hi all,i'm looking for an add-on plane that has the right equipment to do some IFR training on .. preferably a single engine piston with HSI, RMI (vor 1 on needle 1 and ADF 1 on needle 2) and a regular VOR 2 .. i want to do some VOR and ADF interceptions with it (QDM-QDM, QDM-QDR & QDR-QDR)thanx for any hints!Jan

Hi!My FS9 sometimes suddenly abruptly exits while I am flying;particularly when I follow AI aircraft using MRAI's AI-trafficmodule.Does anyone know if this has to do with AFCAD-files, module-files, or what?I suspect that crossing runway AFCAD's can mess up sometimes.I changed some to normal landings and takeoffs and then things were better.Grateful for any tips and help.Thanks!Hans HermanssonSweden

OK, I'm a huge TrackIR fan but I saw this product mentioned in PC Gamer recently. They were introduced at E3 this year. I don't see any evidence that they support FS yet but once they do I might have to try them. In some ways, though, they will be a step back from vector expansion. www.emagin.comDavid

I'm looking to upgrade from my Dreamfleet Archer II that I have had for a few years now, and have been looking at what seems to be the top 2 choices for another Piper. I am a student pilot in real life and have been looking for a Piper Cherokee to use on my simulator other than my Archer. Hust a queston to see if anyone has had a problem. I just updated my Jetline 2 and 4 with the newer versions, Now when I use the panels with jetline 2 I have a "god awfuli" noise. It sounds like a wind but very loud. This never happened with the earlier version. Has anyone had this problem? I have so many panels that use these guages I wish I never updated them..Jim

I seem to remember seeing random "shooting stars" when I was using FS2002. Does anybody remember this and have any idea what program (an add-on I am sure) made this possible?It was not something you had to invoke using a key - it just was installed and would randomly display shooting stars at night.Hope I am not the victim of a faulty memory.Any ideas appreciated.I do know that is was not the "Cool Effects" program by Thomas Moger.Thanks

Since I purchased the ERJ 145 I have unable to register on the Feelthere website support forum. I have emailed the forum administrator twice about the problem with no response. What happens is that when I click "I agree" on the terms and conditions page, the same page pops up again! It seems that it is caught in a loop. I have cookies enabled for this site. Posted on 10/8/04Flight 1 Software has released an update for their latest aircraft, the 172R Skyhawk. The update revises and/or updates the following items:- Added more dihedral to the visual model wings.- Altered windshield shape.- Many other visual items added to the aircraft exterior- Revised airfiles now loaded by default. Some people complained of excessive up trim on aircraft initialization. Hello,I am trying to outfit a King Air 1900D and maybe the 250 with a look a look version of the real world avionics that are use. I found a pay ware site called Reality xp and those where nice and lead me to this question.q. 1 In the FS world the reality xp gauges for fs9 namely the jet lines 2 are set up to be used in various T props. I am thinking that in the real world a beech's avionics will differ a bit from say a Cheyenne 400. I realize here we live in the sim world. So are the avionics mentioned here pretty much adapted to the different T props and (which again seem very nice) there are no real world looking avionics for the different T props made for that sp…

Just curious if I can further increase the sound wav's assigned to AI aircraft in a config file somewhere in FS9. For example: You're #2 at the line and the departing flight (767) lines-up and goes into full throttle. The sound pressure of the thrusters should be much more intense as it roars down the rwy (regardless of the noise reduction from the air-tight cockpit environment). After calling around I came across a CFI out of Fullerton who will take myself and my G/F up for a couple hours in a Cessna 172. I requested of him if we could fly through the special VFR corridor over LAX. He said he'd let me do most of the flying. I'm so excited I think I'm gonna pee my pants. I just bought FS EnhancerI had the trial installed previously and wanted to be able to add more objects and files at one area.However, I find that the trial and the full version have exactly the same number of, an qualtiy of, objects to select from. I don't mean the sound library, but the buildings, etc...Am I correct?I was hoping for a more extensive library than that found in a trial version, as Im paying after all. Are there any objects available on the net?Allen

Anyone out there have the American Data off of the FSGenesis website? If so when a I decide to buy Ultimate Terrain U.S.A. should I un-install the American Data's Roads & Railroads?Didn't know if It would cause conflict at all...Or give ya double trouble... :( Thanks,
