Anyone know where I can get some great updated textures for the sun and moon in FS9? I'd also be interested in new lightning , and thunder and rain sounds. Thanks for any help

The write up in the library states this:"This is a complete aircraft modeled in G-MAX by Robert Verslyus including various liveries, sounds and panel. It has been designed for FS2004"There is no panel for it even though gauges and panel bmp files are loaded - why I cannot understand. It the says in the readme to find your own panel for it and lists various sites but the names of the panels are wrong. I only looked at one site and could not see why I had to do it anyway. The liveries etc look OK.Why is a panel file installed that tells you u should have an alias to an opensky aircraft. I spent 20 mins uninstalling all the files it installed. If anyone hasn't noticed that Richard has uploaded his 727 panel for 2004, it's in the library. Sadly, I understand that Richard has retired from the hobby, and wished we would see his work again. I have active sky V, UT USA and Canada/Alaska, FS Genesis Mesh and landclass, Flight Environment, and sliders set to max but in general my computer can handle it. Suddenly I have noticed a texture refresh a few minutes after loading the game and sitting on the ramp. This happens at every airport I go to, whether out in the middle of nowhere, or in a big city. The whole world turns grey then a few seconds later everything goes back to normal. What is causing this?Thanks

it was pointed out to me that you can't see the smoke and flamesfrom the cockpit left window the start up flame and smoke fxleft engine but you can from out side the plane FS Designs connie I just wonder why in general thank's spad_007:-hmmm

I have to apologize to PSS for some of my past statements concerning the 777. Seeing I've had a bad taste in my mouth since FS2k4 and the Airbus series, I really didn't think the company could deliver. Compared to the SSTsim Concord I felt the PSS version wasn't on the same level and no PSS plane has really touched the levels of PMDG and/or Level-D until now. Avsim unlike the Concord this one truly deserves the highest ranking

A number of my scenery folders are corrupted and I need to rebuild FS9. What are the common traps, mistakes, or errors that I need to watch for when I rebuild.Tom

I've recently reinstalled MSFS and I can't seem to get rid of those annoying popup windows that say things like "your engines are started press Control-E" and the like.I never used to have these but I can't find out where to disable them.It ought to be somewhere obvious but doesn't seem to be. Can someone oblige? Thanks.

I enjoy the Cessna 182 from Carenado, but at night I dislike the red glow that appears. Is there any way to link the red glow to something like the taxi light so I can just have the gauges illuminated?Thanks

Hi guys,I mentioned it sometime ago, and I even made a short teaser movie. But now, finally made from scratch is my latest movie featuring PMDG's stunning 747-400.Anyone who has read my postings and seen my video's know that I am a post production editor, so all my movies are exceptional in quality. Hi!since i installed canarysim GCLP, my whole scenery cfg is ruined. i uninstalled it , but everything is broken. i tried to restore the cfg by myself, but now (FS9 does not crash anymore) its strange, while loading a flight it says something like "scenery reading error" but it loads the flight and my scenery looks like this!please help me!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/132966.jpghttp://www.igfly.com/images/betateam.jpg

Hi im new but im having some bother, when first using MSFS2002 everything worked fine, but recently when i throttle to full power the engine noise increases the power increase, but the turbine blades stop spinning, ive recently wiped the hard drive and reinstalled MSFS2002 and ive still had no look, can anyone else help me

Did anyone see any improvements in FPS when changing e.g. terrain_extended_levels or the terrain_*_radius parameters to veryy small values or is only the sharpness/visibility affected?Andreas

Hi folks, Im not sure if this is possible or not, but I have been playing MSFS with FSpassengers and It says you can implement your own radio chatter to add to the not so many files that come with the program(FSPax).Well because Im not computer oriented, I was just wondering if anyone has put together Chatter packs (I guess you could call them) and uploaded them here in the avsim library so I could implement them in FSpassenger.Thanks alotGerry

I was reading on the Bombardier Dash 8 Q-400 and it looks like a pretty sweet turboprop... I was wondering does anyone out there have or know of a place that offers these planes in payware that are worth the buck? I like good flight characteristics and paying attn to detail.Oh by the way has anyone really noticed much for Bombardier aircraft? Bombardier has some very good crafts I think. Happy Landings,

I already own the DF727 and I am considering the 747-200 RFP V2.From what I know both are less automated then for example PMDG 737Ng and 747 and LDS767.How do they compare? What does the RFP offer which I don't already have in DF727, or the other way around. What about FPS? One thing I have seen on the RFP is the documentation and I'm very impressed.
