"Most people who say this is complete nonsense are caught in this classic model of a caloric view". Out with the English breakfast and tea, down with bacon and waffles, and in with transforming light.

My all time favorite succession of aircraft has been the linage from the Beaver to the Dash 8 and everything in between, I would love to see a future Dash 9 or some sort of Dash 8 reboot as speculated in this article: https://www.flightglobal.com/airframers/de-havilland-eyes-2025-decision-for-possible-dash-8-production-reboot/159313.article

A pilot has died after a Spitfire crashed in a field close to an RAF station in Lincolnshire, officials said. Emergency services were called to the field off Langrick Road, Coningsby shortly before 13:20 BST on Saturday. The World War Two-era plane belonged to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at RAF Coningsby, the RAF said. It said a "comprehensive investigation" would be completed and it would not speculate on the cause of the crash. The RAF statement reads: "It is with great sadness that we must confirm the death of an RAF pilot in a tragic accident near RAF Coningsby today. "The pilot's family have been informed and we ask that their privacy is res…

😵 https://finance.yahoo.com/news/musk-sets-2026-optimus-sale-201023538.html "CEO Elon Musk announced that the carmaker will begin selling its Optimus humanoid robot in 2026. In fact, Optimus has already started performing tasks autonomously, like handling batteries, in one of Tesla's facilities, according to its earnings report. “Tesla will have genuinely useful humanoid robots in low production for Tesla internal use next year and, hopefully, high production for other companies in 2026,” the executive posted on X."

Not sure if in right forum: I have the Go Flight Interface and everything works fine with the PMDG 737. When I load the PMDG 777 and start the GFI the SimConnect on the GFI will not connect. Could this be a problem with the PMDG 777? Any help would be appreciated. Regards Konrad

I have been a long time user of Kaspersky a/v software primarily because it is easy to turn off/shut down when I want to start a flight, so there is no interference. Unfortunately, the USA has a ban on Kaspersky coming into affect soon, so I need to find new a/v protection. I want one that I can easily turn off & shut down when I choose to do so. Anyone have a good recommendation? Price is not that much of an issue, as long as I can control when it is running. Thanks.

Was using Plan G, and got frustrated with it. Ripped it's face off, deleted it's folder from the hard drive, and emptied the recycle bin. OK, downloaded a newer version. Installed it on a different hard drive. So far it's normal, then... When I opened the new version, there was the flight plan I was working on when I got frustrated because "Plan G is not responding.". How, why, what the ? Danged if I know, Batman... My sister claimed we shouldn't have networked computers. She said they stay up nights talking to each other about ways to drive us crazy. I think she was right! Sue, the bewildered
