I don't know whether this belongs in this forum or in the main MSFS forum, but here's my question:Out of curiosity, what percentage of your flights are VOR to VOR flights? In other words, instead of using Victor and/or Jet airways, do you find yourselves going VOR to VOR?Thanks.

Tom, Thank you so much for the pics from the Smithsonian's NASM! My wife and I are planning a trip to D.C. today and I told her that I wanted to go there and she said that she would not enjoy it. Then I saw your pictures, asked her to look at them and now she wants to go! You saved my vacation, thanks to you I can add the museum to our agenda. How long did it take you to go through the entire exhibit? Do you have any other advise for a visit there? Thanks!Philip Olsonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

  7. Hey guys, got a quick question that I'm not sure who to ask or what to expect, but if anybody would know its this merry band of folks we call flight sim enthusiasts. Well, actually you may not know, but I'll ask anyway since I haven't a clue about this sort of thing. My fiancee and I will be married on March 27th of this year. On March 28th, we're flying out to Savannah... very excited, only the second time that I will have flown, seeing three new large airports in the process and flying on Northwest for the first time, yadda yadda yadda... anyway, in the process of booking these tickets through Expedia... should I add my wife-to-be by her maiden name or by her new name?…

And so there is finally some info of the dreadful 737 crash 3 months ago off the coast of Egypt.According to the French newspaper Le Figaro pilots are to be blamed for this accident. They "thought" they switched the autopilot on but it did not 'work' so they were flying thinking the AP was engaged but it was not.The note is very brief and ambiguous (I am not even sure the translation is 100% correct either). Did pilots really switch the AP on or they only thought they did .. or AP failed to engage because it was defective ? Michael J.http://www.reality-xp.com/community/nr/rsc/rxp-higher.jpg

I am seeing more and more people here post with sigs that contain more than 1 image. I am wondering if the rule that said you could only have 1 image has been rescended or amended? I would like to add another image to my sig but I hesitate in doing it without knowing if the rule has been changed.Thanks.

It also announced a $1.3-billion order for 45 EMB-190 jets, which can seat up to 106 passengers, from Embraer. It also said it had options to buy another 45 a…

  17. Okay, Okay, I don't want to hear a litany of complaints and whines about the "Airport" disaster series of movies. I'm sorry but I love them, each and every cheezy, unrealistic, melodramatic minute of them.If you are like me, and can have a healthy sense of humor, this new DVD release is a must buy.The 2 DVD pack contains all 4 Airport movies. Starting with Airport, Airport 1975, Airport 1977, and my personal favorite, Airport 79 the Concorde. So mindnumbingly bad is "the concorde" that you can't help but laugh. The Concorde is one of those movies you compare with "Airplane" (made a year later) and wonder which one is the spoof? From the classic scene with George Kennedy…

Hello, I am an adult returning to school, and I am presently taking phyics. Recently, we were presented with the assignment of writing a report on the "phyics" of a device of our choosing,to be completed by the first of March. I decide to pick the APU ,being an avid flight simmer and hopes of a future in aviation I thought it was the natural choice. I have found a few sites; However, they are very vague, and I am looking for a indepth analysis , and a few close ups to back up my thoughts . So, instead of asking the librarian, I thought I would ask thos who share the same passion as I. If you have any great stories or sites that might have well constructed formula of presen…

CC Six Nations Tournament, DubaiUSA claim the final place in Champions TrophyWisden Cricinfo staffMarch 6, 2004The United States of America claimed the final spot in September's ICC Champions Trophy tournament, pipping Scotland by 0.028 on net run rate to win the Six Nations Challenge in Dubai. The USA overhauled Scotland's 206 to win by five wickets in the 48th over, to scupper the Scots' hopes. Meanwhile Holland, the tournament's overnight leaders, blew their chances by losing to the United Arab Emirates.
