Hi I have an issue related to tutorial flight PDF, page 33 says: "Plug in ZFW..... Now that this information is entered, pressing PERF key will give you an up-to-date readout (...) as well as predicted weight/fuel/endurance at our destination accounting for current winds." 1. I don' get any predicted weight/fuel/endurance at destination information. 2. I can only guess it's because no winds were entered by me - where to enter them? Tutorial doesn't mention that. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm trying to find a good map following app for my iPad to work with FSX:SE. Basically I want to try my GA aircraft's flight plan on a map. The two apps I've seen recommended the most so far are FSXFollow and RemoteFlight. Do these apps still work with FSX:SE are they still recommended or are their other apps that others prefer? Also, any other good FSX:SE apps to have for iPhone/iPad?

Hello Pilots, I am running FSX acceleration with may add-on airports including Taxi2Gates KSEA. Also I have FTX ORBYX Pacific Northwest scenery installed. I am getting this over-sized B737 as a HUGE static display located at Boeing Field KBFI: I have tried disabling everything linked to ORBYX PNW in this area including KBFI, also T2Gate KSEA has seemingly nothing to do with this. I have no other AFCAD files for this area to conflict. I am at a loss as to how to remove this. I am wondering if anyone has ever had this type of problem and if so any solutions. Love this aircraft. After I have set the autopilot at my cruise altitude the plane fly's level and follows the heading, however a yellow light in the turn coordinator gauge for trim down constantly blinks and beeps (for the most part). Sometimes the beeps are regular, sometimes it beeps continually, and sometimes it stops for a short while. Can anybody tell me why it's doing this? As a secondary question I can't into the A2A forums anymore for some reason. It keeps telling my I have exceeded my log in attempts even after my first log in attempt. Obviously something is wrong, so I tried to sign up again and it won't let me because it says my email is already taken. Ya…

What benefit is it to install and run the Nividia Inspector program? Are there benefits to the system as far as FSX-SE is concerned? Hi I'm using Logitech 3d Extreme twist for tiller nosewheel steering. It's very touchy, slight movement and plane goes in circles. I tried to decrease sensitivity value from 1.0 to 0.6 in MJC Control Panel but this does not result in sensitivity decrease, it works exactly like P3D broken sensitivity feature and results in limiting of maximum deflection. Is there any way to decrease tiller sensitivity?

I just purchased the hd dc10 and was wondering if there was an HD version of the original 70's Northwest Orient colors? I see the textures for the regular dc10 but it does not work for the HD version.

I am facing an extremely weird and frustrating problem. I have installed, used and flown my Turbine Duke V2 with integrated GTN 750 for about 4 month and absolutely loved it. A couple of days ago my config panel did not work anymore, telling me that this installation is for FSX only, not for Prepar3d. So I decided to reinstall the whole aircraft, When trying to do so the installation window told me right in the beginning that it cannot install this version as it is for FSX only, then the window closed. I've set my framerate at 30fps in game and I've read that 1/2 Refreshrate vsync helps for smoothness of the game. But I can't find the option in the Radeon Crimson software?

We're talking freeware here, not PMDG etc. I've been flying the iFDG MD-11 around for some time now. I've found a reasonable CF6 sound set, but that's just the turbine sounds. As you know, the MD-11 had female voice callouts - 2500, minimums, autopilot etc. Can I just add those into the sound cfg file under other sounds? Or, are some of the sounds tied into gauges on the panel? Thanks.

New to this aircraft. I just tried the Learjet 24 from a c/d startup without realism enabled and twice when dumping fuel from wing tips (used the pop up window fuel management and then the fuel dump buttons in cockpit) before landing...... the fuel flow gauge for the left engine goes to zero and the left engine shuts down. Never could get it started again. Right engine has no issues. Any ideas. If not ... any other sites to check for support for the Lionheart Learjet 24? Thanks for any help Jack

I just recently installed FSX on a new system (well it was new a couple of years ago!) after a 2 year hiatus and am having a problem with Norton AntiVirus attacking and removing various files, seemingly at random, from aircraft, scenery and some 3rd party instrument installs claiming that they contain a file called "WSReputation.1". I've been able to restore the affected files (which have all come from well known and reliable commercial addon products). But really becoming a pain in the neck! Although I resolved (in a roundabout way) the problem I was having with JF's 146-200/300 Jetliner, I decided to switch to QW's Ultimate 146 (which I have installed in FS2004). The price seems to have come way down from what I remember paying for it for FS2004 right after it came out. Since the combined cost of getting all the livery packs for the JF 146 equals the cost of QW's Ultimate 146 on Flight1 and you get all the RJ models in QW's Ultimate 146 to boot I figured the QW was a better deal! I've run into a problem with the QW 146 however. When a QW 1w6 (or any of the RJ models) is loaded the gauges don't load. Has anyone encountered this problem, too? Will …

Hello: I fly in FSX-SE on a Win 10 computer. I have found that my add-on, prop driven aircraft have the propellers disappear when close to scenery such as buildings, trees, etc. It appears as if the propeller goes behind the building, tree, etc even though I am parked in front or flying over. This does not happen with the original aircraft that came with the flight sim. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
