I have noticed some posts which indicate with the addition of Ultimate Terrain USA, utilities have been able to be retained from American Data. My assumption is that this means whatever is included when only telephone poles are checked (In American Data).So far, I have not seen the poles, signs, etc. show up anywhere. American Data Utilities are enabled in my scenery library (above Ultimate Terrain). Any input or clarification on this from anybody?Thanks:RTH

Well, after reading some very favorable comments on the Carenado 210, I just loaded it up. At first much to like...But am I the only person who noticed that the eyepoint in the VC is... strange. First, is the view forward in a 210 really that bad? Unless you raise your seat through the roof, there's absolutely no way to see the runway ahead while taxiing, landing, or the ground while flying level. Then, if you lower your seat to a normal height in relation to the side windows, you find that panning left/right gives you a great view of the leather shoulder or headrest areas in your seat, which you are viewing from inside-out! and of course you're now looking up at the pane…

Hello fellow FS9 flightsimmers:Have installed UTUSA & UTCANADA/ALASKA along with Holgers' latest gorge update. Also have all of FSGenisis installed (Galaxy Member).My problem is I am missing the Columbia River water & roads etc. from W119* 59.40' to W120* 55.09'. Dry river bed with buildings etc.Have all scenery layered as per Holgers' instructions and do see all of his great work as heading West past W120*.Is this just a fault in FS9 or something else?Any help would be much appreciated.(Simming since FS3 on a Tandy 1000)

Would those of you who have this elaborate on its suitability for a small GA Air Taxi/Charter service? Some specific questions I have are:1. Does it allow for charging per hour for an aircraft?2. What GA aircraft are included, and how hard is it to develop custom data for aircraft that are not included?TIA.Basil

Conspicuously missing goodie in my scenery, being an avid golfer! Anyone know if there is an easy way to get GCs in my scenery? I use CA landclass I found as freeware here, and much prefer it over my FSGenesis landclass for CA that is. I also have a pacific northwest landclass the DOES have golf courses peppered all over it (in a good way!).Noel

My freshly installed MSFS2004 (no add ons) crashes while displaying the "Loading terrain" message on the progress bar. It crashes to the desktop at around 15% loading with no error message at all. I have patched to v9.1 but that didn't help. I have also swapped to another set of install CD:s and reinstalled twice, but that didn't help either. Help!Before a few days my FS9 crashed and crashed and so on because of a wrong-saved .pln-file. Also it was extrem slow. Before this a friend installed for me the Win XP. At first with SP2, now without. Hi all,Wouldn't you know it, just as a bunch of Russian flightplans get released on MRAI, I find that Brandon's Repaint Dump ( http://www.solarix.org/repaints/index.html ) is offline. Solarix.org as a whole is down. He had a lot of Russian repaints that don't seem to exist anywhere else.Does anybody know where a similar archive might be or have a good list of where to get Russian repaints? Hi, im getting a black panel in fs9, although it looks fin in the virtual cockpit, also i know is not mi hardware couse i had fs9 installed earlier without trouble but had to unistall it for hardisk space, i installed it again and now it doesn't work...

Hi all, In win-xp add remove programs, Is it nessesary to remove every addon individuly, or can I just remove CF9?

I just tried the (fully functional) demo for FS Passengers. I first had to set up my airline company and I 'bought' my first aircraft for it, the Aeroworx Kingair B200. After I prepared the aircraft (flightplan, fuel...), I started the flight - KSFO (which is the 'obligatory airport' in demo mode) to Sacramento Executive. The program told me there were 8 passengers waiting at the gate. When everyone was aboard (a mini-window gives you the boarding status), I switched on the seat belt sign. After about a minute or so I could see everyone had fastened his seat belt. I could even pull up a menu which gave me the names and weights of my eight passengers...After take off I cou…

Whenever I load my planned flight with MSFS 2000, I can never get get ATC to acknowledge the flight...it never comes up in the standard options after I have contacted ATC. Does anyone know why not?thank you

Is there a way, perhaps in a config file, where the forward view from the cockpit and out the side windows (using the hat switch on the joystick) be fixed permanently to 1.00, vs. .68 and .75? Thanks,Mark

I have quite a few scenery addons -- set in different parts of the world. Are there any significant, noticeable benefits to de-selecting those addons in areas of the world that I am not flying today?? Perhaps the Sim loads faster - but that would be counteracted by the time involved in selecting/deselecting the different areas.Then again - Confucious says - What does man do with 1/10th of second saved in 100 metre race?Barry

I was over TX in the PMDG 737 flying eastbound out of KAUS and saw an American 757 in front of me heading southbound. I had the AI labels turned on and noticed his route was TJSJ-KMIA. Talk about an indirect route!!! I also noticed another aircraft on a separate flight in a very strange location compared to it's actual route. Has anyone else experienced this??
