Hi,I downloaded a trial version of FSBuild and it seems easy enough to use but I have a weird problem with it.I generate a flight plan and export it to FS9 flight plans and also to LDS767 for FMC. It generates both fine but for some reason, when I load the Flight Plan from within FS9 flight planner it just shows a default IFR flight plan using High Level airways, which is different from the FSBuild plan I generated.Am I missing something really silly here? I appreciate any help.Thanks.

I've been searching around the net for some reviews of the most recent version of Scotflight Scenery. I can't find a thing anywhere. Does anyone here have it? Do you recommend it?I'd love to know some of your thoughts on the product.Lee

Ok, I've been looking at the big three payware traffic programs. I'm curious which offers the best ballance of:1. Models easy on the framerates that also look ok2. Parking updates so that parking is realistic (i.e. airlines at their own terminals etc) so I don't have to spend a day downloading afcads and installing them.Also, Just Flight's Traffic 2005 contains code to help manage the flow of AI into busy aifields. Does this work? Is it worth considering on this facet alone? And, are there freeware programs that can get the planes off the runways faster so you might not need it?Thanks all for your help.

Hello folks,I'm getting the hang of MS Century Of Flight and I really enjoy flying it. I just have a few questions:When you click Fly Now and you start in the plane, the engines are running. Is there any way to set it so the engines aren't running?I have the Saitek X52 Flight Control System. Are there any rudder pedals available which would go with this control system?What types of addons would you recommend? I've seen ones like ATC and Traffic addons but what do these actually do?As I live in the UK (Midlands), are there any addons for airports/terrain?Thats about it. Many thanks for your time.Karl

I start FS9, select the PMDG 737NG-600, go to the airport of choice, the engines are running. I then connect to a multiplayer session. However, after I am connected to the multiplyer session, the engines either shout down, or the throttle levers are out of synic. When I move the throttle lever on the joy stick, only the left throttle lever moves.I find that I have to select the default Boeing 737, which has the engines running, and the throttles in syinc. I then swithch back to the PMDG, and then most of the time everyting is OK. The engines are on and the throttle lever are in syinc.I cannot use Ctrl+E to start the engines while in the multiplayer session since I us…

Hello folks..Excuse my noobie-ness but I wondered if anyone could give me an idea how to use Ultimate Traffic with FS2004. I have managed to install it, and had a look around the options. I have also managed to compile a traffic file, which seems to work. I bring up the TimeTable for my airport of choice and theres the various flights going there merry way. But one thing is not clear.. do I keep the Ultimate Traffic running and then run FS2004 or not? When I bring up the palmpilot, the flights on the timetable for the airport are not on the palmpilot. I've updated Ultimate Traffic, but not downloaded any additional files I've seen mentioned in other posts.I've read …

Is there a line item in the aircraft.cfg and/or airfile which will edit the maximum RPM gauge reading for an aircraft with constant speed props (or fixed for that matter) WITHOUT also having an effect on speed and power? Such editing has worked well for temperature and other gauge indications, but I have failed to find the right combination for RPM.In some aircraft, RPM readings are low even though power and speed look pretty well on spec as near as one can tell by MP/throttle settings and a try at interprelating where pitch should be. This lacks reality as reducing RPM to specified climb or cruise settings is negated. The maximum RPM indications obtained are well below s…

I use LAGO FSE 2004 to add scenery to my bare airstrips and I find when I first pan to these scenery objects or when they first come into view, there is a small pause in FS9 operation while the textures load. This also happens with some of my AI traffic. This leads me to believe that it involves certain types of textures loading onto the onboard graphics card memory (256).It's a problem I can live with, but with my system (see below) it seems like I could somehow get the textures to load faster. I have been waiting for over two years for somebody, anybody to make a towing/pushing "tug" for FS2004. Somebody had it in a program for Fs2002, but I've never ever seen it in any program for FS2004 and I'd really like to have one !!!! Does anybody know any program or add-on for a Aircraft towing Tug? Hi,I'm new to flight simming and I have a question regarding adding aircraft to MSFS. I have FS2002 and wanted to use it with a 747-200. I found a 747-200 download which is based on the open skies 747-200. I unzipped the download into my fs2002 airplanes folder. When I ran MSFS, the new airplane appeared in my airplanes menu, and when selected it showed that airplane in the view. So far so good, but when I went to fly the airplane, the panel was the 747-400 glass panel. What I was hoping for was a 747-200 panel with steam gauges.Does this airplane I downloaded use the -400 panel, or does it have a -200 panel and I'm doing something wrong?Is it possible to get a 7…

Not sure what is wrong here, but all of a sudden I can no longer see any callsigns when I select a plane in the aircraft selection menu. THis is tiring, because every plane I fly myself will then be called by its registration, not by its callsign. I checked the aircraft.cfg, everything perfect there (in the atc_callsign line). It's not that the callsigns are inexistent, since I can hear them being used for my AI, even though the callsigns for AI planes don't show up either when I look at them in the aircraft selection menu in FS.Any help?Thanks

I already have FSNAV but am getting seriously annoyed by the length of time it takes to draw the MAp with AA turned on. I see Aerosoft have updated there Flight commander to 7.5. If I upgraded to this would I lose anything that FSNAV has? :? Also is this program integrated like FSNAV? And can flight plans be exported to FS2004 so that ATC makes sense of them?TIA

Having spent some time with Eric Dantes excellent Twin Bonanza (http://www.e-d-aviation.com), I have absolutely fallen in love with this plane. While Eric's version of the Twin Bonanza is very good and I am in no way criticising his work, it doesn't match the quality of some of the better, more recent, payware products. Especially the virtual cockpit, which is where I spend practically all of my sim time. Does anyone know if there are any high-quality payware versions of the Twin Bonanza available? Failing that, are there any other high-quality twins of comparable vintage? I am not particularly interested in more modern planes with glass cockpits etc.Thanks.

This is the MS flight simulator forum and small pics as per the uploading limits set by Avsim are often relevant to explaining a subject of a posted thread. I do! A Jetstream 31 in United Express colors for FS95 (actually it might have been earlier than that). I got lucky - many freeware aircraft back then were considerably worse than the defaults but this one was sweet! I think it was the first time I downloaded any file from the internet. I got it from a "large" database of FS files on some university server. It was years before I got to ride on a real Jetstream 31 - a TWA flight from Chicago to Champaign/Urbana.
