Would just like to mention a really small, but very important (IMHO) experience with the developer of SPAD.neXt. His 'splash screen' can be a bit of a pain when launching simultaniously with FSX or P3D opening screens. When I mentioned this on his support forum, he explained why the splash screen was there, and it made good sense, BUT at the next update, it will optional to show. THAT is what I call a 'listening' developer. 10/10

My husband DarkstarF16 was an avid virtual pilot and had built himself a cockpit at home with a high tech PC I brought him for his birthday in Feb this year. Sadly he passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly on the 3rd December. I will need to at some point find a new home for all his equipment, because although I knew he loved it. I knew very little about it. I am looking for some guidance on how to find the right home for all the technology he had. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for also taking the time to reply. Jo

Hello! I've ordered ORBX's Europe LC und Global Vector at the FlightSimStore for 71,40 AUD (at FlightSimStore told me that these are 47,00 €. Steam selling Piper Aztec, produced by Aeroplane Heavem. In Steam announcement, they are shown only Aztec external image, not panel images. Against negative reviews saying that panel does not work properly. On Facebook Aeroplane Heavem meeting postings not very "friendly" about relationship problems. https://www.facebook.com/Aeroplaneheaven Someone who bought the product can give opnion? Aztec panel images also are welcome. Finally, someone has an explanation about what happened between Steam, Dovetail and Aeroplane Heaven? thank you João Alfredo

Been simming for sometime but, I mainly stick to ILS landings and when I do visual approaches it's usually to airports I'm familiar will. I run into problems on visual approaches and landings at airports I'm less familiar with. Obviously, ATC will guide me to a certain flight level but once the approval is given for landing I'm on my own. Don't really have problems lining up with the runway but, I always have issues with altitude. Question; is there a standard way to use the A/P (VNAV) on visual approaches? Just to help with altitude? I know about the FPM calculations but is that what your guys/gals do? Or, do you really just fly it by hand? If so, do you p…

Has anybody had problems re-downloading products purchased from PC Aviator ? The reason I ask is that I have made 5 purchases over the last 3 yrs from them....to my complete satisfaction. Here's the problem. After setting up my new computer(ADDED cpu;hdd;mb) I proceeded to my order history section on PC Aviator. Only 1 of the 5 orders showed a "download link".In their FAQ it say to re-download by clicking on the link in your order....good for 10 yrs. I've sent an e-mail to PC Aviator's Customer Support concerning this a week ago...havn't heard a thing from them ??....just wondering. Skip D

This happened just yesterday, reports pilot landed very long, just on the "hump" at the middle of the runway, and then the runway goes downhill so he had no chance. No injuries and no major damage to the aircraft, very lucky

Hey Pilots! I think this is a good time to thank you guys for sharing a great way of live with me. Flightsim. Without the community, flightsimming would be nothing. At least FSX is a beast that I couldnt ride without so manny hints from forums, downloads, videos... from the community. As long as there is a community, there will be developers for great planes like the NGX, the BUS and "tiny" props like the C182. I dont have a clue how many hours are done for awesome freeware projects, like planes, scenerys, utilitys, tools... And thank you AVSIM guys especially for providing a homebase where we can land and meet other pilots. Hugs for all and alwa…

I've seen in some Airliners.net discussions (specially when there is a runway overrun) that people post the METAR at the time of the incident. I can find the current METAR for an airport, but where can I find an older METAR?
