Hello all,I am nervous about posting this to this forum, but here goes. I am currently developing a site streaming audio content geared specifically to the flightsimmer. This is a free service and currently the site is not out to generate revenue and you will find no advertising on the site. It sure would be nice to have this beefed up in FS10. It would be nice to hear AI jet engines roaring takeoff like what you hear at real airports... AI sound period is due for a major overhaul... :-)

Hi... just a quick question.I know how to change the *position* of a viewpoint, but how can i change the default view the way you would pan the view? My situation is with the Flight1 C172, and the default view has the pilot looking down at the panel a bit too much. I have to pan the view up to look out the window more than the panel. How can I change that permanently? I knew how to do it before but I've since forgotten how to do that. Thanks in advance.

Can't find the answer searching the forums - can anyone refresh my memory about setting the zoom level in real, virtual and flyby mode so that it defaults to the required level each time FS9 starts? I set it to .70 for 2D and virtual cockpit but it always defaults to 1.00 when I start FS. Is there a config entry to cover this?Kev

On a panel.cfg file I got from the library, there are no CR's(carriage returns) in it. All the lines are run together, but there are squares there, which I assume is supposed to be a CR. Is there a way to find & replace using Notepad? Do you need the ASCII character string codes for the symbols?Any info would help!ThanksRick

I was first wondering what happened to SGA's website. It gives me this 404 or cannot find the page for some reason. http://www.sgair.net so others can try it out and see if they get this as well as I do. I just want to out rule the fact that it maybe a firewall issue since I had installed the SP2 for Windows XP last week and I am still testing things to make sure things are running properly. I did check the forums at the flightsimnetwork and something about security IT network but what does this really mean? hi to all!today i experienced the following problem: when trying to download real weather in FS9(german version) there was a message telling me something was wrong with my internet connection and / or its configuration though i have a working internet connection an did not change anything before this happend the first time. (e.g. installing or de-installing software etc.) this error occurs no matter at which airport i try to download wether. firewall on / off does not change anything. can anybody help me?micha

When I crash my airplane in FS 9 I don't see my airplane wrecked and burned in flames. Does this depends on model of aircraft that I use or I should turn on some options in settings? Instead of crashed and burned airplane I get "CRASH" notice from FS...shortly after the crash flight is reset by FS. And here is my second question: Could someone tell me the difference between OAT and TAT temperatures? Thanks for answering and best regards...Dubravko

Unfortunately SB3 has been released as a version that cannot be installed in Win98, although I am sure more people than I are running WideFS in Win98 computers.Please, if you are one of us, running Squawkbox in a slave computer which OS is Win98, go to the Squawkbox forums (http://squawkbox.ca/forum/)and post that you can't use SB3 since you use Win98 in the PC that should run SB3.The only way SB will upgrade its product for us to use is if there are enough users asking for that change.Thanks,Leonardo [email protected]

Hey,I am trying to do flights using Real World Weather but for some reason i keep getting an error message saying i cant connect and to check my internet connection. I know my internet connection is fine because im typing this message online right now.... Is there a setting somewhere that can be screwed up or is the site where MS gets its weather down???? any help is appreciated!Kris

On a destination-less test flight in an HJG Boeing 707, just hit Northern Lights for the first time in quite some time without expecting them, at N 55.39, W121.42. Sim time is 7.20 pm.Hope others who've been looking for them can find them and enjoy this. It is super cool!JS

At 2.00am UTC/GMT today Europe changed it's time to Summer Time (or DST as called in US). In other words the UK is now 1 hour ahead of UTC and most of the rest of Europe. is 2 hours ahead.Problem is my default flight which is set in the UK still shows British Time as equal to UTC. I have searched on FS forums and the advice seems to be to resave your default flight but that does not correct it. I have Real Time but that does not show the 1 hour ahead either.Any ideas as to how to solve problem?

I purchased Misty Fjords about 3 -4 months ago , which has totally changed the way I fly in MSFS. I used to fly the big Jets around , mostly IFR, and now I am 99% of the time flying VFR at low altitudes of a about 1500 feet , like I do in real life, and looking at the scenery. For those that don't have Misty Fjords , you don't know what you are missing, if you enjoy flying small aircraft. There is a group of us, that are on a site called Misty Moorings, that fly together on line, using Multiplayer, amd go exploring in the Misty area. Using Team Speak, and MP, it is like meeting a couple of people down at a real airport, and flying off together to explore the country side…

A little while ago Lennart released textures for northern Europe and parts of the US. I was wondering if anybody had heard news as to when, or if, any new textures would be released for other areas.
