Been screwing around with it for a couple of hours: outstanding visual model, definitely a few notches above the older model. I just purchased a new video card for my machine and took a trip into my local game/book store whom allways seem to have a couple of add-ons for Flight Sim. Originally looking for a scenery package, sold out, so I bought corporate pilot 2 instead. All six of the planes had been wants of mine and the working FMC was a bonus. To be short, blunt, not sweet! The only thing good with this add-on is the auto installer,documentation, the box it came in! The planes exterior and panel's, let's just say we had better freeware for FS98 than this package. Hello all, I was wondering if anyone knows why my cities are no longer lit up at night, instead they just look like a large blob of brown. Can I change the POV with the hat switch in the VC mode from scrolling to snap to view like in the 2D cockpit?

I was on a recent trip in Orange County, CA, and remembered FSD's 337 when I saw a real 337 parked in SNA's GA parking. Does anyone have news on FSD's 337? I haven't seen any recent discussion in their forums, but their posted screenshots made the exterior model seem pretty complete and those were some months ago.-John

How do you know which fonts to use when painting a new texture.If you know which fonts are used for which airlines, would you mind letting me know. Such as if i was to paint a Delta plane, which font would be used for delta, COA, AA, UPS.. See wat i mean now? confusing.. haha./. :-lol:-wave

Hi,I'm currently 'flying' the amazing Fokker 70. The last couple of times doing night landings; I find the landing lights are so bright I can't see the taxiway turnoff junctions. Is there any way of turning down the brightness of these lights, say via the air.cfg file, maybe even the fs9.cfg file?KenSomerset, England

Just wondering, my fs9 disc number 4 has been in and out of my CD drive like a 'fiddlers elbow' since I purchased FS2004 sonn after it came out. It now begins to show signs of wear and tear; although at the moment it is still working.I'm thinking about what options I have when it does cause trouble (apart from cursing a lot!); I don't really want to buy a new FS9 Box, plenty of scope at car boot sales, but a no no for me. I have 'heard' of a fix; but that does not work.:) Anyone having the same problem? I'd be interested to hear if anyone has any ideas?KenSomerset, England

Just wondering if anyone has come across a way to change the default settings for the "Instant Replay" function in FS2004.There are times I would rather have it come up offering 30 seconds and continous replay without having to change the defaults manually.Any ideas?

I am sure this has been mentioned before, but I just returned to FS2002 after a long hiatus.Has anynone noticed that on an IFR flight ATC hand you off WAY too often. It even hands me off to some absurd places. For example, on a flight from Martha's Vineyard to Boston, I got handed off to Hartford approach for about 1 minute. This would never happen in real life.It is annoying to try to fly the plane while getting handed off so often.Has anyone else noticed this?Does anyone know of any fixes?Thanks!

Looking through some of the aviation magazines around I've noticed a lot more of the smaller planes are now fitted with modern glass cockpits.Has anyone looked at making some of these glass cockpits for existing planes?

Dear All,I've always heard rendertotexture=off and dxt3 clouds would lead to crashes in fs9.Well after flying for 3-4 days in cloudy situations I haven't had any.Let's explain:I'm using resized dxt3 clouds textures, plus dxt3 pai aircrafts and dxt3 resized scenery textures. I used to keep rendertotexture ON all the time (as suggested). Now I started using fsmetar and I encounter panel flickering with rendertotexture ON and slow framerates if using panelastexture=0. So I decided to give it a try and just disable the rendertotexture checkbox, leaving all the dxt3 clouds and scenery textures installed.Well so far I flew in italy, spain and canada with real weather (fsmetar) …

Has anyone purchased this? I like the odd military jet or two to just hand fly for a change from FMCs, procedures etc and note that they have had it tested by a real Lightning pilot (must be as old as me!). Will buy it if the feedback is positive - price looks really reasonable.Kev

Mike Pearson has gone nuts with the Henry Tomkewicz C-130 models for AI(good!). I wonder, given the worldwide deployment of this airplane over the decades, if somebody is intent on creating an AI flightplan set for these suckers? I'd love to see a military flightplans set that encompasses all the lockheed heavylifters like the C-130, C-141 and C-5. These airplanes are almost universal in their deployment and are not out of place ANYWHERE.Eric

I downloaded a Twin Otter. The panal is that of a c-172 not a twin otter. There are two Panal file foldersand a gauge file folder. The a/c I downloaded said it wasall there and shows pictures of the otter panal. Why is it notcoming up then when I use the a/c??HELP??
