This forum is for the discussion of things you might discuss when going into an airport hangar. Please make sure that your topic isn't covered in another forum before posting here. Galactic Newsflash! Yesterday, after literally years of struggle, allied human forces critically damaged the Thargoid Titan Supership Taranis. Over the last 24 hours since the daring human strike, thousands of corrosion-resistant Terran vessels gathered to witness cascading internal damage increase until the massive Thargoid carrier met its end at the same time Thargoid forces were reported to be fleeing en-masse from the Human inhabited "bubble" of the Galaxy. After years of struggle, Is this the true, final end of the war?

In the 1990ies, Alting Software developed the “scenery disk Netherlands” scenery package for Flight Simulator 4 for Macintosh. I am a great fan of FS 4 for Macintosh, could anybody help me to find this scenery addon?

I have been watching the LA Flights live stream from LAX, which includes ATC monitoring, and, as Lufthansa 453 A380 was taking off, I heard something unusual: “Lufthansa 453 contact departure. Good day.” “Contact departure Lufthansa 453 and good night LA Flights.” Is this as unusual as I think it is? Peter of LA Flights seems to have developed quite a good relationship with Lufthansa pilots.

Charlie Parker's "Now's the Time" is my all time favorite. Blue Train by Coltrane is the second. Listening to jazz piano trio in Jazzradio.com in the background while flying slow and low at night in MSFS is simply stunning, you might want to turn on the headphone simulation in the setting :D. Pretty sure I am not the only one here 😄

OK I have, However you are both completely missing the point, which has nothing much to do with war thunder. My point the future popularity of flight sim in VR of which war thunder is by far the most popular VR flight sim The point that videos like this Attract 1 million views. You don't get that kind of outcome from drawing conclusions based on ad populum arguments and following what microsoft does, especially ad populum arguments that completely ignore the freight train simulation accross the board is on right now. While you are all arguing if flight sim on XBOX or mobile "is serious", all current flight sims and…

(The top ten all time sellers starts at 2:19) For instance of Dicken's fifteen novels Two Cities is the most far fetched, implausible. His other's are fiction which could have really happened. The first person to write good realistic fiction was Jane Austen (about 1810). She doesn't make the top ten. Apparently people want to be swept away with the fantastic. C.S. Lewis: Lion Witch Wardrobe H. Rider Haggard She. 1886. Rumpole of the Baily stole his famous slogan "She Who Must Be Obeyed". J.R.R. Tolkien The Hobbit. Hey everyone, I may decide to review products that I buy for my flight simulation hobby but I am trying to figure out on what platform to do so. I know one can do it on Youtube but then I have to do record the video, use Adobe products to video edit and spend more time that I need to. Thinking that I post the review here but I do want to cover major areas like support from developer. Lets say support is garbage, I want to be able say that in the review. Will AVsim allow me to state that? everybody enjoys when everything is good but we all know in reality, not all products are created the same. If AVsim is not the place; where else I can post the reviews and …

I find most vendors offload customer support in various ways. They link you to FAQs, forums etcetera. Some vendors, besides making products you enjoy go out of their way to help. For me, Blackbox Simulations is such a vendor. I had trouble activating an aircraft they provide. They took me by the hand and walked me through the process. Email laid out each step to my wonderment and total satisfaction. KUDOs. I only wish they made more for P3D.

Looking at SkyVector there is a short lived but very large TFR tomorrow that stretches 360 miles north to south, 60 miles or so wide touching Nevada, covering half of Utah, slices across southeastern Idaho and into a small part of Montana, surface to 99,000' listed as a "Space Launch". Looks to be a reentry corridor for the Varda satellite, stated on some sites as a private commercial "mini pharmaceutical factory". Target landing spot is Dugway Proving Ground, site of US's biological and chemical weapons (former) testing / storage "where scientists work with the world's deadliest chemical and biological weapons in a top-secret military zone". Don't think I have seen a …
