I've had my FS9 on the same machine for 2 years, same folder etc, and recently I noticed that my keyboard assigments were missing (some of them). I had to reassign some of the basic key commands like Shift-P to move back Shift-e to open doors etc, only to discover that the same thing happenned the next time I reloaded FS. Is there a corrupted file somewhere? Thanks for helping me out.PS By the way the only new thing I added to my sim was the PMDG 747.

Hello,Everytime i try to use the default 737-400 jet in fs2004, when im coming in for a ILS Approach using autopilot, the jet seems to bounce up and down too much on the gludesloap. Why is this? Does anyone else have this issue?It seems to chase the glidesloap needle insted of intercepting it.Is there any fix to this? or is it something im doing wrong?

Hi allWhen I am heading south along the Hudson River towards NYC, I notice that the GPS map stops the river just north of the GW bridge.The river is there when I look out of the aircraft, so I wonder if I have a missing or corrupted file somewhere and where it might be found? Can anyone else duplicate this problem?I am using FS9 with the upgrade, USA roads and NYC MegaScenery.Thanks in advance for any thoughts.WF

sorry for posting this here but im on my way out the door and didnt have time to register on their forum (ive registered so many times over the years im tired of it, lol).Does anyone know if the landing and taxi lights in the Bonanza are hard coded?...i wanted to swap them out for landing lights i prefer from another plane but i didnt see an effects file for it.ThanksDave

Hi,I had constant CTD's a while ago. Now it is solved. It was a LC file (EUROPE.BGL and I moved it to the BASE folder, and CTD's vanished) from the product Roads & Rivers of Europe. Some months before I had bought All Roads of Europe from FSQuality. When I bought R&RE from JustFlight I thought it was a whole new product. But when I researched my CTD, I discovered that both products are exactly the same. Same bmp's, same bgl-files. But on both websites this isn't mentioned at all. Are JustFlight and FSQuality merged and the same companies, or are they seperate companies and sell same products with other names and trying to gain some extra money out of it?Regards,Je…

Simmers,I need your help. I recently re-installed FS9 plus patch 9.1, installed all of my add-ons, and I frequently get a CTD with the message "not enough physical memory, or hard drive space, please clean up your disk".I thought it was a landclass scenery with a texture folder or something like that. But no. Then I thought it was my drivers. I installed most recent drivers for XP (SP2). Then I checked for double afcad files. Also, nope.When I start FS9, I have a virtuale memory size of 619 Mb, but when I'm flying it runs to 1 Gig or more. Does anybody have a clue to where I can find the solution? Hi!I`ve installed a lot of ai-packages, and the traffic is getting really busy now. But on some airports where I expect heavy traffic, both landing and departing, there seem to be almost none airplanes landing. For example, on Sheremyetevo (UUEE), I`ve many planes on the ground, but very few is landing. Also on Fiumicino (LIRF), there seem to be imbalance. But again on some other airports, the landing ai-planes comes often. So is this normal?Regards,Jan Ove

Hey , i cant figure out how to install ai aircraft, i can only do it when there in that package when u download them by airline pack on that big site, how can i put just one aircraft into AI, how do i do it? thanks

I was looking at the manual for the LAGO F-16 and see this excerpt:The F-16 is optimized to be used as AI traffic aircraft as it includes a simplified LOD model, so seen from a distance the aircraft will have a very low impact on frame rates.How does one go about adding this as AI?Thanks All--Noel

Guys I hope someone can really help me here. I have narrowed down a CTD problem I am having ( at least i hope i did). It happens when trying to connect to vatsim. I just flew my pmdg 747 (NOT ONLINE) for about 1200 miles with NO probs. Now when i start to connect to vatsim using FSINN (not yet connected but you know when you click the FSINN on the top of the fsinn control panel and it starts a mutliplayer session) then it crashes. Sometimes right away, sometimes 5 minsutes but sooner or latewr it crashes. I got rid of fsuipc and reinstalled it with new .ini file. This is getting very frustrating and I hope someone has had the same problem at some point in time and can len…

Some time ago I had to uninstall Activesky 2004.5 because clicking its icon stopped loading activesky and started trying to install something with some installshield wizard... Now, I have absolutely no idea where the activesky 2004.5 installer file is.... I suspect it's on a cd or dvd somewhere, but so far no luck.....Since I can no longer redownload it from simmarket, I'm actually now considering buying the ASV upgrade.... But, my question is: Now that ASV's been out awhile, how are the framerates compared to 2004.5? The 2004.5 version introduced enough of a framerate hit (but not quite enough to make FS unflyable), just want to make sure ASV won't be too much worse..…

I believe there may be a graphics problem when using the LDS 767 or PMDG 744. After starting FS9.1 and loading either of the two mentioned aircraft all seems OK initially. After task-switching to the desktop to fiddle with the weather add-on I task-switch back to FS9.1 and the ATC text box is empty (ATC is still working, I just can't see the text inside the box). If you then select the "P" key to pause the simulation a nice red box appears at the lower left of the screen but the text is blank there as well. SHIFT-S for the FPS indication is completely blank

Had to reinstall windows, and lost my entire original windows directory due to stupidity in the process.. When I got windows back, my flight sim files which were on the on the other side of a primary partition were still there, but I had lost the .exe link. I "reinstalled" by putting disk 1 thru 4 in, and not a rivet on any of my addon aircraft was harmed. Went really quick, especially the "decompressing scenery files" part. Hello!I have a question about the taxi light(s) in FS9 aircraft.Does anyone know if there is a way to assign a key on the keyboard or a joystick button to just the taxi light(s)? In the assignments settings I can find the landing lights, all lights, center lights, strobe lights, ect. but there is no TAXI LIGHT option that I can see.I would like to be able to switch between the taxi and landing light seperately by pressing a button on my throttle quadrant.I would think that the taxi light assignment option would have been available in the FS9 settings, but I can't seem to find one.Thanks!Scott :-)

Recently I have been using the iFDG Airbus A320, because it is my favorite plane. It worked fine with no problems, but then I added the "Airbus A320 Sound Package" by Andre Silva. Now, when i switch to the spot or tower view, my computer restarts. This is a very annoying problem. I also occurs with the POSKY 747 with a soundset from the AVSIM library. This is realy bothering me, because I really enjoy the custom sounds that are in the library, but when I add them to a plane, my computer reboots when I switch to an exterior view. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance,Mike
