Hello, I have not success in searching routes that operate between small airports by 777/747/MD11. Most of them are between large airports, or between 1 large airport and a small airport. And for us, simmers, performance does affect our decision of choosing the route. For now I'm interested in LatinVFR Miami KMIA, how is it in terms of performance and VAS? Anybody here struggle with Uk2000 Heathrow? Taxi2Gate just release Charles de Gaulle! PMDG 747 is comming real fast, need to get ready! Cheers! Hoang Le

A surprising thing happened on my approach to a small private airport (07FA) Ocean Reef Club. I'm 14 miles out flying the Phenom 300 jet and hear on the unicom a Cessna 172 doing touch-n-goes. He announces he's on downwind. On the radar I see he's already way past the airport so I assume he'll turn base right in front me, as usual for AI. I announce I'm on final and amazingly he waits to turn base and pulls in behind me about 10 miles out. Was this just a fluke or was this AI smarter than the average bear?

Hi, I've noticed that at some of the airports the tower view is not correct. Examples are Orlando international and Hartsville International. I have the latest AFCADs that I can find. I've checked the tower locations in ADE and they are correct, according to Google Earth. The one thing I found that is not correct is at Orlando International, I've noticed that I had 2 control towers, but Orlando International only has 1 large and very tall control tower. So I deleted, or removed the tower that was not supposed to be there using ADE. Regarding the other tower, the location appears to be correct in ADE but the tower view is still not correct in FSX. G'day, I am currently trying to connect to my mate in the Majestic Q400, using Shared Cockpit. However, when we connect he says he sees a single bar of connection and I do not see any green bars, he can also pull switchs and move flight controls that I can see but I am not able to do any of that. This seems like there is a one way connection even though we have both port-forwarded, put the correct ports in the control panels. We tried each person as master and loaded into the same livery at the same location at airports. My mate is using FSX-SE and I am using Prepar3D if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Good day I purchased the Toposim scenery for southern africa from steam. I don't enjoy it at all. How do I remove all the files which were added and get my scenery back to the way it was ? I did make a back-up copy of the scenery.cfg file Regards Trevor

Hey guys, when attempting to fly the Flight One Super 80 Pro in FSX:SE, I am getting an error where the plane constantly stutters when the VNAV is engaged. It just recently started doing this, though I have had stutters from the plane in the past, but they eventually went away, or didn't exist in the first place. I don't think that it is a hardware issue, as it does it with no other plane, PMDG, CLS, etc., and it doesn't do it any other time, just when VNAV is engaged, but I will list my specs below just in case. Hello people, Maybe some of you can remember back in 2012, someone recovered a tweak for FSX, that allowed us to get a super smooth sim, without any (micro)stutters whatsoever. You just had to use NVIDIA Inspector, and use the VSync settings "Standard" and "1/2 refresh rate" (for 60 Hz monitors). Then you had to limit your FPS to 30 in FSX. This tweak had always worked perfectly for me until 2014 when I put FSX on the back-burner due to a lack of time. Does anyone know how to delete 3wirex program used by flightdeck 6? I have removed it plus flight deck 6 plus ai carriers but 3wirex still fires up when I start fsx. I want to get rid of 3wirex and flight deck software off my pc Thankyou for your help Steve

Hi I tried to run tutorial flight. (the less complex one) After setting up weights in external tool and pressing send to sim button, I loose sound and ability to move any levers/buttons. HUD works in a way that it appears on windshield but does not move as physical part. It basically breaks the simulation. Any idea what is the culprit here? EDIT: Please ignore, it paused lol

Hi all, I have been having an issue with FSX for a little while now. Occasionally FSX will randomly freeze but the sound continues to play. When I say freeze I mean that the picture stops moving but the plane is still flying. You can still move the view around and the sound will dynamically change and when you press the hotkey to go outside the outside sounds work. So the picture stops working but the sim is still flying. Good day all. Trying to figure out the reason what may cause aircraft to act weird while moving. Everything is Ok till I start pushback or taxi and at the first move the aircraft flips over and turning upside down. Pretty much all aircraft. I have just installed Manchester X from Aerosfot and it happens at that specific airport but not all the time. EGCC X has elevation issue with ORBX vector but I fixed that excluding EGCC from elevation in Vector configurator and elevation looks normal. Asked this question in Aerosoft forum and looks like nobody has such weird aircraft behavior. I am wondering if there is anything else which may case such issue. Thx for looking.

Hi avsim community. I'm having a problem with the ground at default airports where it glitches with the taxi ways and the runways. Also the gate taxi ways have glitches. I don't know if it's one of the settings I touched or something that I added. I added a ground texture upgrade from flyaway simulations and I think it's from there. Is there anyway that I can fix this problem either the settings or uninstalling something. I want to reduce this to so I can post youtube videos. Thanks! Levi

I just installed Just Flight's 146-200 300 Jetliner base pack in FSX. After the install I went to move the "146-200 300 Jetliner" folder from the main Program list to another "Fltsim" list/folder but got a "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk". Simply trying to delete the main "Just Flight" folder from the main Program list resulted in a "Cannot find the specified file, Make sure you specify the correct path and file name"! I was able to left click on the location folder I wanted to move the "146-200 300 Jetliner" folder to then clicked on "Explore" I then manually created a new folder and was able to move the contents of the original "146…

Purchased this beautiful plane, finally, from the Real Flight Shop link on the MJ homepage. Upon getting my confirmation email, downloading the installer, running the installer, entering my order info and other required info, the installer states: "No Order Found". Hi guys, I'm using a ssd and sometimes planes want to install to my C drive. I just redirect to the ssd and all works well.I bought the Metroliner and have a problem with the installation of this plane in FSX. First I couldn't get it installed than I did it manually and now I do have the plane installed but I got no gauges and no lights, in the cockpit and external. The gauges are there but not working. Only the altitude and speed gauges work. The buttons in the cockpit do switch to the different positions but nothing happens. There's a flickering 'Power Failure' light in the cockpit. Hello everyone. Surprisingly Aerosoft and UK2000 release at about the same time Manchester Airport product. If I'm correct they are different developers and not related to each other. I know it is still early but has anyone tried 1 or 2 of these and have comments/recommendations? I'm really interested in this airport. Just by the pictures I like the way UK2000 looks more, but what I really want is the better performance one. Thank you, Hoang Le.
