Maybe it's something I don't want to know the answer to but I'll ask anyway. When going through the forum topics I notice everyone has a heart at the right side of the post or reply. Except me. I don't have one. What does the heart mean and am I some sort of outcast or something? I'd like to know. Noel

Hey folks, Just wanted to code a tiny conversion thing so I can use it to be more realistic on games and maybe real life in the future. I'm not looking for a plane specific but more a general conversion lets say for a 737-800 maybe. Thanks -Dream

Hi folks, I didn't really know where else to put this but I am keenly after a real normal checklist for the 747-200 - ideally from a British operator, even more ideally Virgin Atlantic, but really looking for anything - but these checklists are very few and far between, unlike modern aircraft. There are 2 that I've found Googling. I was just wondering whether you chaps had come across/were familiar with/had a checklist/knew anything about the normal procedures for the classic Jumbo, or know where I might find one. I'm not especially interested in having a hard copy or a full manual; I just want to get a general gist of the normal procedures in this aircraft, just for…

For me, this is much more like it. A route in the U.S that I've always loved ever since I was a kid, and stared out the car window at the tracks alongside the highways. Where did those trains go to? Who was on them? The tracks represented travel, adventure, unknown places and possibilities. My love of trains started there..... Amtrak!!! Now if only DTG does not screw it up. I'm always suspicious now when these titles appear with seemingly no warning and no In-depth previews. Especially as they offer the pre-purchase price of $17.99 if you get it now instead of waiting for the $29.99 release...... And the accompanying reviews...... Lets hope its g…

Hi everyone, I'm quite new to the forums, therefore I would like to apologize in advanced if this subject is posted in the wrong thread. I'm in a bit of a bind here. My dad's credit card that I use for online purchases has been blocked because someone had created a Simmarket account using my email to purchase an addon. Luckily it was only one item. However, this is still a very serious matter as the perpetrator may purchase more things under my email in the future. Do any of you guys know of any way to contact the Simmarket team via email or forums? I want to resolve this issue as fast as I can. Thanks.

So the flight attended comes to the cabin and asks if anyone is a pilot. You, the simmer, complete with a Logitech 3D Pro, takes up the responsibility of getting the bird on the ground. Do you think you could do it? When I started my flight training I thought the obvious answer was yes, and it seems a lot of other simmers think so to. While undoubtedly many of you could, here are some of the things that might surprise you. 1. Force Feedback. Many simmers can't afford force feedback equipment, so many of you might be surprised at some of the forces you might feel while flying. Using a joystick gives you extreme amounts of authority with the controls. This could b…

Hello all. I'm working with a project in the UK and we have put together a short 26 question survey so we can help understand the kind of sim user, their usage and other areas of flight simulation for users within the United Kingdom. I would like to invite and encourage all Flight Simmers (based in the UK only) to participate by visiting the link below. Thank you. [link removed]

Does anyone know if PMDG will ever develop a Lockheed L-1049 flight sim? That’s my favorite plane to fly on flight sim, the FX9 is getting outdated and would love to see it available to purchase on PMDG.

A lot of this sort of thing popping up lately, with some big names behind them. Along with autonomous cars, it seems it might be time for the ubiquitous flyers of Coruscant to leave our imaginations and start to become reality.
