For those of you who have the VRinsight CDU II & MCP II. How did you manage to install the VRinsight panel? I tried for 4 hours last night trying to get the panel installer to recognize the aircraft I have installed (all PMDG aircraft). For some reason when I run the panel installed all it says is no aircraft even though it finds the FSX-SE root folder. Is there a way I can install the panel withouth the panel installer? What about a workaround? I plan on using LINDA for the MCP but it doesnt support the CDU. Would love to get this thing up and running sometime today but as much as I tried I might end up returning it :(

Hello, After tweaking/changing settings, now my FSX:SE performs very good, very smooth. The only problem I have is VAS. I have tried several things to reduce but I do not know if I have done all or I am missing something. Almost all my flights I restart sim before TOD but after landing I still use around 3.8 - 3.9GB VAS (using major airports from FSDT/Flytampa/Taxi2Gate/Flightbeam/LatinVFR). Addons: PMDGs/FSLabs A320X ORBX Global AS16 + ASCA Chaseplane For now, TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=2048. Use Simstarter NG to active only the airports that I use for the route. FSX settings as below. http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/comanch2 From the new Avsim Library on Friday I installed LFLS Isere, there being only 3 files I tried them in Addon Scenery scenery but the result was 2 control towers, so I deleted this and installed into Addon Scenery activatingin the usual way. The scenery at first glance looked OK but the ground texture was black, so I de-acticated and uninstalled the folder, but all other scenery whether Default, UT, Photo and Orbx are now a complete mess as youcan from the attached link. Hi out there, I am quite sure that this was asked before but I could not find a working answer. You know the HEAD MOVEMENT of FSX camera caused by the momentum of the moving plane. I am looking for a possibility to eliminate this completely but I do not have success. this movements are very annoying cause the panels are drifting away - stupid if you use touch screens - anyway stupid at all - no idea why it was implemented in FSX anyway. Hi, Recently I started getting a very strange problem that I never had before. Whenever I am able to see clouds or above/in clouds, I get like a 10 FPS drop. It was fine before I reinstalled my FSX. I run exact same settings as before and use default weather engine. I get about 20 fps on ground but when I'm in air and clouds are visible it drops to like 10 fps. Pls help. Hello all! I tried P3D for a while but I can't get it to run smooth without stutters so I completely reinstalled Windows 10 so all registry entrys are gone (boxed Fsx). Now I'm going for the Steam version. Let's see what the hype is about. But now I'm trying to install my Orbx packages and it can't find the folder. Same story for Aerosim 787... Can I change something in the registry so it will find my Steam folder? Or is it better to install steam in the default folder? I installed it directly on the C drive... Thanks in advance!

Hello, i'm Aaron and i was wondering how i uninstalling FTX central and PNW? it is not in the uninstall or change a program section, unfortunately my pc, even the beast it is can not handle the PNW scenery and just disabling it has messed up some terrain at some airports. any help is much appreciated.

I've been using WOAI and Taxi2Gate's OTHH for a while now. I've searched and searched and searched for a method to try and get WOAI to land at OTHH, shutting down OTBD. All the instructions I've found on this forum or on other forums are basically for other AI products and don't fully detail WOAI. I have the whole collection for WOAI, so editing each and every airline that goes to doha would be impossible. I've been taking and off and landing to an empty airport for a while now and I personally love seeing AI around airports. So, after roughly eight years of FSX, I got my first paid addon aircraft (PMDG's NGX) a bit over a year ago. Since then, I've acquired two more, PMDG's 777 and newly released QotSII. For a while, though, I've been wanting to expand, mostly for diversity. I'm more of a Boeing person (so, 757 and 767), but I'd like to get a few Airbus if possible, preferably the A320 series and A330. A regional jet or two would be nice, too. So, what are some of your favorite and most recommended aircraft, and why that over its competition? Also, will they work in SE? (I unfortunately had to change over when I moved last summer)

I currently own all of the PMDG 747 except for the new ' Queen of the Skies. It is always started ready to fly, not from cold and dark. Just wondering if it's worth buying the new PMDG Queen of the skies.If the answer is yes, then why?

I've recently found a problem with my fsx ...the view angle is been changed and is turned to be spherical or sth like that... please check these two pictures...you know this kind of view is not normal for FSX... Hi everyone I was hoping you could help me solve a weird problem that my FSX has developed.. The weird problem that i'm talking about is that I can no longer hear any engine sound in any aircraft other than the FSLabs Concorde As far as I can remember this problem only just appeared today.. So I was flying from Moscow to Germany, Frankfurt, and when I was over the polish territory, when I looked at the ground, I saw absolutely no trees, and everything was just a freaking palette of brown and white. When I was landing, only the scenery was visible. Everything else was blur. And by scenery I mean the airport Mega Frankfurt.

Hello, I have been using FSX:SE for quite a time now and just recently I found out there is an option to show texture/library missing, I gave it a try and surprisingly I have these pop up. The first one I have no idea what folder it is in, try to search with keywords "ALWAYSON" but does not show up anything. The second one I have no clue either, and do not know how to fix it. Has anyone experience this kind of issue and/or know how to solve it? I'm still trying to figure it out but want to post to hear some advice/help. Thank you Hoang Le

Hello, Any fanatic Soviet aircraft flyers? I have an issue with my KLN 90B GPS in the Project Tupolev TU-154 (Version 1.2.2, FSX). Only half of the display can be seen, no matter what I do. I have tried resizing, tinkering with the panel.cfg to no avail. (I have even tried loading it into FS Panel Studio) Any help is appreciated! :smile:

Greetings, I know Im oppening to many post, but the fever for flight sim is too high now :smile: , I just opened a post talking about the 3.4 GB is VAS starting a flight with PMDG 737 in latinVFR KMIA, the questions is, if I add Miami X city, my fsx will explode(OOM error)? can I fly to or from Miami with those tow add on to another aftermarket airport like KJFK without OOM errors? What are your experiences? Regards.

I'd like some people to recommend some good screen capture programs for FSX. The default screenshot is good but always turns out to be a .bmp file, which is a hassle because most programs do not support .bmp & Instagram does not either, meaning I have to always convert it, which makes everything hard. Snipping Tool is not an option.

Hi I'am about to purchase the Flight sim labs A320X for FSX Steam edition. My sim is FSX Steam, no addons besides REX 4.0 Texture direct which was included when I bought FSX in Steam. I will also purchase the following third party addons: ENVTEX(FSX/P3D), Steve DX10 Fixer/Coud Shadows, AS16. My question. Is it a good idea to invest for FSX Steam? Or should I invest in P3D v4 instead? ENVTEX I know will work for P3D although I mainly buy for FSX Steam Edition but AS16 can only be bought for FSX or Prepar3D separately and will be the only addon that I need to buy again if I should jump to Prepar3D. FSL A320 has upgrade path for P3D also. __________…

I have spent hours now trying to get FS Recorder to install into FSX-SE but to no avail, I have managed to get the installer to put the insert into the XML.dll but on starting up FSX-SE I get a compatibility message which from what I have read is normal but, on accepting that message I immediately get another saying Simconect unable to initialise Fs Recorder module. Can anyone out there please provide step by step installation instructions to stop me going insane. I am currently trying ver3.1.3.1 of FS Recorder as advised in all the articles I have read. i haven't touched fsx se, p3d and xp10 in over 6-9months but yesterday i decided to buy the A320 by FSLABS. This payware is simply amazing and addicting to learn and fly correctly. I own hundreds of addons across three sims, thousands of dollars spent on many other planes.....FS LABS just blew away all the competition with this payware....bravo devs!
