Good morning everyone. It took a while without entering the forum and without flying in the simulator. I made a flight yesterday and I could notice that in the PDF, the weather radar does not work. Which may be due? Has it happened to someone else?

Hello, I have a question. Here is the condition. I have a macbook pro installed with windows 10 and the i have a sony vaio laptop installed with windows 7 in it. I followed froogle's video and every step to share my macbook c drive with my sony vaio using a home wifi. the drive o the mac shoes that it is shared and also shown in the sony laptop. But when i try to open it in sony, it says that access is denied. i also did the permissions stuff. still no success. If anyone can help, it would be grateful. thank you.

Is it possible to use repaints made for the Real Air Legacy V1.5 in V2.0?

I was watching a youtube clip from a guy who was explaining the queen of the skies 2 in beta I noticed that he had a jet bridge attached to the aircraft when parked at the gate. Is this possible in queen of the skies 2, or is it dependent on the graphics of specific airports. Also when he was explaining the aircraft he could smoothly move anywhere in the aircraft. He could move in and out, pan up down, left right, but he could also move side ways. Where as I can only move in out, up down, left and right from one position. ie captains seat Is this possible to do? and how? Also after completing a flight plan with PFPX It creates a .WX file, and …

Greetings everyone, Today I will ask your help by asking you a simple question, what are your average FPS in FSX-SE? My computer is a: CPU: AMD FX 9350 Back edition 4.7 Mhz liquid cooled VIDEO: AMD MSI 390 8 GB MEMORY: 16GB corsair DDR3 1866 MHZ HARD DRIVE: 512 GB SSD + OCZ 256 GB SSD Windows 10. Products installed: FSX-SE, Fly-Tampa Montreal, Fsdt JFK V2, Fsdt Chicago O'hare, AS16 + REX SoftClouds, PMDG 737. In JFK in ground I get 15 fps in the virtual cockpit and around 22 fps outside In the air the average can go up at 28 in the virtual cockpit 35 outside, with some random 50 fps picks. Is this normal or low for my setup?

Anyone know of a fix for the garbled sound coming from AI aircraft when you view them flying. Panning around the aircraft gives a strange warbling sound. Sound is only normal when you pan to a specific location around the aircraft and stop. I seem to remember that this happens only after the Acceleration Pack update. Any way to edit or disable the sound cones or some kind of doppler effect? thanks David

Hi everybody,i'm in need to move FSX to a new ssd,i've already read the solution here on Avsim and Mr Pieke suggested to copy the entire FSX folder to the new drive, and subsequently change the drive letters in Windows so that FSX is once again on a drive with the original drive letter. I'd like to know the best way to copy the FSX folder,maybe Acronis true image or something like that? I've already made a backup of my entire pc using Acronis true image Idunno... Thanks in advance. ou can build 2 p.c's from the same components and install a version of FSX in both and do you think the two will behave the same way? No Way !! I recently bought a new computer with Windows 10. FSX runs outstanding on this machine. The problem I am having is I use the FriendlyPanels radios in the default C172 and the sound when click switches and buttons are odd sounding with the engine running. With the engine off, the sounds are normal. This is the only plane wiith this behavior and the only plane with these radios. I cannot figure this out. Thought, perhaps, someone has experienced this problem and might have some thoughts.

Hi, I was cruising over Germany in the Aerosoft Airbus a320, and I noticed that the autothrottle had the speed at 290 KTS. I searched online, and found out that the Airbus a320's real cruising speed (at the same altitute I was flying at) was 480 KTS. Is there a reason for the Aerosoft a320 to have such a low cruise speed? thanks.

Hi all Today I've reinstalled my PC and now i'm looking into what I shall choose for updating the base textures etc. I've some money to spend and that makes my choice more difficult. At this moment i'm considering FTX Global base in combination with OpenLC Europe and either FXT Vector or UTX. So, what will be the best combination? I've also a lot of payware (aerosoft/flytampa/BDO/Justsim/Jennasoft etc) addons which I want to install, but are they fully compatible with FTX, UTX etc? Hi, So I have recently installed FlyTampa Amsterdam Schiphol and it is AMAZING. There is so much going on around the airport; busses, airtram, ground service trucks, and so much more. The level of detail is off the charts, and I have only lost about 5 fps! My only issue is that there is hardly any ai traffic. With my airline traffic slider set to 50%, only 2 airplanes spawned IN THE ENTIRE AIRPORT!!! I tried waiting at the gate for more to spawn, but they never came. I am not using any traffic addons. Hello I'm looking for some advice please. Recently, some strange FSX behavior has started. I launch FSX and get the main FSX 'aircraft in window' form (with the FSX Trike showing as my default flight) I select the desired aircraft, location, time etc, and then pressing 'Fly Now' and the aircraft loads partially submerged. If I then return out to the FSX aircraft in window screen and re-press 'Fly Now' I get no problem, everything is displayed properly above ground. If I load a saved flight I get no problem, everything is above ground. What is happening the first time I launch a flight and what do I do to correct it please? Thanks in anticip…

Hello Please could someone advise. I cannot get Slew Mode to work in FSX SP2 Y is assigned under Buttons/Keys controls. When in the sim, I press Y and the Lat / Long / Alt etc co-ordinates come up top left in red. When I try to use keys to slew the aircraft, nothing happens. Forward and Back arrow keys, Number keys, Function Keys, nothing moves the aircraft. I have deleted the Slew key assignments in the Control Axes tab as suggested in another forum, but with no effect. I have EZCA installed and don't know if that causes problems? I have noticed that without even opening the EZCA studio, pressing the Num Key 2 starts the bing sound, as though I am…

Is there a fix for why when I'm parked with engines off there is still althe animation of thrust blowing behind my aircraft?

Hi, I have FSX steam on a cyber power PC with a GTX1070 and a AMD processor. However when I load the game now with almost any add on plane it starts the game with one engine off. I've gone through correct checklists to start it and I have even started other engines on the plane but there is always one engine that refuses to start. Whats going on? Can anyone help?

Hi All I am running FSX And have had Queen of the skies1 installed for a long time, and recently added Queen of the skies 2. And all through my years with FSX I have had the same issue, and no one can help. The issue is I cant turn engine sound off. All the cockpit and engine sounds work fine in Queen of the skies 2. However it dose'nt matter wether you start in a cold or dark state, or shut engines down manually The engines are constantly on. And its driving me nuts. I have pressed q key and tried all sorts of things without success, can anyone help. I am sure its a FSX issue and not queen of the skies Regards Paul

TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=? I've seen different numbers all over the internet but I could never find what it does exactly? Something to do with texture loading but I don't get the whole picture. FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=? As I could understand how lower the number, how higher the frames and lower texture loading, correct? I hate blurred textures so maybe better not to tweak it? Are there any re-painters out there willing to paint VirtualCol's Dash 8-Q400 into an Island Air Q400 that the airline has recently acquired? Hi! I tried Googling this question, but all I found were answers to questions about squares on water (where water is supposed to be): I've been noticing odd tiles of water in ridiculous places (e.g. in the desert--NOT real-life lakes--or even right next to the runways at major international airports). They usually go away when I get close, but I did just succeed in sinking into one and "crashing" right next to the taxiway at KLAS. Does anyone know what causes these and how I can fix them?

I've been swimming now for about five years and tonight I discovered a company that I never new existed. It's called PacSim. I got to thinking are there other companies out there that I should know about? I know about Fly Tampa, FSDreamteam, etc. but what about the lesser known companies. I am interested mainly the scenery but any addon that is worth mentioning would be appreciated. Thanks!
