The evil Christmas Cat is coming for you, unless you got new clothes for Christmas. Maybe Levis and Adidas originated this legend?

Hi, I usually fly within Europe, so I am wondering if there a document / website that demonstrates the differences on procedures and phraseology in North America (US and Canada). I used to fly sometimes in the US but thats more than 10 years ago, I think they have changes some stuff in phraselogy.

This is NOT about the cars. This is about the car commercials. I don't care about the specific cars involved. I like cars. This is a Volvo commercial from September 4, 2024. Somehow we missed it at the time. After seeing the Jaguar ad, I believe it is pertinent. Turn on closed captions to get the full meaning of the dialog. You may or may not shed a tear or two. I did. PETER’S STORY My name is Peter. When I was a boy growing up I lived in a small town called Bethlehem. My father owned a flock of sheep and my brother and I had to tend them. My brother was older than I was so he tended the flock during the day and I tended them at night. There was a small shed at the bottom of the hill where our sheep grazed and inside there were always some animals and in the center of the shed was a hay manger. In one corner of the shed I made a pallet of hay and during the night I would sneak in there to get out of the cold and maybe take a nap. One evening while I was tending father’s sheep I noticed a man, and a woman who was ridi…

" Social media firms will use facial recognition age checks to “drive out” under-age children from their sites, under plans to be announced next month by Ofcom. In an interview with The Telegraph, Jon Higham, the online regulator’s head of online safety policy, said platforms would be expected to remove potentially millions of children from their sites by using “highly accurate and effective” age checks. The largest tech firms will face multi-billion-pound fines under the Online Safety Act if they fail to protect children " The sort of thing that we might look to in that space is some of this facial age estimation technology that we see companies bringing in now, whi…

I'm not usually one to enjoy mobile games much and I'm very picky when it comes to any aviation themed games but I haven't been able to put down "World of Airports" since I stumbled across it a few days ago. It lets you manage real airports with quite real ops, so the aircraft are accurate and have correct liveries and airlines for the geography. The graphics are very realistic and create a nice atmosphere. You start at Innsbruck and there's a day/night cycle and dynamic weather - right now it's snowing in-game for me. When temperatures drop low the aircraft even start to get de-iced before pushback. Great way to pass the time during those long cruise phases. For me …

This is not my question but a question of one of my most near friend who is struggling to survive in the sim world. He doesn't know anything about flying. He had equipped a FS9 sim in his system some months ago but literally it appears to him just like a dark world. Although he completed some flight training courses available in the sim but neither makes him able to fly flawlessly. He really likes the 737 but had never been able to take it off!!! So, I will request everyone in this forum to give some tips and advice on literally how to fly an airplane like a pro or just flawlessly. Also would he ever be able to fly 737 in near future? Thank you!

I think our governments know more than they are telling us for whatever reason. Like the UFO phenomenon they more than likely know a lot more than they are willing to share publicly. Maybe some day they will tell us the full story of both phenomenon....maybe. Meanwhile just jump up and down and rant and rave and write your congress person. Noel
