Hi,in another forum, someone said that you had to install the default traffic remover before intalling the rest, otherwise you had to unelegantly rename the default traffic file. I renamed it, but I still don't see PAI 737-400s, despite downloading & installing them.This got me wondering: do I have to keep a certain order, like1. remove default traffic2. install all models3. install airlinesand will certain planes not appear if I install a model after an airline?I spent HOURS installing that stuff and hope I won't have to do it all again...

After fiddeling for hours to get Squawkbox, IVAO and other programs to work, I feel a little bit disappointed. Many people praise those programs for their added realism, but in return I found that I got a lot less less.- Where is the traffic? It seems that during an online session I hardly find any traffic at the airports and even taxied all by myself around at KJFK during rush hour, eventually followed by another fellow pilot. All airports that I have been to were all deserted, with at best one or two fellow pilot and no AI traffic from my Ultimate Traffic at all.- Where is the ATC? I know that it is impossible to staff all ATC operations, but I have found at best one o…

I'm lucky enough to have the Level-D 767, the PMDG 737 and the Flight1 ATR, all of which have pretty sophisticated FMC's.I also have FSNavigator and with the help of that and those excellent little add-on modules I can create flightplans to upload into the Flight Simulator Flight Planner and into all three aircraft's FMC's. Hello, Was wondering if anyone could reccommend or direct me to any payware business or private jets? The only one I could find was a Lear 60 from perfect flight, but I am not happy with the quality of the panel, from the screenshots that I have seen, and it was way too expensive for the quality. Anyone know Lago's e-mail? When I try to contact them it directs me to my old e-mail server which causes my comp to crash, so I would prefer an adress instead of a link that opens your e-mail so I won't have to use the old server.

How do I properly install gauges. I always have a problem with them even with payware that has installation programs. I follow the instructions given to me in the READ ME but when I select the aircraft it gives me the Flight Simulator Cannot Find This Gauge Message. Does any one know how I can fix this? :-hmmm

Hello all,I would like to add a "braking" sound to the aircraft (jets and heavies) when I apply the brakes while taxiing. I did some research but I guess there is only one program to do that and is shareware. I only want to add one sound. I check the sound.cfg and aircraft.cfg files, but I can't figure out how to add this effect.Anyone out there that can help?Thanks.-J-

Don Halcom has released two Flight Design Microlight models a few weeks back. For those who like the slower approach, they are a fair amount of fun and include a VC. They may be missed because they're listed as FS2002 files, but they work great in FS2004 and give a bit of insight into the growing Sport Plane market. I would like to install Sandmann's package, but have USA roads. I am not very adept at messing around with FS 2004 files.It looks like doing the initial installation is straightforward, but the USA Roads package complicates things.Has anyone successfully utilized the two? How does one disable USA Roads or the default roads in that area?Thanks

Hi everyone I just got into the flight simulators maybe about a month or two ago and I am very pleased with FS 2004 and this forum for files. However I noticed alot of people are making and using the big passenger jets and thats not my thing. I am mostly flying the single or twin and sometimes the Lear jets and I havent found alot of upgrades and enhancements for the standard small planes. Is there anyone who can point me to the right files for a small plane flyer such as myself? I also like taking the most scenic flights I can find and I was wondering what have you found out there for the small plane flights?thanksPaul

As far as the freeware A330's go, How do the Flightcraft A330's stack up against the ones from POSKY? I know the POSKY ones are from FS2002, but I'm interested to hear from users that are running Flightcraft's for one reason or another instead of POSKY'sThanks in advance!Scott

Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!I installed the freeware Avanti in preparation for the race. I'm completely satisfied with the performance, but am having trouble getting a good eyepoint in the VC. At the default setting, the glareshield blocks some instruments, if I adjust so I can see them it's hard to see the ground. If I get it as close as I can, I dread zooming in on an instrument for fear of losing the good eyepoint. How do I set up a custom eyepoint for the VC specific for the aircraft that I can always get back to? I'm happy with current settings as far as other aircraft are concerned. I have FSManager 2.8 for the editing. I run at 1024X768.BTW, I installed a …

I've downloaded a number of landable carriers onto my FS2002. I'd like to move some of them to more familiar locations around the coast line of Wales, where I live. I've tried to research the subject but with little success. Can anyone out there tell me what to do. I think I need to change the lats and longs in the bgl files but that's as far as I have got.Thanks!David:-zhelp

Hi I recently tried a program called FSNight to use darker Night Time Textures but I wanted to go back to the default textures because now I cant see any aircraft parked at the gates at airports. Here is a screenshot at O'hare to show what I mean. What are the names of the Default FS9 textures that this program replaced? I would like to use those instead. Hi folks. This is my first post on AVSIM. I'm looking for a route editor that can take plain text routes in ATC format (such as ABQ.LARGO2.RSK J15 IMB BONVL4.KPDX), and will output a route in FS9 .PLN format. I looked at FSNavigaor, but it seems a little more than what I'm looking for, i.e. I don't need a route generator, just a way to turn routes into FS flight plans. Airway support is optional. Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my joystick's sensitive here. It seems that my joystick is too sensitive with all the rudders, aileons, etc. even when all the sensitive sliders are in minimums. I can't figure out how to make the changes for this so if anyone of you can help me with this I would be very appreciated.
