I'm looking to get a headset with ANR and have narrowed it down to the Lightspeed product line as it appears that Lightspeed offers the best balance between features and cost. I am leaning toward the new 3G Twenty, but am also considering the 3G Thirty and the 25XL.Does anyone here use the 3G; if so, what are your impressions of it?Have you been able to find it any cheaper than at Marv Golden?3G Twenty - $430US3G Thirty - $550US25XL - $515USThanks for any help,http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jsnyder99/sigs/name.jpg

Just got home a few minutes ago, but when I fired up my computer and wanted to launch Outlook I got an error message, saying that errors were detected on file "(path) outlook.pst", and that I should run an application named "Inbox Repair" or something to that effect.Does anybody know what this is all about, and where I can find this mysterious application? My OS is Win 2000 Pro, and I am using Outlook 2000 as part of Office 2000.Thanks!!!!

Almost every time I play 3D Games, my Computer automatically shuts down. This time, after the computer has shut down, I pressed the Power button, but suddenly I heard a weird sound and some sparks...What could be the problem? It has happened since I got the new GeForce 4 Ti4200.

Hey everyone, The first (and only time) I ever flew in a 747 was on Aerolineas Argentinas going to Buenos Aires from JFK. I was only about 5, but I remember falling in love with the huge aircraft and flying in general. My parents also lived in Argentina for about 10 years, so I have a deep fondness and loyalty to the country, even though I am not tied by blood. I have done a few flights to Argentina and around the country, usually following Aerolineas' schedule. I decided I wanted to do a long haul flight in FS from LAX to EZE in one of their ordered A340-600s, but I am distraught to find that Aerolineas Argentinas appears to have ceased to exist! I have searched…

I just read an article about a LH Cargo crew on a round trip to the Persian Gulf, on to Hong Kong and back to EDDF. At one point, they were described to be doing a "brake start", meaning that they ran up the engines to full take-off power, and only then released the parking brakes. Is that really a recommendable procedure?Cheers,

I spent some time today at KCVG watching and listening to the operations (via portable radio). KCVG has a tremendous location for watching the planes. Knowing that this terminal is primarily centered around "Delta" type operations, I did see the usual Delta prime aircraft as well as the ubiquitous RJs.But what I found interesting was a new "Delta-linked" airline, in particular the planes identified (by both pilot and tower) as "Blue Ridge... (flight so and so). These were high wing (overhead) jets which closely resemble either the Fairchild 328Jet or the Aerospatiale (2 jet engines in either case). Regardless, these guys were banging in and out of KCVG with a high frequen…

A couple of weekends ago I braved some really crappy weather to attend Airfest 2002, hosted at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. Despite the inclement weather, the Aeroshell AT-6 aerobatic team and the Confederate Air Force were able to take to the skies for some brief entertainment.Hope you enjoy the photos!http://www.noticetoairmen.com/photos/showg...cat=509&thumb=1

Hi there, can anyone tell me, where the differences between 757 and 767 flightdecks are?I am going to build my own cockpit.I am thinking about a short/medium haul aircraft like 737. But if the 757 and 767 flightdecks are 100% identical, i will make a 757/767 cockpit (so i can fly as well routes from germany to austria as from germany to america.Another question: I have found very detailed information about the functions of the 737 cockpit on the internet. Has anybody links to such information about 757/767?ByeBodo
