Today I had got the following error: Pressing Yes crashes FSX. Pressing No makes ASN shut down itself after it detects that it cannot connect to FSX. Yesterday, the same was running with no problems. Any help for this? Thanks. Rene

I used the tool available online to set up 125 Hz controls. Im not entirely sure of one thing - should I keep axis settings in sim or should I wipe them out ( especially for yoke)?

As described in title, for no discernible reason, the mouse view function (spacebar + mouse) has stopped working I now just get a white cross hair showing on screen instead of the standard mouse cursor when I use spacebar+mouse for dynamic cockpit view I haven't installed or removed any other software. I'm not using any 3rd party camera or view software Any ideas anyone? [EDIT] Solved it Somehow "Enable Controllers" became unhecked in controls settings. How did that happen? There's definitely a little green man that comes shipped with FSX10 and he seems to enjoy poltergeist activity inside my computer!

Hello all! I know this plane has its problems, but i still love it and i want to master it, but there is a thing i can't understand quite good. I've browsed forums, youtube and just can't find the answer to it. When sellecting the runway (for example ILS 14) and the arrival to it, the FMS provides me only with the last star, not the actual arrival pattern. How do you guys fly the arrival pattern? By charts, GPS, by hand? Or is there a way to program the FMS?

Hi guys, To prewarn you this error is hard to describe so ive done my best to word it and make it understandable I've only just started having this error and havent made any changes to the sim. When I load for example the 737 NGX it begins to initialize the systems (where it counts down from 20 etc) but cuts out at like 14 or so and it does this in my 777 also. Then when i try to move the camera with chaseplane the camera wont move and the cursor begins to flash and move position slightly as if it is conflicting but ive checked and im pretty sure it isn't. Hello I hope someone can advise me on some problems I am having with the Dash. I purchased the Pro edition last year but am only just getting round to trying it! First of all, I tried to register with the official forums but it says it requires an invitation code. I am probably being really dense, but where do I get that from please? Hi, I wonder how's it that they made such a wonderful depiction of Neuschwanstein Castle in Aerosoft VFR Germany 3 (South), only to leave it half buried in the ground?? I've tried every possible setting of mesh, to no avail. Is there any fix to that? Or alternatively, is there any scenery out there including a better Neuschwanstein Castle? Hi, I'd much appreciate any help on this matter: Once I've finally had FSX up & running (not without having had to overcome all sorts of difficulties), I think it might be time to uninstall FS9, which has been there, peacefully living along in the same HD so far. However, I feel a bit uneasy about such uninstalling, in case it might hurt somehow the FSX installation, registry keys, etc. What do you think? Thanks in advance, best regards.

Bonjour, In live camera control we have a lot of possibility to assign a button/Key Shortcut for example to Left, Right, Up, ... but it seems there is nothing for zoom in and zoom out. Am I right or does I miss something. Cheers Claude

I am wondering if it's possible to load a company route, and if there's any specific things I need to do in order to load one? Or is there a specific file format I should use in order to be seen by it like the Aerosoft Airbus?

Hi All, I recently just re-installed the Blackbox Prologue A330 onto my new PC and ran the preflight mananger to activate the key (which it said was successful) but once I loaded my A330 on the flight in FSX it said on the screens "An error occured during validation, licence file does not match this PC please run preflight manager to correct). Now I did run both the Preflight manager and FSX on Administrator on my PC. Previous times I have installed the aircraft on my PC there has been no issues whatsoever. I would greatly appreciate all advice and help, many thanks in advance Ciaran

It would be nice to have a payware airbus that doesn't have some issue that makes it not worth having. Like for instance one where the managed flight mode works. {aerosoft} Or one where the brakes don't stay on. {BBS} I have tried all the solutions for fixing the managed flight issue with the aerosoft airbus but nothing worked I looked up about the BBS brake issue and BBS says that this is a ​problem within fsx?!! and they may or may not fix this in the future. I have never had any brake issue with any freeware/payware aircraft before. I know other people are not having these issues I'm just babbling my frustration with these two payware aircraft.

So I have a problem with Flight Simulator X at the moment. When I open up FSX, Windows gives me a fatal error, and forces me to close it. I go through all my FSX files, and can't help but notice that my Texture folder is missing. If anyone knows where I can download something that will reinstall FSX completely (without a virus :I) that would be a LIFE SAVER! Thanks!

I'm just curious, why does Windows think it is protecting me by not allowing me to install an add on, lets say Active Sky 2016, I'm curious, what it thinks the program is?

When fsx's main screen is loaded, I get a message ''ezca for fsx has stopped working'' (twice), and when I close the program, the right trackir 5 sensor light goes out and neither ezdok or trackir are working. Same thing happens, if I manually run ezca after fsx is loaded. trackir and fsx are running as administrators. My fsx install is stable, until now everything was running fine (for years), few times trackrir wouldn't load properly but restarting the sim would solve the problem. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone else has the issue of engine/fuselage vibrations not working with the Dash? I even tried increasing the values in Ezdok up to 30 or so but the camera won't shake. With any other aircraft it works though.

my scenery library only lists 224 entries. but when i boot up I get a message about an error in area 613. there are most likely many more entries why are all not listed ?

Since I heard that --- AI is pirated software, I'll just go ahead and fix WOAI. I have always wondered why WOAI aircraft keep a 50 feet radius from me on the ground. The aircraft release the brake and inch forward over and over. It's quite annoying. And then when I leave the taxiway and move on to the runway, the aircraft moves along like nothing happened. This happens at every airport. I have a problem with the zoom of the camera views. This is a re-install and I had it working better before, but do not know how to fix it in the new installation. I am setting 0.3 zoom for the pilot view in my PMDG B737 (in "Cameras"), but the camera in the settings shows a very narrow view that is unusable for flying. If I actually use the camera, I can zoom out easily. It will remember even this setting. But 0.3 should be a wider view in the camera settings. So where can I change the default zoom? Is it in aircraft.cfg or in cameras.cfg? I already tried setting the Camera.002 (Virtual Cockpit) to another initial zoom. That worked. But only until I start OpusFSX…
