Personally, I think the man was in the wrong. This assumes he was to be put up in a hotel by United for the night to catch the next day's flight. http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/10/travel/passenger-removed-united-flight-trnd/index.html

why is there so much pressure on DTG? im just happy that they have the legacy FSX code and ported it to 64 bit, moreover, are willing to squash all the bugs and memory problems (which is a huge undertaking) and at the same time they are listening to the desires of us long time flight simmers. who is expecting miracles here? im just happy they are willing to take this on and work with it? is flight simulation become more about whos the best platform and how people feel about it? whatever happened to just the thrill of flying in a simulation? where did that go? are we all just stuck on the best platform and whos got the best eyecandy? wher…

for anyone waiting on this classic. I passed on the BAC-111, here's hoping that this will be a little more polished but being released right at Thanksgiving weekend makes me a bit skeptical. I hope it wasn't pushed out the door too soon. Will be looking for feedback from the early adopters especially anyone who has experience with the F-27 previously released.

It's astonishing the things one can find while simply browsing for something else entirely. Here is a new "YouTubeRed" full-featured movie that is truly horrifying! Imagine a future society that is over populated, and the government's "solution" is to terminate with extreme prejudice all high-school students who "fail" a standardized test, with no second chance allowed...

I know this question has been stated before many many many many times. As far as I know PMDG (others too) used to point out Airbus' unwillingness to cooperate with simulation developers. But things change - take a look (who hasn't seen it already): http://www.airbus.com/newsevents/news-events-single/detail/officially-licensed-projecting-airbus-brand-and-image-in-the-computer-simulation-market/ Whoever will get a call from them, it's defintiely a good thing for flight simulation!

I hope DTG learned a harsh lesson concerning Flight School. A harsh lesson learned should lead to better results the next time, its up to DTG. Incomplete, simple, easy, unsophisticated, "for beginner", etc.. flight simulators do not and will not succeed. (I'm blue in the face! lol) No matter what promise they hold, no matter how nice they look in VR, no matter how inexpensive they are, no matter how much "gamers" and/or "marketers/CEO's/corporate" (who know nothing about flight simulation!!) call for them. The dead stats on Ready for Takeoff: (even if it were free it would still not fare much better and it would still fade fast) https://steamdb.info/a…

I'm very glad to see here in the UK that this practise has now been made illegal and will carry a jail sentence. It's taken long enough for our Department For Transport to do this but finally they have. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-38871180 What sort of an idiot does this "for a laugh"?

The Pilot's Software site (authors of FS Global mesh) has been inaccessible for a few days. Anyone know what's going on there ? Hope this is the correct place to ask about this. If not I apologize. Please redirect me to the proper forum if necessary. Pilot's Software doesn't appear to have a dedicated forum here at AVSIM. Thanks, Ken B.

I know, I know... I had real reservations about posting anything. The good news is they seem serious. The not so good, I guess, is it requires NavDataPro and doesn't support Navigraph. I'll be very interested in seeing if they make the date and hearing reviews.

So, started feeling a bit ill on Wednesday last week, coughing and in quite a bit of pain. Numerous people tell me "I look like sh**" and offer to call me an ambulance, but I refuse saying "it'll be okay." Today I get admitted to intensive care after I pop over to the hospital across from my house where they discover I have a collapsed lung, pnuemonia, bladder infection, and all kinds of other stuff. They are currently doing all kinds of blood, urine, swab etc tests lol.

Watching TED is one of my guilty pleasures. To me, stuff like this is far more interesting than anything on network tv, and fortunately for me I can watch it on Youtube (popcorn optional) and not spark a television control confrontation with other family members, who find this sort of stuff about as interesting as watching liver slide down a wall.

Hi I hope that I can get help on this problem of mine?. I have the Real Air Duke 60 V2. for FSX, as you all probably know that after 16 years Rob and Sean have closed the doors on very friendly people and exceptionally good products?. Now here is my problem. I have now gone over to P3dv3 and ported the Real Air Duke 60 v2 (It was only coded for FSX and I like it better than my Duke v60 Turbine.) over using the Migration tool and every thing worked fine until a few weeks ago. When for some unknown reason, when lowering the under carriage, the starboard side wheel fails to lower and if I look from underneath the aircraft there is no wheel showing in the well. Once lan…

Every once in awhile, I bump into what I think of as "One man wonders". Flight simulators done as labors of love by a single person who I always assume must have a huge, bulbous head to contain their ginormous brain, kind of like the aliens in this Island earth. Anyways....... I've come across another, by the name of Project Wingman, that looks pretty nice! May be worth a look. https://rb-d2.itch.io/wingman https://goo.gl/q1zmtU

N106US ditched in the Hudson River on January 15, 2009. It's pilot was Sully Sullenberger, it's first officer being Jeff Skiles. It was owned by US Airways at the time, and ever since it flew its last flight on that fateful day, the plane stands in a museum in North Carolina. Never been, but I sure want to go there. Every since AA and AWE merged, does the tail registration N106US go to American Airlines, or under a US Airways title? It's brothers (N105US and N107US) are both repainted under the American name, and I want to know, does N106US also go under American now?

Just saw today the Ruskies are still probing our national defenses with the Bear bomber and got my curiosity up with why they stuck with a 65 year old turbo prop for their main heavy- nuke bomber and didn't come up with a counter part to the B52. Wikipedia says it first flew in 1952 (as old as I am) and will stay in service until 2040. Must be some plane. I remember many years ago (yes Maverick and Goose, this really happened) seeing a video taken by one of our interceptors trailing one so close you could see the face of the tail gunner and the dude holds up a Pepsi. Or was it a Coke?
