Just a heads up about this new computer threat that is rapidly growing. The linked article covers the basics, but the main thing I wanted to convey is that as a general rule your antivirus does little against this. However, just as with AD blockers, there are browser extensions you can add to combat this. Its up to the individual to decide if it's worth doing, however. (Good luck out there!) Hi, I keep get a error 403 when trying to get on fspilot website. I am not just getting this code on my computer but also on my IPhone and IPad. Is this just me or are other people getting it? Thanks

Thanks to introduction by papa my 6yr old grand loves airplanes. I gave them my old rig and thought I would go over and install a sim for him. He has been simming on my lap since he was old enough to sit up and understands a good bit of the fundamentals of flying though he's just learning to read. He knows a little about turn coordination, stall avoidance and recovery. and a little about instrumentation. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best sim for a little guy. Hello everyone, as a fellow aviation enthusiast I am currently interested in changing careers. I would love to find something to do at a big international airport. But my career degree has nothing to do with aviation. I am a graphic designer and have been doing it for many years. I have no interest in continuing and want to change jobs. I use P3D v4.1 and have recently upgraded to a PC with high end components. I had been using a Logitech Gaming Headset on my old laptop and have since learned that this USB device does not make use of the audio capabilities of my MSI Z270 motherboard. The gaming headset is a device unto itself. I am looking for advice on a good quality headset which I can plug into the audio jack of my motherboard in order to experience the sound capabilities of the board. A microphone is not a necessity. I have a problem when I download last version of pmdg 777-300 from my acount and instal it,there is no 300er in oc to download liveries. I yust find the mesage in oc. You have instal the pmdg product for fsx:se bat I have normal fsx.

As far as I can tell, a figure of 15000 lb is quoted.This is great and would seem to fit with the ability of carrying 3 Jeeps and personnel (a Willys Jeep empty is just under 2000 lb). However, to get anywhere close to that in FSX means the plane's fuel load is minimal. I know that plenty of aircraft do not, or cannot even carry full payload with full fuel, but the numbers seem a bit odd. With 100% fuel, the payload is less than 5000 lb. From wikipedia, C46A data MTOW is 45000 lb and empty weight is 30669, yet 15000 lb is stated as the cargo capacity, but that would appear to include the fuel too... Playing about with a freeware C-46 piqued my interest about "the Hump" so I generated a quick & dirty FSX plan from Chabua to Wujiaba (Kunming's airport up until 2012) just going from the available NDBs and VORs in the sim. This should give me a "feel" for flying over the inhospitable terrain I think. I've no idea which beacons were available near the close of WWII, but surely some form of direction finding was used - it wasn't all on a paper map which is no use in IMC Ignore the fuel burn - that's for the default Cessna!

Hi all, I had a Windows 10 (64bit) update and FSW update last night to the latest builds of both and now the mouse cursor shrinks to a minuscule size when using the programs settings. In-game the mouse is "normal" size when clicking on aircraft button/click spots etc, but shrinks as soon as it is moved off a click spot. Edit: BTW way same happens in Outlook 2016 when clicking over a link in an email message only. Thanks in advance Al.

I'm looking to join a community (great or small - just active) to do group flights with. I dont mind if they do GA, heavy metals or a mix. I need the social interaction to keep simming interesting. About me: 39 yrs old male from Norway. I speak English fluently. I have been doing flight simming for about 16 years now, and I own a HTC Vive that i use for simming regularly. I am used to flying on vatsim, and I also use FS Cloud from time to time. I own both p3d v3 and xplane 11 and I have a slew of addons for both of these. I prefer to hang with mature people (mature in their heads, not necessairly old in body :) ). Anyone know about something like this?

On the FS Real Cockpit Effect product page on FS Pilot Shop and Sim Shack it does not say that it is compatible with P3D v4. Does anyone has any experience using this addon in Pepar3D v4? I think that there might be a good chance that it would work. Thanks
