Any one having a problem with playing MSFS2024 with error message on Direct X12? Tried AMD Updates and re-install . All the videos I have watched say my machine should be ok . I'm running a Minimum Rig AMD Ryzen 5 3600X , AMD Radeon RX 580 , 8 GB RAM...... Runs fine on XP11, XP 12, MSFS2020 with multi monitors and average 20 FPS Which is fine for my use in IFR training . Appreciate any thoughts you may have..... If you recommend an upgrade , what CPU/ GPU/ RAM configuration would you recommend? Thank You very Much WVSF-VFR

I know it's not correct to post this in Avsim here. But I have been struggling since a long time as flightsim.com isn't approving my account. My friend tried to sign up 3 days ago but he didn't receive any email till now and thus he cancelled his registration. Yesterday, I signed up myself in the flightsim.com website but till today I haven't received any confirmation mail. I am also not able to download important files from that website. I don't know why those guys are not approving me. I just wanted to know if there are some flightsim.com admin or moderator present in Avsim here? If yes then please let me know who it is. I really need help in order to complain those guy…

Martin - If you made it down here, the above is a sample of American humor I don't think you're going to be banned. I get why a posting a gigantic fist could raise eyebrows, but it probably was a gentle reminder not to let the discussion go south (as it eventually did, though not because of you). I wouldn't want to see you banned; to me, you're what the military calls a "target-rich environment" and I would miss reacting to your posts. But don't let what I think and the appreciation in the other post for you go to your head. Heed the wise words that some Old Guy back in the day who said: "Remember, Caesar, thou art mortal."🤣😂

I use Firefox but all browsers offer optional extensions. When I click on Extensions, the extension list drops down like in the picture. In the picture are all the suggestions Youtube is offering. Notice they are all widescreen, none are shorts. There are no "shorts" anywhere on my youtube. Because I slid on the toggle switch for Youtube Shorts Block to on. (I also toggled on Return Youtube Dislikes so that I can see both thumbs up and thumbs down numbers underneath YT videos. By default Youtube no longer displays the thumbs down, This extension restores them).

What did you get, boys and girls? I had some money, early, from my son and daughter, as I'm in the process of converting my PC, that weighs five million tons, into a Mini ITX job. Ncase M2 case, Corsair SFX PSU, Asus Mini ITX motherboard. Had to get a smaller Noctua cooler as My favoured NH-D 15 is too big. Luckily my birthday is on Jan 10th. 😁
