"There appears to be some confusion over the new pilot role titles. This notice will hopefully clear up misunderstandings....The Landing Pilot is the Non-Handling Pilot until the decision altitude call, when the Handling Non-Landing Pilot hands the handling to the Non-Handling Landing Pilot, unless the latter calls 'go around,' in which case the Handling Non-Landing Pilot continues handling and the Non-Handling Landing Pilot continues non-handling until the next call of 'land' or 'go-around,' as appropriate."Michael J.

Some time back, an online acquaintence with whom I've lost touch, sent me a little file that put a revolving clock on my desktop. When you would drag your cursor around, the clock would 'break apart' and follow the cursor. The clock shows the time as well as the day of the week.I've been trying to find this clock for a friend. I've located a couple of webpages that show the clock, but I can't download it for use.Does anyone know where I can get a download of it that can be used offline? Thanks bunches-Lindy :-rotor:-wave

I just want to thank you for your time and effort in the past years for FSUIPC and the other products you have produced to make my hobby all the better. When I first started simming as late as FS2000 I had a great time just using all the default planes etc in FS2K2. It was amazing at what this thing could do and where I could go. Through the forums etc I learned about a neat little program called FSUIPC. Well I soon learned that FSUIPC was no little program. I could not believe the complexity that this rather large work of art held. To top it off it also amazed me that many of the payware add-ons were only able to make money because of your freeware add-on. I wondered at …

Since the usual way of boarding some regional jets is via the stairs, wouldn't that violate the Americans with Disabilities Act? How do wheelchair bound passengers fly on RJ's?

If you are using XP Home or XP Pro and have performance issues in FS or other games you might want to try this. I have not had any performance issues but see many posted here.It is a update to file, ntdll.dll only. It was already posted in update Rollup 1. The version of Ntdll.dll in this patch is 5.1.2600.1177 posted on 28-Feb-2003 and the version in the update rollup 1 is 5.1.2600.1217 posted on 01-May-2003. It will also be in SP2 which is in beta 1 now. If you install it now and then install SP2 it will not cause problems. The older will not overwrite a newer one. Copy and paste the link. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;815411I did notice that my …

I'm gonna make this very to the point and whoever has an issue with it can go live in North Korea where free speech is shunned upon. I've posted many many times in this forum and I do not have a history of being disruptive and I'm very supportive of this community and the great things that go on in it and I am not anti payware, go into the PMDG forum to see my support there.I was reading the announcement about (big shock) FSUIPC going payware. It's funny and accurate how someone in there posted that this hobby is becoming more expensive then golf, because it is. People post about someone putting in all these hours to develop a program and expect it to be free...well I …

Just reported in UK that we all have to sit for the whole flight now on any incoming flight to USA.We can go to the toilet, but we will be monitored to see that we sit down in our seat again! So, I guess we all get DVT now and that will be the hidden method of getting terroists before they attack! As a mid life male, with a tendancy to need to go every hour or so, will I be allowed?(lol)All getting a wee bit silly. Security check me 10 times, sit me next to a sky marshal, question me about anything, I will comply. You are after all protecting me and my family. But I am 6ft 1, with a 34" inside leg, and airline seats at the 32" spacing and I do not get on. So I spend at l…

Argh......I just need to vent. Hope you don't mind....About a month and a half ago, I had to replace my GPU fan because it decided to die on me. It cost me $15 or so, and I was happy. Then it all started....My computer experienced BSODs, random lockups, etc etc. They started out as something infrequent, but they became more frequent. Because of the proximity in time to my GPU fan repair, naturally the Ti4600 got the blame(sorry baby, you do good work! ;)) As it turns out, it wasn't that at all.So then my FS9 install got the blame. It wasn't that either. So then I thought it was my RAM...I had a bad stick of RAM but the BSODs kept on happening. So then I thought to my…

Hello, Has any purchased flight manuals from this place? I purchased 3 of them over a month ago. I received them about 3 weeks ago and they are copy protected, you must send a email to eFlightManuals to receive a unlock code. I have no problems with this. But to this date I still have not received any unlock codes. They also sent a wrong flight manual, I ordered the airbus A340 and received the Airbus 319/320 manual. I have sent several emails and even called the number on the code generation page which just rings and rings. They are located in Cummings, Gerogia. Just wondered if anyone else has had any problems with this place. Also does anyone know of any other be…

I'm looking for any information about the now defunct Air Illinois. I believe they went out of business in 1983 after one of their flights crashed. I've done numerous Google and Yahoo searches, but the only info I can find is about the '83 crash. If anyone knows of further info, I'd appreciate hearing about it.KP

Hey guys,Question- :) You know how when you go to download a file, a window pops up and says "Save" or "Open" and at the bottom is says something like "Remember my preference" or "Do not ask me again"- I accidently clicked that and now the option to save or open the file is gone, do you know where to find the option that opens the save/open box? Its getting really annoying having the files "open" all the time :(Thanks in advance and take care,Jason :-wave

I have a question on how SAS assigns planes and crews to its routes. Planes: do planes registered in Norway only fly to and from Norwegian airports, or also fly between other non-Norwegian airports, the same about Swedish and Danish planes? In other words, could one see a Danish-registered plane on a Swedish domestic route, or going from Oslo to Paris?Crews: how is the mix? Do cabin and cockptit crews on a given plane always fcome from the same country, or are they mixed? And, would they go on any route or fly only between "their" countries (i.e. Danish crew also going on Norwegian domestic flights or between Stockholm and Frankfurt for example?)Thanks for info

Hi guys,Anybody remembering that english (?) TV-series from the seventies?I was wondering if there are any ships and bases for Orbiter from this series?I remember I thought the Eagle transporter was soooo cool! I must have been 8-10 years old at the time. Even bought me an Airfix plastic model of that Eagle! Would be cool to drive it. That is if it exists somewhere?Nano, nano, ;-)
