Hello,I use Ultimate Traffic as my AI engine. Today, on a flight from KSFO to KLAX (LDD 767) I was on final, at 3 mi - on G/S cleared to land R/w 6L when I was hit (mid air collison) by an AI Beech 1900!!!! Since I was using the FS9 ATC and was cleared to land, I account for this by the usual FS9 ATC limitations.Is there anything I can do to reduce the probability that this will happen? I also use Radar Contact 3.1 but only when I fly the ATC all of the way - I don't think you can use RC3.1 like the FS9.1 ATC and file during the flight.Thanks in advance,Ron SagelNear KCHS

Hi all. In case you missed the news Roaring Thirties have just started the PPD leaving LA and heading for Cleveland. Two are flying on IVAO and one on another server. Plus one offline. I noticed the posts t'other day about this wx radar, and on a whim, decided to give it a try. It's an interesting piece of work from someone with an obvious regard for FS. Couple of things I really like about it. Firstly it is easy to integrate into any panel - I put mine into F1 ATR and it looks good. Secondly it appears to have no impact at all on frame rates on my machine.Currently I have been using Reality's WX Radar, which I greatly admire but which, for me, has performance implications. Aside from unistalling the scenery or just not visiting these airports (the only solutions I've come up with!), can anyone provide answers to these problems?Two add-ons, UNTT and UASK. UNTT: AI land on the ground, but I go right through the ground on most areas of the airport! Also some large "bottomless pits" here.UASK: User aircraft behaves normally, but all AI planes float like 10 feet above the ground.What's with this? Fixable?Thanks!

Hi Guys,I just installed Florian Praxmarer's AOG CWR addon. I love it!!!. I don't fly the zoom view with PMDG's 737-600-700-800-900 series aircraft so I had to modify my main panel, it took some time to find the right numbers but it was worth it. I think its a great addon!!!Mike

Can someone help me figure out why suddenly FS Navigator freezes when I compile the database? It hangs on addon scenery. This happened before but I didn't do anything to fix it, just one day it worked again.Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hey everyone... I just got all of Bill Lyon's planes... but most seem to have a serious issue with slowing my frame rate down to 8 or so... but others perform just fine. Anyone know what must be causing this?

I wonder if the RFP 747-200 have a support forum? If not what support can you get if you buy this product?As far as I can see it only exists as a CD product. Is there some printed documentation bundled?

Hey guys,I just purchased my new X850XT and was eager to try out FS, but all of a sudden, I now get this error message when the main splash FS9 screen shows up. I went into details, and the modules says "ntdll.dll". I have no idea what this is and why I never have any luck with computers, but everything was working fine prior to this new video card.Have SP2 installed, all updates, drivers , dirext x up to date. Tried deleting FS9.cfg, still same problem. Anyone have any idea why this is happening and if I can fix it?Thanks a ton!

There doesn't seem to be an aircraft.cfg file so the aircraft doesn't show up in game.Anybody else with this issue?

Greetings all,The past couple of evenings, when I fire up FSAutostart prior to simming, my ZoneLabs firewall has been popping up the following message:"WMI is trying to communicate with systemrootsystem32smss.exe by opening it's process. Application: wmiadap.exe"I'm not getting this warning when I open other programs. I've run Ad-Aware, Spybot, and my AVG anti-virus...nothing out of the ordinary is turning up. I'm running WinXP, Service Pack 2 along with the patched version of FS9.I've just been hitting the "deny" button when this message pops up, but find it odd that it should have started appearing recently.Any ideas on what might be causing this?Regards,ScottKJMS

Folks,I'm hoping someone can offer me a suggestion to fix a problem I'm having with FS2004. Using certain functions of the default GPS gauges causes an immediate crash to desktop. When I use the "direct to function", as soon as I start to input the first character of the identifier I get a CTD. If I try to load a nav frequency from the nearest or airport info pages I get a CTD.I suspect that there is something corrupt in the navigation data accessed by the GPS but don't know for sure what is causing the problem. The flight planner works fine and aircraft will follow GPS flight plans without a problem. What I really want to avoid is re-installing FS2004 and the many, …

Does anyone know if any of the Airbus A319/320 models or soundsets for FS2004 feature realistic PTU sounds. If anyone has experienced this in real life, it's a weird sound that's similar to a dog barking numerous times. It is common among Airbuses equiped with IAE V2500 series engines. You often hear this on United flights after the aircraft has parked at the gate while people are preparing to exit.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Every time I shut down FS I get about 1 minute later a popup message "MSFS has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for any inconvenience"

I am flying around and I noticed most of the water bodies are very static and dont look very good especially when I fly over Victoria Falls and Niagra Falls. Is there a add on that will make the water and bodies of water look more animated?thanksPaul

Hi Folks, I dont usually post in these forums. I've just completed a great soundset for the newest line of F/A-18 Hornet aircraft. Quite a few folks began approaching me about a soundset that would work with the new Aerial Foundry aircraft. It has been completed and uploaded to Flightsim.com...should be posted for download today or tomorrow. HI,I have had a few CTD's where my FS Menu dissapears from the top of the screen and then when I change to any view FS crashes.Does anyone else get these CTD's as well, and if so have you managed to fix the problem.ThanksDrayton

Hi was just wondering if anyone has seen the movie NO ESCAPE with Ray Liotta. It's quite old now but to get to the point, in the movie there were these helicopter gunships being used which I am not at all familiar with. Does anyone know what they were or if they were fictional and made for the movie? If they are real, is there one available for FS9? Thank you.
