Where can I find the AIRED "utility" used to reset the overspeed in a aircft. Also, what "name" do you search for? I plugged in "AIRED" into Avsim file search and came up with nothing. Thanks, jerrycwo4

I can find several sites for USA charts but not one that allows me to plan an appraoch into Geneva, Switzerland.Anyone know of a site please?

Whenver I try to use the normal FS launcher, I get on FS fine and start flying, but all the sudden my screen turns from normal graphics into graphics of 5-10 different neon colors. Then a box comes up saying that I need to reboot my computer, and I do so. The graphics restore after I restart the computer, but this scenario happens everytime I use FS. Now I use the SAFE MODE option in the Microsoft games link under START. This works better by the graphics not getting disorted and messed up, but the FS often times just shuts off randomly. I have no idea whats wrong. I have a Dell Demension with no added graphic card. Can any1 help me??

OK, I know I am getting older, but I have forgotten how to minimize FS...Would some kind soul out there take mercy on me and respond with the minimize key command?Thanks

Ive been thinking about getting this plane for sometime but considering its age and a update Ive been hearing about for over a year, would like some feedback. At $30 its not in my whats there to lose category but up there in price with the latest greatest releases.VC graphics,gauge fluidity,problems running under fs9 ect.Also can you fly the plane from vc? OK ...I know it's not supposed to have one... but I want Auto Throttle and Speed control on the Embraer 135 and 145. I love the Embraer 135 and 145 from a style and Regional Jet point of view, and I want to fly them more frequently, but I do love the AT control so that I can take a break on a long flight. Is there a way to have it on a great panel? I do have excellent panels for the planes, but the AT's do not work and speed control is obviously and deliberately absent. What do you think? Is it possible?

I had to reinstall XP and now I will have to reinstall FS9. Fortuately all of the folders and files for the old installation are OK. Here is my plan.1-Rename old install folder to FS2004old2-Make a backup copy of the FS9 folder in Documents and Settings3-Perform new install to NEW folder FS20044-Delete the NEW folder and rename folder FS2004old to FS20045-Copy my backup FS9 folder to Documents and Settings overwriting existing entries6-Click on the icon created with the new install and go fly!!I have some payware aircraft and scenery, so I may have to reinstall those again if they don't work.Does anyone see any glitches to this plan? I have gotten this CTD a few times in the past week. Could someone point me in the right direction to find the source of the ctd. I've found and corrected ctd's caused by the atc.dll before, but this is a new one for me.Thanks!Rick

Yes, I did search. Found alot of speculation and even more bickering. I have been away a very long time. I know MS was on a two year (or there abouts) release schedule. Isn't this year the release year for an '06 version? Or am I a year off? If it is time for a new version, does anyone know what the delay might be? There is very little solid info being posted on the forum here.Thanks in advance to those that may enlighten me.

Not that interested in the L-10-11 as much as the DC-10 and DC-8, I cannot find a AA DC-10 repaint is it available? Also, anybody have any PIREPS on the DC-8? Nobody seems to talk about it.Chuck

Hi,After years of flightsimming, I've finally dicovered the fun of using the VC. I currently fly the following aircraft;1) Aeroworx B2002) Dreamfleet B583) PMDG 737NG-700Flying the B200 and B58 from the VC is a pleasure for the graphics are great and most importantly, they're fully functional. The only panel I have showing on my second monitor now is my RXP GNS530 which is fitted to both aircraft.So I'm covered for the props as far as the VC goes.Now for the jet. I'm considering doing one of the following three things;1) Upgrade the 737 with 8/900 package to get the more fully functional VC. The T7 is one of my favorite planes, and the PSS 777 has me interested. but im a little skeptical, since buying the A320 and A340 from them, they seem to be more focused on eye candy than systems. and being a realism freak in FS, the more realistic the plane is, the more i like it. and im curious, how is the PSS 777 for those that have it? how does it compare to the LD767 or the PMDG 747? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanksAdam

Can someone explain why in fs9 a plane can't fly inside a cloud? When an airplane approaches a cloud, the cloud turns into a sheet of paper. With fs9 pretty good weather engine I don't understand what's so hard about making it possible for a plane to fly inside a cloud. FS10 most likely won't have this issue.

I'm not a techie, so I would not even know how to do this if possible. But, is there a way to create a network of AI flight patterns for VA aircraft. For instance, if I fly for xxxVA, is there a program that would allow conversion of my company's colors so that I might see them in flight and/or at various airport gates?If this has already been done and I just don't know about it....sorry...:-)Sherm

Yes, I know that currently FS only allows flat runways and I know that these can't be altered. What I was wondering (if anybody knows) was why? Why are FS runways all flat?

Wow, the alpha pictures posted by Koorby at Vista Australis look amazing. And with Ultimate Terrain eventually being developed as well, it will be such a huge improvement over the default. All that is needed is a revamp of Sydney airport (and perhaps Brisbane and Melbourne too). Any takers?John.

I've recently started to use the Fs9 Flight Planner again, mainly in order to use the full ATC service. Just wondering how, or if, the Navdata is updated to the FP; the Routes produced always seem fairly close to those produced by other Utilities I have, minus Sids/Stars.KenSomerset, England

Hello,Where does the info in the FS9 menu item for the A/C fuel/Wt come from? If I use an "addon configuration" program to load fuel and passengers/luggage/freight and save this data via that Loadout - it does not show in the FS9 menu selection.As an example - I use the PSS 319 or the 330 Loadout program. I save the data and start the FS9. I load the A/C and the data I see in the menu selection of FS9 fuel/wt is not what I loaded. I always use the LOADOUT info but am now not sure what the actual FS9 data is at that time.
