I am a user of SBGL Rio de Janeiro, SBGR Sao Paulo and SAEZ Buenos Aires from TropicalSim. I have been expecting news from them of efforts to support P3Dv5. Their forum has been out of use now for several weeks. Anybody know what is going on?🙃

I just found this VOX video which I found fascinating. It all started when Christophe Haubursin noticed an unusual geological feature in a satellite view.

OK, I will be blunt here.... We need to get the UK Flightsim Show kick started again this year. It will have been five years since the last one, and that is long enough. I want to see all of my flightsim pals again. I want to feel the excitement and anticipation again as I drive through the entrance gates of whatever venue it happens to be at. Please, JustFlight. Make it happen in 2024

Ok wonder if any one has a strange way to turn off your pc other than loss of power? This just happened to me during a 2 hour flight, my cat decided that she didn't want me to use the pc so she decided to turn the pc off mid flight. My pc case is a glass one with glass top and side and my cat always jumps up and sits on top since its warm. The on/off switch is on top and illuminates when on, and there is about a 1 inch gap between the top and side glass and she she just managed to just lazily just put her one paw on the switch, funny enough stupid me i was …

Well, I've somehow survived for seventy-five years now, although I must admit that it was a close call! For the third time in as many months, I had to be taken to CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs. First it was for a severe viral lung infection. The doctor's diagnosed COPD, but I still believe the cause to have been viral: RSV to be precise. The following month was a repeat of the first stay, but fortunately it only required three days before being discharged. Last Thursday, I had to get one of my fellow vets to take me there as I had become dizzy, lethargic with very low energy. I honestly thought I was dying. Well, I wasn't entirely wrong as I had develo…

Maybe they hope flights will become more of an adventure with passengers encouraged by flight crews to act more colorfully, instead of orderly? "The Federal Aviation Administration is recruiting workers with severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems, and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative." https://nypost.com/2024/01/14/news/faas-diversity-push-includes-hiring-people-with-intellectual-and-psychiatric-disabilities/

This is a different request than my previous post. We are seeking current, real-world wildfire pilots who can be available (on call), as part of our training program (fixed wing or helicopters). Good pay and no need to travel or quit your current jobs. You just need a home flight simulation setup using Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D. Interested in learning more? Checkout our website and email me at the following with the subject title "WildFire Pilot". [email protected] Thanks! Marcus

Hello, back in the early 90ies, FS 4 was also released for macintosh. I was wondering if anybody could confirm if FS4 for macintosh also works under Apple OS 9.2 (since it was origianally develloped for OS 7). Many thanks

As per title; What music do you like? I am currently up on a long flight in the 787 in MSFS and need to pass the time. Me, as a kid I couldn't be bothered about music as nothing really seemed to catch my fancy. However, one day I sneaked (is 'snuck' maybe more correct word here I don't know) into my big brothers room and found a couple of LPs that caught my eye. Amongst all the boring regular 80's disco I found two albums by Iron Maiden; "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" and "Powerslave". The art of the albums caught the eye of my adolescent mind (Eddie cradling his own heart in one of them). My dear old dad hooked up an old turn table and some speakers so I could …

Do you pursue a technically realistic airplane or do you have a 'loyalty' to a particular type? A320,or B787? etcetera Maybe you prefer a vendor? A company\livery? A route? ME - Passengers, as technical as possible, no particular type, livery\company any vendor gets a shot and I've found a few I prefer. (A2A, QW, iFly)

The footage was retained by the airforce after the flight and returned with 30% missing. 😁 I'm very suprised they allowed this.

Hey there, any of you sim pilots out there also real pilots? We are currently seeking student pilots or pilots that have recently graduated from a flight school (say within 0-2 years from graduation). The company I work for trains wildfire pilots and we want to get some feedback on your flight school experience. If interested in wanting to help answer a few questions, just send me a PM (I've been around these forums forever!) Thanks, Clutch
