Usually I check the threads and activity before I go to bed here in Arizona, since many of my friends here are from overseas and awake. Wondering if everything is OK. I am not simming right now, I have had a curious issue. When I am on the Internet, my controller in P3d goes haywire, I can't trim my aircraft, as if something is controlling my joystick. As soon as I disconnect, things return to normal. Can hackers get into the hardware of our controllers I wonder. I have a strong firewall, have never seen anything like this. It does not happen in Xplane11. It seems especially a problem with Carenado aircraft. Did not know whether to post this in the hardware forum…

Hi there, I wanted to know if it was possible to prevent my account from being indexed by search engines such as Google, is this possible? I know it's a bit of an odd question.

I saw the video on CNN and found it intriguing, so I went to their website: https://www.hoversurf.com/ There's also a company called Ehang184 that is doing something similar, out of China. Batteries only last for about a thirty minute flight, enough to commute to an office twenty miles away, but I would not want to be onboard when the battery drops dead. But it begs the question, who is going to manage all such traffic, and what if the grid goes down. I would rather place my trust in a traditional copter or prop aircraft. We can't have skies crowded with these things like little insects flying around, the risk of collisions would be sky high. But I thin…

Its been a while since I posted here, but I have some very good progress done on the Zenith 701! Follow me on Facebook to keep track of the progress. In-game shots will be posted soon and I update at least weekly. Gibbageart Facebook The Zenith 701 is a fun little aircraft for people who like "low and slow" and will have some very nice features! Zenith Aircraft is helping me out directly, even so far as to give me 3D Cad data that allows me to model this aircraft accurately within ~1mm tolerance. Its not often us 3rd party dev's get that chance! Kevin "Gibbage" Miller

Here in Canada we have a history of providing our men and woman in the armed forces hand me down equipment other countries are in the process of retiring. The people in suits in Ottawa don't think its important for our service members to have the best. While Canada waste money buying Australia's used F18's , Australia with a smaller population then Canada spends 10 Billion dollars a year more on defense then Canada. Australia has spent the last 10 years modernizing its Navy, Army and Air force, http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/australian-fa-18-fighter-jets-boeing-1.4349023

Hi. Honestly, I tried to post this on Just Flight Forums but it would give me Gate TIme Out error or something like that. Any help will be appreciated. 1) Does AH2 support airliners' operation type of things? I'm not fond of Cargo Ops but regular PAX scheduled services. Mind Delta or American and you get the idea. 2) If I buy a licence for the Early Access AH2, is it confirmed I will have access, free of charge, to future updates including Full Release once this is is done? 3) What's the planned Released Date? It said the roll-out would be on 2016 then it was early 2017, but so far, Oct-17, no release. Thank you, Best Regards,

Bit of musing here apropos of nothing in particular but the sims I use at the moment are FSW and also Aerofly FS2. I am constantly finding that they are almost complimentary in that what I am unhappy about in one is usually present in the other. Aircraft for example for example. No jets or military planes in one but plenty in the other. No world wide scenery in one but the other has it all. I think that tells me that we need diversity and should not be "one eyed" in our sim choices. I do not know if we will ever have the complete sim for everyone but I do know that not everyone would be happy even if there were such a product.

Like a few others I bought the very first FSW compatible scenery which was NYC X V2.0 and I am happy with it although there are no airports in that scenery it functions very well and is extremely detailed. Yesterday I downloaded the Washington X demo and as Drawyah pointed out back in August I found that there is an option to install to FSW. However, because that does include an airport scenery KDCA Ronald Reagan International it does not work properly. You can fly to KDCA but not from there. Try flying from there and I get a CTD. I suspect this is to do with no jets? If anyone knows, is Drzeweicki fully onboard with FSW? Getting info out of them is like milking a bu…

If you haven't seen the major networks, my former home of Napa is surrounded by wildfires and has experienced winds greater than those of hurricane Nate. The vineyards are OK, they serve as a natural firebreak, but many of the neighborhoods where my friends live are gone, a major dairy is gone, my favorite park, gone. When I lived there in 1981 we had a terrible arson caused wildfire, but less than a quarter of the size of this one. The firefighters in 1981 kept the fire from spreading into the southeastern neighborhoods, but they couldn't with this week's fires, they could only work on saving lives. I saw the 1981 fire which burned within four miles of my home and s…

Has anyone encountered disappearing buildings at airports? It happened to me today. Taking a short flight out of KCEU in the Mirage, I flew straight out about 10-15 miles, then turned back and landed. I didn't notice the builings were missing until after I landed and taxied off the runway. Then I taxied to the ramp and it said I crashed into a buildng. I have seen a post similar to this, but cannot remember which forum and I can't find searching. Thanks!

Hello, Im looking for an addon thats could simulate an Airline management (as FSPassenger) but for free. I found FSEconomy, but does it allow to buy, rent and sell aircraft (from other players)? and hiring pilots? (optionally passenger feedback?) Also SimBuddy, it has a Virtual airline creation option but it also have a premium part, do VA creation need a premium subscription? Thanks in advance :) Marc
