that is not covered properly by the runways so from that point of view the older version is better. Some time ago back in the days of FS98 I used an aircraft list generator that produced an Excel spreadsheet showing each aircraft type together with the panel and sounds that it used. Being an Excel spreadsheet it could be manipulated and sorted how you wanted it and I used to find this quite useful when clearing out old files as I could quickly identify those not used.Anyone know of a similar product available where such a list could be printed.CheersPhil

Hi,I have just recently started to get into the AI world. I made an airport with AFCAD2 by Lee Swordy and wanted to add a few AI planes to the airport.I downloaded some AI aircraft and they land, takeoff, and park in the correct places. I noticed, though, that the AI planes were quiet - no sounds.:-( I checked the config files on the AI planes and some had their own sound folders with wav files and some hade a sound folder with a sound link to another plane - like the default Learjet 45.If I select one of the AI planes and go to spot plane mode, I can start and stop the engines via the keyboard and there is plenty of sound. Marc has done it again :). With the latest FSMeteo release wind changes are smoother and overcast is handled better. I just took my first flight after updating and have to say the difference is impressive and worthy of moving the version number from 6 to 7. What is also neat is if you are getting the high resolution winds aloft they include winds over the Pacific and Atlantic ocean. Registered FSMeteo users should be getting an email with the update.Zane
