Hey guys my PAPI/VASI lights are huge-like giant orbs sitting next to the runway and are very unrealistic, especially at daytime. Does anyone know of some that are bright and small at night but dont show up very well if at all during the day?

hello :)I have been looking at the new PSS 777, debating whether to buy it now or wait till some of the bugs are fixed.I see alot of people talking about comparing it to PMDG ect, one name that has popped up was the LevelD 767.I have been out of the loop for the last 6 months, so this name is new to me. I see its a Flight1 bird.I Do not have a payware 767 in my hanager, and was wondering if its THAT good? people are putting it on the level of PMDG so that opened my eyes.Just would love some feedback from actual owners on this bird!Thanks!

Suddenly, large square patches of ground have appeared from nowhere. Victoria (superbly enhanced by Holger) is now on a beautiful salty lake and the cruise ships do some clear-cutting of their own.I can't think of any changes made recently that could be related to this; I have only installed new aircraft and yes! the Columbia River Gorge upgrade.I have also noticed that most Spanish airports now sit at E00.00 either at the Pole or the Equator or at 45 deg. lat.This looks like some corruption but I am trying very hard to avoid a full FS9 reinstall.Can anyone provide some advice?Many thanks,Phil

Lately, while running FS9, I notice the following random and strange error in event viewer. It provides me with absolutely zero information on how to troubleshoot it. Dear Friends: I have been trying all night to register for the Forum. No matter what I do, I can't log on. I keep getting an error message. It keeps telling me that there is an error logging on - password or user name is incorrect. If I try to re-register, it tells me that my username or email address is already in use. What can I do? I've just noticed 2 files in my Flight Simulator 9 folder. They are called jroutes.rt and vroutes.rt. They seem to contain details of jet and victor airways respectively in text format. The jroutes.rt file begins:A1 BI.FLORA BI.SUA1 BI.RK BI.SUA2 BI.BL BI.RHA33 LI.GALTI LI.GIOA33 LI.SOR LI.LUNARB1 BI.BAKKI BI.VMI think SuperFlightPlanner might generated them but I don't know what they are used for, if anything?

Hello,I was installing a new panel for a 777 and the freeware package gave me a zipped MODULES folder with a sound.dll in it. I stuck it into the MODULES folder in FS9 and wrote over the old one. Stupid really because when I started FS9 it gives me an error message saying 'C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9MODULESsound.dll file is missing or damaged. Please reinstall Flight Simulator to restore or repair the file. Flight Simulator will now quit'. Heart attack stuff because I'd be all year reinstalling. Its a 2002 panel for a 2002 Aircraft can anyone advise?Many thanks,George Tyrrell

I tried an aloha/island air repaint using the text-o-matic program provided by flight one. Everything went smoothly but...the tower will not go by the aloha airlines callsign. How do I set the configuration to have the tower use the proper callsign? Thanks for your input. Tom

Hello,IS anyone aware of a small display that has touch screen capability that works with FS9?I would like to add one for CDU/FMS programming and operations. I really don't like using a mouse to press keys or my keyboard if possible. Most of my functionality is on GOFLIGHT equipment. Yes.. Dear Simmers...Please help me on this one.The CLS a300-600R has attracted a lot of negative comments in simmarket reviews. Still, I see a lot of repaints done.It seems this aircraft is indeed popular. I know it is a 'throw a switch and it goes' type of aircraft. (like the aerosim Tristar).But I do have that and I do sometimes fly it, because I like the tristar anyway and the aerosim offering is the best one around presently.As for the A300, give me some positive comments, those who have it...I may just get it, but I am not into 'lite'.

Yesterday, my copy of Shockwave's absolutely awesome ** Heavy Bombers and Jets arrived. I installed it last night, but it was too late then to fly.So I flew first thing this morning. Read the VERY appreciated manual's B-17 section, then fired-up the B-17G "Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby" and flew a short hop from SGF to KSUS. Whoa! Awesome..everywhere I looked I found something else. The VC is stunning, the flight modelling is dead-nuts accurate (according to the books, anyway, but it felt just like I had read before).I had downloaded about 15 repaints before it even arrived, lol, so I put them in. I once read that Aerowinx PS1(http://www.aerowinx.de/) was the best simulation of a 747(systems, aerodynamics, etc) that you could get on a PC. It is even used by NASA acording to their website. Just out o curiosity, I was wondering how does the PMDG 747 compare to PS1 as far as systems/aerodynamics modeling?

I was coming in for a landing yesterday and suddenly realized my marker indicators were not working. At first I thought they weren't turned on but they were. So I tried another plane and found they are not working for ANY plane. I don't know what to do because it seems that the problem must be with the sim itself. Anyone else have this problem or know what to do about it?Don

O.K. when choosing the heavy snows option, then getting on the runway in a 747, I get the altimeter set wrong message, and my airspeed indicator start at 12 instead of 0. When I do get in the air of course the air speed goes to 0. So it has to be the pitot's are frozen but I have the de-ice turned on. This does not happen using the winter wonderland option. Any suggestions, I know I must be doing something wrong.Andy

I was wondering what everyones experience in dealing with eDimensional is. I bought the TrackIR 3 and vector expansion, before the new TackIR 4 got released. I then got an email saying that I could change my order since I was already waiting for the vector expansion, which I did. My small annoyance is that they already charged my creditcard even though it's almost a month ago. Now I've bought a lot of things off the internet, but they have always waited to charge my creditcard until they actually shipped the product. How come no one has made a high detail version of Kai Tak, something like FlyTampa airports. I realize that there are some, but I find them inferior to say the least. I know it's closed and all, but it is probably the most famous approach, plus the surroundings are amazing. I know there would be a lot of people who would want to try and see if they could master the IGS13 approach.
