If you have a smartphone you probably have a password vault of some type. I use mSecure. I made an entry FSX Keys and then entered all the payware addons and their keys and this information syncs across all my devices. This way I don't have to open email and search for the appropriate key when I need to reinstall. Makes life a lot easier.

What just happened is completely strange to me and I dont trust what's going on here, but maybe Ive been missing out on some new practice within the FS community? Has anyone else ever been asked to show proof of purchase, in other words an invoice with information that is personal between the buyer and the seller, for other purchases, from other companies than the product you're asking support for? To me this seems very weird, I dont see any reason why support for one product would have any need for any information about a product that is not the product, or is even from the same company, than the product I'm asking support for. Got some extra time to kill this week and I'm looking for good documentaries on Boeing planes available on Youtube, Hulu, or Netflix. Particularly on the 737 or 787 but anything Boeing will do.

I can't understand why people rate Steam so highly - my experience has been the opposite! I've tried to register on the Steam forum many times but have never received the required activation email from them. Research suggests that there are loads of others with the same problem and there doesn't appear to be any way of contacting Steam to get this sorted. Steam certainly has 'issues' and don't seem to care much about their customer base.... Toni.

i purchased a new computer with windows 10 as the operating system...i am having troubles getting to load up airports with different airlines...does it have to do something with the operating system? i have the installer WoA...I am using Flight sim X deluxe edition? does anybody have any good ideas

But I know she has bugs. Please, if you own her I would love to hear your prognosis after the resent up date install. Besides a whole different flight deck, FMC for a Boeing man to learn, I'm still worried the bugs would cause me to hanger my 60 bucks. Opinions appreciated.

Could it be that the reason for the Flight Simulator delay is that DTG are building in VR? Now that would be a game changer and a way to put them ahead of the competition. They've said previously that they have a long history of working with VR. Raj

I had decided to reinstall my Carenado because of an issue with the center MFD. From there things went rapidly downhill. I ended up reinstalling FSX completely including the error 1607 syndrome. Oh my, great way to spend the evening, right? I am fairly computer savvy having owned one since the late 1970s. Registry entries, ini files etc. I finally get FSX reinstalled - whew. I install my sweet EMB505. Here we go... I get it running and as soon as the g1000 initializes I get OOM. Pardon me? Never had that before, NEVER. Uninstall FSX, again. Reinstall and verify it runs with all sliders at max on a stock airplane. No issue. I install my …

I've been having issues with my com panels being blank. This affects all default aircraft and the Aerosoft Airbus a320 series. I have reinstalled FSX but this hasn't worked. I have attached screenshots below. Some help would really be appreciated.

Hi, On some ILS charts for some Airports, there's two different CAT I minimas, one is normal, and the other one usually has a RVR minima of 400m and it says LTS besides it. So, what does it mean, and how does it affect Aircraft in such way that it makes them able to have a lower RVR minima? Thanks in advance!

A couple of months ago there was a new addon released, called World Terrain, that created photoscenery files while flying. They got their own forum on Avsim and there was a website to download the software, but I cant seem to find either one of them, anymore. Does anyone know what happened to this promissing addon?

Hi. Wonderful news about the release of FSW. Last year, DTG developers asked AVSIM forum members to complete a survey and submit their requests for features and bug fixes they'd like to see in the new sim. I and many others took the time to provide this to DTG, and I'm curious which of the features and bug fixes that I requested last year(see below) have been included in FSW. The sky in DTG FlightSchool seemed to be hard coded to a great extent. Im hoping that sky and clouds can both be completely changed at the desire of the user because sky and clouds are my hobby and what I like to tinker with. Some mess around with painting aircraft or modifying airports or whatever it is they do but I like to mess with sky and clouds and I don't want my hobby squelched in the new sim. So...Will the sky and clouds be completely changeable by users? Will they be as changeable as FSX skies and clouds are? thanks in advance.

Greetings! I am getting a lot of Avast & MSE *PUP* virus warnings on FSDT and Flightbeam airports plus Couatle/Addon Manager.??? Anyone else?
