Somehow, the Boeing777-300 cab file (gauge) has been deleted from my system. I search on all Flight simulator CDs, but cannot find that CAB file. Can anyone help me to find it - i know it's there somewhere on one of those CDs, but i just don't see it. Please help. Thanks.

Has anyone with this scenery noticed that it seems to have made FS9 default AFCADS disappear. For instance, Merrill Aiport does not have correct runways for ATC after installing the scenery. ATC clears you for runway 21 and there is no 21. If I disable the scenery, Merrill disappears altogether. Same with Hope airport, no runways at all listed for Unicomm announcement, disabling the scenery and Hope doesn't even show in the airport go to list. I haven't checked any others yet, but I think that this is kind of a bummer losing the FS9 default AFCADS with no way to easily restore them.

Hi all I am considering getting another add-on (I came into some money shopping spree! ((and yes it was legally im not part of the mob :())) and am wondering if you guys could point me to a good one. As you see in my sig, I already have a nice collection. What I look for is great panel, and system modeling, nice avionics, and Frame rate friendly (LDS or better ideally)Any help appreciated!

Hello again!and pardon me for being so persisting, but I still get crashes to desktop with my FS9.This is especially when I use the MRAI Traffic View Board functions (follow aircraft)I checked whatever I could find checkable; AFCAD's, modules, cfg-files, but the problem remains......Could it be that I switch from one aircraft to another while following AI-aircraft???Still grateful for any help and tips.........Thanks again.Hans HermanssonSweden

Go to World, Map, Tower, and drag the tower view to the end of a runway directly on the center line..... Set the altitude 100 feet above the runway. Land a 737 and do a replay in Tower view,(Turn up your sound levels) with the plane passing directly overhead.The system will swivel around and you can watch your landings from a viewpoint similar to those B movie scenes. Can be adictive.

Hello, I guess I should just say this message is for Real Air... I currently own all of Real Air's planes except for one.. But I am just hanging out here and got a quick little jot at the brain.And was wondering If I could just add in on the wish list of Real Air planes... Or even wondering if their was a way to get a plane I currently have modified from Real Air for a price.Well Santa I know it's early in the year but I was wondering If you could build in the future a kick butt Bush plane like the Pilatus PC-6 or a Beaver. HiFor some time I have not been able to use the 'create a flight' menu. FS just locks up.It was also taking an AGE for FS to load up for the first time.I only just got round to trying to solve the problem, and it occured to me that I had selected to cache many of my addon sceneries. Simply reselecting the 'use this scenery directly' solved the problem. FS also starts 10 times quicker.The main culprit appeared to be the VFR photographic scenery, as there are just too many files to cache.I've posted this as I had previously asked for a solution and found several users with the same problem of not being able to use the 'create a flight menu', so it's worth checking before re…

Hi again!I still have problems with my FS9 crashing to desktop while I am flying; particularly using MRAI's Traffic View Board.I received some suggestions; e.g. a memory issue, drivers,defective or incorrect AFCAD's (which seems reasonable),bgl's which shouldn't be in addon scenery/scenery, etc.,but still the problem remains.Does anyone have experience about Microsoft's FS9.1 upgrademessing up things.I suspect that could be the issue/conflict, but don't know.Grateful for more tips and experiences........Thanks again.Hans HermanssonSweden

Hi,Does anyone know if there is a program that allows you to create a backup of your whole FS installation with all the registery entries relating to FS so that if you have to strip your computer you wouldnt have to go through the process of installing FS again?Cheers,Nat

I've been offered four hours on a full-motion Lear45 simulator and would really like to get some feel for the panel layout beforehand. Can anyone recommend a package that has a fairly realistic placement of the gauges and avionics?Doug

I have been debating on buying another aircraft... Was interested in the Pilatus PC-6 from FSD.. But a couple people have also suggested the AeroWorx B200...One question I have is the maintenance on the B200 such as tire wear etc... If you do not fix them or do maintenance can an engine quit or a tire blow?That is really getting my goats right there... That is another reason why I was thinking about the FSD Pilatus PC-6 but I haven't had much input on the maintenance stuff etc on the Pilatus... Thanks,

Hi guys,I'm using the Flight Factory Simulations RV-7 payware.Nice little aircraft...I'm planning worldtrip with the real aircraft of this type, in a couple of years form now. So now it's the time to do some routing and fuel testing with the FS2004 one.The aircraft comes with the Left/Right/Off Fuel selector, just like in the real aircraft.However, I like to modify it towards the C182 L/R/Both fuel selector.I've installed the C182 fuel selector on the panel, but unfortunately the Both position does not work.I can select L, R and OFF, but the middle one does not keeps it position, it jumps back to L or R.What do I need to change in the cfg file, to make it work please...?…

With all the real road data thats being used by add-ons developers, I was wondering if atuo gen could be designed to show houses and buildings based on interceting roads? the more roads closer together the more buildings?That way all the textures that replicate cities could be just replaced with grass and or sidewalks and buildings and ouses can sit on that? It would make the ground look very close to real.Kilstorm

Is there a way to quickly toggle AI on and off? While I like all the AI I have most of the time, trying to land in a busy airspace is a real frame rate killer for me, and it would be nice to be able to quickly toggle AI off at those times without have to pause the sim and do it through the options dialog.I did a little googling, and think it may be possible with FSUIPC. Would anybody know for sure? Or an alternative?TIA.Basil

When is the best time to activate the approach part of a flight in the Garmin? At times it seems to get confused and can't get situated. Also, what is the difference between Activate Approach and Activate Vectors to Final? Thanks.

I have Anywhere map and xm weather for my ipaq for my real flying.Flight 1 has an interface that allows you to put your ipaq in the cradle and fool the ipaq that it is getting it's gps info from the sim.I had to fudge these shots a little because you have to turn activesync off to use the program-and I had to turn it on to get the shots-but this is basically what you get as you fly.It is molto cool to fly in the sim-with the ipaq giving navigation and real live weather! Add reality xp's instruments and Active sky-it is amazing! I was thinking about purchasing Ultimate Terrain USA and Canada..How does that compare to FS-GLOBAL FS Scene, and FS Genesis.I have the FS Genesis Alaska, Yukon and several of the other portions of the US?Need some scenerary advise. UT USA seems like a good deal because of the USA Roads discount.Please advise!Barry

Here is a picture of Portland International using my default Cessna at one of the small gates. Can you spot the terminal? The control tower, the river and the bridge in the background look OK, but where did the terminal go? I have checked and rechecked my scenery.cfg to see if there was a problem there, but nothing has turned up. I checked other airports with no problems noted. My scenery is set for extremely dense. I either have a corrupted file somewhere or I overwrote a file. Could someone please offer any suggestions that might fix the problem?
