Hello, I have a eyesight problem wich makes reading, text,monitors,guages etc vary hard. From resolution 1024x128. The only problem is, Some a/c such as the lvld 767 or pss 777 panels, look vary distorted. Would there be a way to resize panels so they will fit on a 800x600 resolution, yet not look distorted Thanks

Please Help!!For some reason I dont get moving percipitation anymore. The raindrops and snowflakes appear as spots on my screen. It looks as though the windscreen is dirty. This stays the same, also in other views.I replaced the rain textures but that did not help. I also checked my graphic card (GeForce XT5600).What might be going wrong ?Frank [email protected]

I've been doing some playing/flying/studying around with PMDG's 744 and have discovered how perfect the "save flight" and "save panel state" feature works. Currently doing a longhaul from Heathrow to Hongkong on Quantas, doing it one short flight at a time, while frequently saving both the flight and the panel. While it does take a few miles for everything to settle back in (altitude, heading, speed), the panel loads perfectly with every setting saved, no need to reload the flight plan, etc. For me this feature means the difference between 1) rarely flying the airplane, 2) starting a flight then abandoning it halfway through, 3) constantly flying short-haul between Tokyo …

Hi all, I have a problem that I have just run into, when I flight plan in fs9 flight planner or in FS Navigator, set up the flight in pmdg 737NG or Level D 767, the route is shown correctly on the FMS and FS Navigator but fs9 ATC makes me fly a paallel route some 20nm south of it, if I try to fly the route using LNAV, ATC gets upset! I have recently installed My Traffic 2004 and FSG2005 Global scenery, and Ultimate terrain Canada and Alaska, but it was working fine before I loaded My Traffic. I unloaded My Traffic but no change. Hi,I was flying in the Alps and as I gained height I was disappointed to see these lines criss-crossing the mountain scenery. Having been flying instrumental landings since Flight Simulator 2002 came out, I do feel that I've more or less got the hang of it. Even so, I still sometimes have the same old problem of the jet capturing the glideslope OK, but then descending too fast and too short, so that unless I disengage the autopilot far earlier than I normally would, the plane would touch down a kilometre or so before the threshold.Does anybody else have this problem? It's very difficult for me to work out the cause, I haven't been able to decide whether it is a fault in certain aircraft for example, or at certain airports. (Or is it really me?). I have never seen a GA airport as crowded with GA/Bush planes as Merrill Field in the Anchorage area of Alaska (well maybe Oshkosh at the hight of AirVenture). Planes are parked everywhere... Check out 'Hood Lake' next to Anchorage Intl., is that unbelievable or what. Instead of boats around the lake you have planes. I really think Alaska is the place to be for anyone wanting a deal in getting their private pilots license. You couldn't tell me you couldn't find someone willing to train you for little or nothing. It almost looks as if private planes are about as common as the family car...

I wrote this in a response in another thread, but thought it was interesting enough to warrant its own discussion.I've been posting my repaints and other files here for awhile and recently counted them up. 87000 downloads and growing. What struck me as funny, is that the one repaint that I consider my best work, a Panagra DC-7 El InterAmericano scheme, wasnt really that popular. How can I pan the view in 2D cockpit mode to look up or down when I press Shift 4 or Shift 5 in the regular cockpit 2D mode? I can look forward and press Shift backspace to look up and Shift enter to look down just fine, but I cant when I look left of me and right of me and any other direction in the cockpit. I could do this in FS2002 as far as I can remember.Thanks,Bill

And sorry if this has been asked before.If you could have a super-real scenery but *only* within one altitude range (say 0-10k, 10k-20k, etc...), with all other ranges at current level or worse, which would you choose? If you fly mainly PPL, try to choose anyway.

I'm ecstatic to say that I have finally resumed my dream and pursuit of obtaining a PPL. Going for my 3rd lesson next weekend. While training in a C172 I kept making mental comparison's to the Flight1 C172 which I'm currently using. Besides some of the obvious differences such as G-forces, stick pressure, and peripheral vision, I've noticed that a real C172 seems a lot easier to control than the Flight1 C172. I thought it would actually be vice versa. I'm sure this has probably been discussed before but I was wondering what other people , who have gone from FS9 to real life training, thought about the transition from sim to reality and whether or not they felt that real l…

Hello; I've the above mentioned installed and was wondering if there is a conflict with the default Schipol scenery? I was flying from Heathrow to Schipol using FFX/Sga's 737-200, made my flight plan using FSNav and exported it to FS9, when I got within range of EHAM's ATIS was given a runway which isn't even shown in FSNav database. I tried to find this runway but no luck, so I cancelled the flight. When using NL2000 do you have to disable the default holland scenery? I'm not using any AI stuff. Robin

I recently change my AI acft in FS2004 from, "My Traffic 2004" to "Traffic 2005" (by Just Flight) and also added, "FS Military AI Traffic" (by SimMarket). I fly a lot out of Honolulu Intl Arpt and then noticed that about 95 % of all AI acft there were MILITAY. This was NOT realistic ! Something must have "malfuntioned " during the installation of the "FS Military AI Traffic". Is there a way to make the AI at Honolulu civilian like it should be; in other words, just change the type of AI there without affecting other airports. So far, this is the only airport I have seen this problem. Thanks jerrycwo4
