Hi.I was wondering if anyone has tried that Auto land Gauge yet that I saw on the main page of Avsim.let us know what it's like to use, and how it performs please.thanks,

Does anyone know if they are the same product, it would seem to me that ultimate terrain would include USA roads, but USA roads does not include some features of ultimate terrain... ???Does this sound right to anyone??ThanksAndy

I have the FSD Commander 115C and I have found that it behaves completely different from all my other planes.For example leaving the control by itself it goes into a 10 deg left bank and the inclinometer ball also goes to the left. It's very tricky to straight the plane up. You easely get an uncoordinated attitude (if using aileron). It's very sensitive and it can start banking to the right instead. Ruddertrim doesn't help. One notch has no effect and two makes it turn to the right instead.In these regsrds it's completely different from other planes and very difficult to hand fly.Question is this just like the real thing? Or is something wrong?

When ever I try and connect to the netwings server my FS crashes and fails to load. Is there a known reason for this?

Hi Dillon,Better late than never ;-)I just saw your message on the Flytampa San Diego forum about the problems with my flatten file removing the mountains on approach to rwy 27.If you are still interested I've attached a new version to a message in the forum over there which should give you the hills on the rwy 27 approach back as well as having the interstate visible.Hope it's of some use.All the best,John

My son is new to MS Flight Simulation.He does not want to go right awy into complex GA's or Jets, plus he has to consider that his allowance has other uses than expensive addons). He wants to use the default aircrafts (the Cessnas 172-182 208-208B, The King 350, The Baron 58, The Mooney Bravo and the Three Boeings B737-400,B747-400, B777-300.I told him that I have read and has experience some difficulties with the aerodynamics of the defaults and that some clever people has come up with modified/optimized FDE's. Does anyone know if the MRAI flightplans have been ported to FS Alliance? I tried today to look for a new version of Southwest Airlines flightplans (to update my Summer 2003 one), with the livery configuration, but I could not find the Southwest flightplans on their site.I must also say that FS Alliance has an AWFUL file library function, the worse one I have not seen since the days ProjectAI used a forum to attach files and flightplans (November, 2002).If FS Alliance is going to keep that kind of a structure, it is going to completely ruin whatever effort MRAI guys have put in because I spent more time browsing through that thing to get the flighplans I want vs. installi…

I own the BEV textures, various FSGenesis mesh, FSGenesis US landclass, and USA Roads. I fly low and slow and value realism. I have been interested in the MegaScenery NorCal and MegaCity San Franscisco products. But I don't really understand what the difference between a photoreal scenery and normal scenery is and whether these products would play well together. I believe I heard once that photoreals are not pretty close up, which would definately tun me off. Also, how are framerates affected? Any advice? thanks

Hi Everyone,When flying ILS approaches, is there any way, other than having access to approach charts, to determine ahead of time, whether a runway requires 'backcourse' for the ILS approach? I use FSNavigator, and it does indicate that both ends of a particular runway have the same ILS frequency. Since I updated my Radeon 9800 Pro to the latest drivers Catalyst 5.11, I have very strange problems with FS9. The last two times Itried to save a flight my monitor went to standby and my systems didn't react to any form of input. All I could do was to reset the computer. Anyone else having problems with these 5.11 drivers?
